Team Manager Posts: 169 Group: Members Member #41 Joined: February 12, 2007	We all kind of wondered in the episode "The Artist" how Thorpe was supposed to be a senior aproaching graduation and making a very important choice as to weather he should persue basketball at the college level or lean more towards being an Artist but then in season 3 he returns as a senior yet again. There was a little left un-closed for me until watching "Vanity Fair" again last week. At the end of "The Artist" you kind of get the feeling that Thorpe finally sees that his NBA dreams are a far stretch, but, he never really says that he will just give up. Though, he may be leaning more towards the drawing. In my opinion I think he would still go for the NBA using the drawing as a backup career. In "Vanity Fair" there is a scene were Nick, Salami, and Thorpe are at Thorpe's locker and they are talking about getting a record deal for Shower of Power. Nick says hey we might as well go for it because its not like the three of us will ever have a chance to play b-ball after carver. Than, Thorpe replies "Yeah your right besides there is more money in singing anyway. When I heard Thorpe say that, it kind of was a closure for me in that he had totally given up on his Hoop Dream!
