GREAT movie first off. Our guy Nathan Cook plays "man giving directions". When the Griswolds take a wrong turn & get lost in the ghetto of St. Louis (I believe). Nathan is the guy who gives Chevy Chase directions (as useless as they were) while others vandalize the family truckster. Anyways, in that scene Nathan is holding a basketball. I know it's probably just meant to be a stereotype but I like to think of it as subtle tribute to the greatest television show of all times.

Ha! That's funny! Nathan Cook was hilarious in that scene, as brief as it was. I clearly remember his line about directions: "What, for free? Five dollars!" Thanks for the tip. |
