This show actually encompassed my middle school period and high school freshman year (1978-1981).

Gee, I cannot believe so much time has elasped between the show's debut and now. WOW!!! Almost 30 years!!! Where has all the time gone?!

I have rather fond memories of the series. At first, I was the only one in my family who followed TWS. But then, slowly but surely, the rest of my siblings came around and followed the show with me!!!!

It remains a favorite of mine to this day.
It is one of the few TV shows I have actively followed and collected on DVD.

Looking back on TWS now, I relaize that Bruce Paltrow, Ken Howard and Co. were on to something. Nowdays, TWS is considered something of a precursor to such shows as The Sopranos, etc., in terms of how the story is handled and linearly maintained.

In that sense, watching these DVD's over 25 years later, coupled with all we know about such aforementioned TV series now, these TWS episodes seem to play out like mini-movies as opposed to an hour-long conventional TV drama.

Great site! :D Thanks for setting it up!!! :dribble: :tv:
