I love the changes! I love the real life scene with the Gamemaster. It is interesting that the cat was responsible for bringing the Gamemaster, despite the fact that his coming marks an increase in purple. It is further interesting that the area around him is green.

One note however, because I'm that annoying webcomic fan who needs a life. These comics show that the cat WAS MOST DEFINITELY the impetus for bringing Alex into Videoland. And Alex coming to Videoland and then going into the world of Final Fantasy was part of Spoony's plan to convert Marle, and he learned this from the Sovereign. BUT, Alex says he isn't sure the Sovereign can even see the cat's actions. If this is the case, then would it not necessitate that the Sovereign did not know that Alex was coming to Videoland. And if she did not know, how could she have informed Spoony enough in advance to get him to brainwash Kain, recruit Bikke, and invariably use Chrono and Marle against each other?

To further illustrate my loserdom, Alex is not wearing his jacket/coat in the real life clip. LOLOLOLOLOL.

I don't... fully understand your question.

Spoony's Sovereign-inspired plan was derailed because of the cat's interference, and the goal was to convert Marle by having Kain kill Crono (pertinent link). I'm not sure Alex and/or a Gamemaster even factored into it.

edit: I see long jacket sleeves in panel 7.

The Sovereign can see the gamemaster's future after he arrives in Videoland. Spoony's plan hardly even cared about Alex. I figure that originally, someone else was going to be the third member of the party in Alex's place. He didn't have much effect on that fight anyway.

Re: jacket... What little you can see of the sleeve in panel 4 looks denim. It's too distorted in panel 7 to tell.

That's a good point mordain. I didn't consider that. While he was present, his presence clearly did not appear to be necessary..

Goopus, there's an image of the outfit I was wearing below if it matters. I didn't have a blue coat handy, so I used an overshirt (with short sleeves for the "elongated / sucked into the TV" effect).
