The question is: did Alex avoid it or fall for it?
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.

My immediate reaction to the previous comment was #1, almost verbatim. Well, I think I put more "a"s in "run awaaaaaaaaaay", but yeah, space constraints.

Also, I fixed the title to fit the formatting of the other threads. Mostly so that I would have an actual reason to post.

Did Alex finally find a set of balls to drop?

If this is a trap, and he just made the wrong move... well, the consequences can't be death, since we know Alex makes it out, but I'm curious to see how this progresses.

Of all the times for Alex not to be a coward he picks this one.

I think the problem isn't so much what Alex decided to do, but what he said to Lisa. Obviously she meant well, despite her insanity. Hell, he could have used the time stop bit to at least have a moment of quiet and think about the craziness that he's been through since. But nope, he decided to caution to the wind, something he said he needed desperately to be when talking to her.

On the upside, Megaman's attempt at getting him to accept his heroic destiny is now a rousing success.

So, was I the only one who noticed the purple streaks in the background of thought three? The streaks which only appeared when he made exactly the decision the sovereign would want him too, I.E. to escape from the time stop where he could eventually come into contact with her?

Perhaps shes acting through Lisa or through Alex, but I don't think the decision he made was entirely his.

I interpreted it more as realizing that it was the Sovereign trying to trap him.

There's red streaks when he declares her his enemy. Sorrow is purple, Hope is... green I think, but what could red be? Anger? Alex?

True enough. I forsee that Lisa will drop the pause at the most inconvenient moment for Alex. It's happened before.

Er... no. He doesn't have his control pad. So she holds all of the cards of the dimensional manipulation suit. Alex needs to choose his next moves carefully.

He'll end 2010 in the same place he started 2010. In Nexus' Prison Block.

As for whether he made the right choice... Well, at least I think he made the least wrong choice. (And there may have been no right choice...)

It's a flimsy pretext, but I'm sure that the N-Team have gotten away with worse.

Ok, let me be more specific. What I meant was that he had a moment of peace to figure out how to use the Mystic Mouse, and failed to.

Red was the color of Alex's nutpunch of destiny.

That lends itself equally to the "rage" theory and the "Gamemaster Powa" theory, methinks.

Hm. Am I the only one who notices that the way Alex describes FFL!Alex and FFL!Ryan seems to switch their personalities? Or, at least how they see themselves.
