All of the choices listed are very good. I would also put the performances in "Needle" and the pilot episode at the top of my list.

One more I would add to the honorable mention list is Chris Mulkey as the player who tried to defect in "The Russians are Coming." --impressive Russian accent for a guy born in Wisconsin.

Another unforgettable scene I would add is the Reeves/Willie Jackson encounter in the locker room when he was cleaning out his brother's locker.

Some of the guest actors/actresses have gone on to do some pretty interesting things. I notice, for example, that David Raynr (Harold Witherspoon) has gone on to direct some pretty high profile movies. Brian Frishman (Mac Wade) runs a school for aspiring actors/actresses. Others have had parts in dozens of shows since the White Shadow. Richard Cummings Jr. (Albert Hodges) has played police officers in a number of shows.

Sybil comforts Raymond Collins in "Just One of the Boys."

That is my #1

Any part of "Sudden Death" (Randy Judd dies)

Watching "Burnout" where Mr. Mackie the History teacher seems to deteriorate mentally and physically to stress on screen. His speech at the faculty meeting just before his resignation is unforgettable.

As a side-note, many of the teachers, Mr. Finnimen, Ms. Stanley, and Mr. Mackie were so incredible in their roles, that you wish they could have been in even more episodes!
