Incidentally, I'm kind of interested in knowing who told MB about Omega energy. Who HE is? |

Spitefully killing Duke when she's already lost the battle and really pissing off Kevin is not what I would call practical. She did this entirely for the evulz, and it's going to cost her her life. |

Oh short sighted and fit of anger inspired certainly, but she's gotten over the death trap phase. That would pay off in the long term but for now she'll learn the meaning of Pyhrric Victory. |

Duke! ![]() *has a sad now* Quick pondering for you all: Kevin explicitly says in this comic that he "used up the last of [his] power" to save Lana. However, Kevin clearly uses his zapper to kill Mother Brain, which would imply that he has some sort of power left to do it. Is her death something that comes later after Kevin stews for a while, or is this where we find out about why swearing (emotion perhaps?) can possibly recharge a Gamemaster's devices? |

Let's remember that Captain SNES has innate powers we don't know of yet either. I'm to think that something about the Omega energy itself, since it seems to come off of him, possibly had something to do with frying MB. Hell, look at the beam when he fries MB... It's purple. The boy was filled with sorrow. |

The comic after the one you linked to is the one that specifically states that Kevin fired Omega Energy. I suspect that Alex used it against the Sinistral as well. Also, Huse has no idea what practical means. Practical would be having an escapee plan. This only guarantees passing off her mortal enemy. |

*Sad cat in snow* I... I actually saw this coming. I saw it coming, and still... And STILL it HURTS MY SOUL! WAHHH! {In a deep, spite-filled voice} Motherbrain died too cleanly. Empty her tank and dry her out. Then set her on fire. Finally, just before she dies, THEN blast her!

'No idea' seems a tad harsh, I meant practical as being adaptable. Using an appendage to swat a distracted opponent into a death trap was practical. I never said anything about it being wise. |

No...there isn't going to be a recharge in the Zapper itself. Rather, Kevin will tap into his own energy reserves and use an Omega-laced blast to take out Mother Brain. Again I reiterate: the Omega energy comes from Kevin himself (and other people from our world, like Alex + Ryan). P.S.: Come to think of it...if Omega energy works in that manner, then that probably means that Alex didn't use up his last shot killing off Gades + Daos. |

The only one who said that he used up his last shot was Alex himself, and it's explicitly stated that there are a number of things he doesn't understand about his own powers. For instance, Wily said that Alex didn't need the Sailor scouts to get out of the way to fire at the Sinistral, and you can probably remember all of the bad things that happened because Alex didn't know that. |

He also was counting on the 4 shots he had using the C-cell batteries. Remember, Wily freaked out when he heard Alex had the D-cells. |

Wily also mentioned that after all of the swearing Alex did, the D-cells were likely fully charged. Emotionally charged. With precisely what emotion, other than anger, there's no telling. And all this thinking of emotions powering energy attacks is making me think of Ranma 1/2. |

I also tend to think that Omega energy is anger. I guess Alpha energy would be love then? Beta..uh... what's between love and hate? Fear? |

I don't think it's really connected to any emotion. If Omega Energy is power from the real world, I'd think that Alpha energy is power from Videoland. |

If they're any emotion at all, the two energies are sorrow/despair and hope. |
