Hey Mack: With you at power forward and Cool at Center. Plus, could have been Jackson at small forward with me and Hayward at the guards! We could have won it all...... Good to see you back on the board, Mack............. |

Hey, Bobby...they DID win it all without you and Mack, remember? Didn't you go back to Oakland and get back in school...after Coach rescued you from those two gorilla suits?...Little Moses sends his regards! I guess we can include the Globetrotters...they are professionals. Where did Wolfe Perry play college ball and what NBA team drafted him? |

Lucius: Yeah they did but NOT without some lumps along the way! I went back to Oakland and Finished up my Junior year..... Than the following year I enrolled at South City High in the Bay (gotta keep it movin). We were in the PAL NORTH DIVSION which was different from Carver. We lost the regular season championship to EL CAMINO in triple overtime. 73-72 - I had 70 of the 72 points. I was the only baller on the team and they had me tripled teamed the whole game. After all that I went back to the hustle and grind of the streets! |

Wolfe Perry played at Stanford and was drafted by the Jazz. Name three actors who appeared in The White Shadow and also in the Bruce Paltrow series St. Elsewhere. One even played the same role in both series. |

Counting both regular cast members and guest stars, I can name ten: Byron Stewart (played Coolidge in both), Tim Van Patten, Christina Pickles ("Psyched Out"), Philip Sterling ("Spare the Rod"), Eric Laneuville ("Needle" and one other episode, I can't remember), Alfre Woodard ("Reunion, Pt. 1"), Saundra Sharp ("Me?" and "Mister Hero"), Ernie Hudson ("Little Orphan Abner"), Roseanne Katon ("Me?"), and Peter Horton ("Just One of the Boys"). Hayward did appear in "Links", at the very end during the golf lesson... He did not appear at all in "Salami's Affair", he directed that ep... He was in "Me?", when the team was razzing Cool and Diana in the school hall. Only other eps I remember where one of the original 8 was MIA were: -"Cross Town Hustle" and "Salami's Affair" were sans Hayward. -"Cool Goes Hollywood" and "A Few Good Men" were without Jackson, for obvious reasons. -"Reunion (1) was sans Cool, Thorpe, and Salami. There was one season 1 or 2 ep without Goldstein...I'm trying to scan the DVD's for it...the team was practicing and Coach asked why they seemed so upbeat and I believe Thorpe answered, "it has something to do with Goldstein not being here"...any help on this one? Just looked at the DVD's...that ep was "Spare the Rod", but Goldstein did appear. The part where the team was upbeat because of his absence was at the beginning, and Reese was the one who answered the coach. Alright, back to the questions...only twice in Season 2 did Goldstein ever remove his glasses, name the two episodes. |

Again, having the DVD's is a great thing...Jeff Simpson is not the only "Add-on" to score. If you look at "Cops", just before the first half buzzer of the game against the PAL Cougars, one of the non-speaking extras hits a fadeaway jumper from the foul line to tie it. Reeves then sends the starters in for the second half and blows them away. Alright, who knows the Goldstein question? |

Ooh Ooh I know! I know!! Goldstein took his glasses off when he got into it with Vitaglia at the beginning of "The Russians are Coming"--"Yeah, I'll knock it off, Vitaglia!" The 2nd time was when he joined the cash game at the end of "A Few Good Men." I remember he had the so-called Marine "haircut" and no glasses! Here's one: What team did Carver beat to get into the championship game and what team did they beat to become city champions? |

Forgot about him taking the glasses off to square off on New York...he also had his glasses off when he came out of the porno house in "Needle" and ran into Hayward trying to meet Trotter...so there were 3. Carver beat Keeler to get to the final, the only time Coolidge played against them...they met three other times during the series' run, all without Cool, and lost. And...they beat Westmere for the title...sadly without Jackson, though. Alright, Hayward smoked a cig in "Needle"...name the only other episode in which he was shown burning one. |

Hayward had a cig in hand when the Coach caught him and the other smokers behind the school in "Just One of the Boys." The scene included his "cockroaches and a reputation" explanation to the Coach and was used in the opening credits the next season. We all know that there were several scenes showing the players with alcohol and one episode with prescription drugs but was there any other time a player was shown smoking? |

Somebody was burning one in the opening scene of "Here's Mud in Your Eye"...C.J. claims it wasn't him...after all, he told Dr. Crawford he didn't smoke. Reese wasn't shown smoking at the community center in "A Few Good Men", but he did pick up an empty pack like he wanted one. |

Oh, two instances for Thorpe...in "Coolidge Goes Hollywood" he had a cig while sitting at the bar, but didn't light it...also, during Cool's dream sequence in "Georgia on My Mind" he sported a stogie, but it didn't look lit. |
