Who was the tall kid on the team in seasons 1 and 2, who never spoke? Never saw a name for him in the credits, so I guess he was an extra, but he was in so many scenes and it's always bothered me? Thanks.

I believe you're talking about "Baker". As for the actor who played him, that I don't know. Anyone?

The other two guys who never had any lines and seemingly went uncredited were "Brosstrom" and "Mays". One of them wore number 4 and one of them wore number 12, when Reese wasn't wearing it. I'm not sure which one is Brosstrom and which one is Mays. However, Baker wears number 22 and is the biggest guy on the team after Coolidge. He's the only one of the 3 ever to appear in game action.
Kind of funny how these three guys are never seen with the team when they're at any non basketball related function.

Near the end of "Albert Hodges", when the brothers are boycotting the game...you see Gomez, Salami, and Goldstein sitting alone in the locker room. Then, after the brothers realize Coach Reeves is alright, they hurry to the gym to dress. No Mays, Baker, or Bosstrom. But, when they run out to the floor, there's Baker, Mays, and Bosstrom.

Whassupwidat?

They weren't included in the brothers meeting either that Albert Hodges initiated after Salami was named team captain. (I didn't understand that either; wouldn't you go with a senior with leadership skills--aka Hayward?)

They did get to go on the bus to Las Vegas and are seen sneaking out of the motel rooms but somewhere between there and the casinos were apparently ditched--or maybe they changed their minds and decided to get some sleep :D

Just one of those things to ponder like why would they send the best two surgeons from all of the people in the MASH unit, Hawkeye and Trapper John, to diffuse a bomb? and why they couldn't decide whether it was Cliff, Clifford, Heathclif or Heathclifford Huxtable?

I don't rememember any of them getting playing time. What episode has Baker in the game? I believe he was the only one the Coach ever mentioned by name. Would have been nice if they had given him at least one line or word! :tv:

They did show up at a few random non-basketball occasions:

For one, they showed up at Coach Reeves house when Coolidge was living there and they threw the party! As they walk in the door those guys are seen walking in too and later partying it up!

Also, when Thorpe was in the hospital after being shot. Those guys were with the gang when they came to visit. Infact one of them pushed Salami off of the wheelchair. Salami almost clocked him, LOL!

There were a few other times as well!

Those guys just where the shy types that we all know from high school!! :X
