So, I figure that the Queen sent him, in part, to ensure Alex knew the password. No idea what the favour is, though. |

Ah, so Kappa was there on the Queen's orders. I'd wondered if he'd just been called in by Alex's perceptions of what a tutorial should include. And agreed, part of the reason Kappa was sent out probably was to deliver the Magic Mouse's password. Ooh, so close, Alex... Would have made things quite a bit easier. Not sure about what Spoony's up to, either. Any chance he's concerned Kappa's exit will end the battle? He might try to figure out if there's any way Kappa can help him off Cecil, or get the imp to alert Rydia or Kain of his situation. |

I'm pretty sure Kappa could "run away" as a monster and not end the battle, since Spoony would still be there. So it seems pretty straight to me that Kappa's going to Spoony's carrier pigeon. Err... imp. |

This thread lies. There was no u in the favor Spoony asked for! |

If the definition of insanity has to do with expecting different results upon trying the same thing, then he must be one of the most insane people I've ever known." - Brickroad The Guardian Legend - By Red Silvers (VLP): Our Red Silvers continues to find the weirdest worksafe pictures of the game's protagonist, a plane that transforms into a waifu. Super Metroid - By Red Silvers (VLP): I think it's safe to say at this point, that Samus ain't leaving her suit once Red Silvers finally gets around the finishing this game. Fantastic Dizzy - By Red Silvers (VLP): Fresh off his recent run of Super Metroid, Red Silvers tackles yet another, err... classic? (Egg-scuse me for being confused about Red Silvers' next choice.)

U get me (Edward) coffee? But anyway, I don't think we'll know what Edward's "favor" would be. I just hope it's not asking to go get a weapon... Unless Edward also got a Merit Award... or something... And really, would going to Rydia for help be of any good at this point? Getting Kain, however, may be useful. At least all Kappa has to do it tell the (partial) truth... that Cecil caused Rosa to be Swooned. And with Kain's sense of direction, he'll get there just as Cecil's paralysis wears off... |
| It's a flimsy pretext, but I'm sure that the N-Team have gotten away with worse. | |

Or Edward could flee while Kappa gives Cecil a tutorial. Even if Cecil heads to Damcyan, what's he going to do? Storm the conference and attack Spoony Rubicante? |

Edward does know that keeping Kappa in the battle is only going to delay Cecil slightly, right? Unless he's wearing all the Imp Equipment, Cecil will end the battle extremely quickly, once his Paralysis wears off. |

Why should he care if Cecil is only delayed, if he can't actually find Spoony? Edit: Who are the Queen's servants so far? I count the Pabst Fairy, the Sailor Scouts, Kappa the Imp... am I missing someone? |
Hey, the comic seems to be updating kind of regularly. Maybe we should vote to spread the word.

The Hold spell might still hold out. Besides, it wouldn't be lawful to outright kill Kappa. He's an innocent. |

Okay, never give links to TVtropes again. I got sucked into it for 2 hours, and eventually ended on "The Tale of Sephiroth Goku the Stampede". |

don't forget Zelda as one of the Queen's servants. unless she IS the Queen. I imagine Edward is gonna tell Kappa to go find Kain. That, or stay there while giving Cecil a complete tutorial on everything there is to know. And Rydia is trying to stop Edward. I think. Been so, so very long. And even if Kappa has the Imp armaments, whats he gonna do against a level 99 Cecil, even if Kappa himself is level 99? Kappa is around the level of a regular human, despite being a paragon of imps, whereas Cecil is a paragon amongst humans. |

I think the forum has pretty much decided that the "pretender Zelda" is the duly elected Queen. |

I kinda thought Edward was gambling on the chance that Kappa might actually be able to hit Cecil with something. It'd be a race against time, with Kappa cherry-tapping Cecil and Cecil trying to break the Sorrow-hold on Kappa, since Kappa's not really that much of a threat. Even if he's on the level of a normal human, given Alex's treatment of the Spoony bard, he's still the stronger of the two. |

Dr. Wiley has surrendered. Mega Man has saved the planet from destruction. But will it last!!! "Think about it, mate: legends! When has a legend ever not been true, huh? HUH?!" --Marine, Sonic Rush Adventure "Good Morniii--AGH! I can't do it! I don't wanna be cute! I wanna be a boy!" --Ouran High School Host Club; Haruhi's English Voice Actor messing around.

Win, probably. The Imp Halberd inflicts crazy damage when used by any imp, much less one at level 99. It's reasonable that it'd be enough to harm Cecil at least a little, even with the paladin's giant defense. It's just as others have said: provided Rosa's Hold spell lasts, inflicting a teensy bit per hit is all Kappa needs, and a teensy bit per hit is not an unreasonable thing. That said, I'm not sure Kappa would be level 99. It kinda depends on whether this is Kappa from the Rage tutorial (as it probably is) or an FF VI character... because Alex was bored (probably Imp+Rename Card; not terribly unlikely, given I've heard about others doing it and this is Alex we're talking about). In the former case, even with the Imp Halberd (which it's uncertain Kappa has), the imp might not have any more luck than Spoony. WINNER: The Paladin. In the latter case... We probably have a level 99 FF VI character (meaning he might also have Dragoon Boots and possibly a Dragon Horn) with an optimized Imp set-up against an optimized level 99 Cecil with paralysis. With paralysis, WINNER: The Duck-Billed One. If the paralysis breaks, WINNER(S): ... The Audience. ... But yeah, I'm expecting Spoony will make Kappa his gofer. |
