Man, Lucca's back to square one now. She's lost completely, and there really is nothing she can do. She's trapped. Just like Kain. Just like Spoony. |

Something that's not particularly relevant, but I thought was interesting... EoD is currently sitting at 9208 HP, and Lucca's at full health and MP because EoD didn't immediately hit her with Living Nightmare due to all the talking. Lucca will get two more hits on him, seemingly, and if I recall correctly, Wondershot's special effect is that it deals random damage. So, in theory, she could possibly win if she rolled the dice and got a max damage hit of 9999 on one of her two hits before she's taken down. Of course, that would be kind of an anticlimactic way to end this showdown, so as I said, it's pretty irrelevant. More than likely, she's just plain screwed. |

This is either very good- Gato was clearly being a bad influence on her and was only going to make things worse- or very bad, in that this will probably disable his loyalty protocols. I don't see the EoD situation as being that bad; he practically said outright here that he's trying to get her angry enough to kill him and end his sorrow. I have no worries about Lucca succumbing- apart from anything else, a major source of Hope energy is right there, and her game was all about screwing destiny anyway, so worst case scenario Crono'll slap her out of it when the time comes. |

Come on guys, Lucca OBLITERATED the Box when she backstabbed Frog. True, she wasn't her true self when she did so, but throughout the battleshe's ALWAYS manuvered through Fate's legs when cornered. True, she didn't get what she wanted out of Gato, but she did get information out of him. And with new information comes new options. Option 1: Throwing Masamune at EoD if his hit points<9999. (If currently above 9999, cast Flare in hopes of reducing them below 9000.) May work, may not, she may not even be able to do it; the Omega energy within her and the Alpha within the sword could cause a resonance feedback ending the battle then and there, though not necessarily in a victory for EoD. Option 2: Make a break for Alex's controler. One of two things could happen then: Event 2A: Alex will just then be able to utilize the Super Mouse to recall his control pad. Whether an attached Lucca would also be subject to that recall is in question and would also govern how events would unfold after. Event 2B: We've seen touched "Play with Power" before; and that was only the Pause feature. What if a desperate Touched Mechanical Genius got her hands on a Things do trend towards the unexpected and insane in Videoland. This battle will not end with just a straight up attack by EoD. But that's the only resolution that's locked out. Of course, a straight out "win" by the heroes is also highly unlikely. |
| It's a flimsy pretext, but I'm sure that the N-Team have gotten away with worse. | |
