Thank You!!! I am Jack, and thrilled to be a new member of Carver Chat to discuss my favorite series The White Shadow. The wonderful elements of this series was how much it resembled a documentary where the acting (with very few exceptions) was outstanding. This was like watching a documentary. The topics on the show would have been taboo in other series for that time: Racism, urban violence, homosexuality, alchoholism/drugs, rape, even murder. Everyone was wonderful in their roles and Ken Howard established legendary status as Coach Reeves. I look forward to discussions of this great show! Jack |
