So, first things first. If you wanna be on the Glee club , you gotta audition. Auditions go here. Basically, you have to RP your character auditioning for the club and singing a song. If you're good enough, or even if you're not, its not like anyone would join the glee club, Will Schuester would probably let you join anyways. They need the members. State your name and the song you're singing, then belt it out.

"Hi, my name's Finn Hudson, and I'm going to be singing Cum On Feel The Noize by Slade." His words echoed throughout the auditorium, as the other glee clubbers, together with Mr. Schuester, sat down and watched as he was about to perform. He was a little nervous, though he had no idea why. He took a couple of steps and sat down in front of the drum set, adjusting the mic, placing it nearer his mouth. He nodded over to the band and they began to play the first chords of the song. Finn immediately followed.

Come on feel the noise
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild.
Wild, wild, wild.

So you think I got an evil mind
I'll tell you honey
I don't know why
I don't know why
So you think my singin's out of time
It makes me money
I don't know why
I don't know why, anymore. oh no

There was a certain raspy-ness to Finn's voice as he sang the verses, raising the volume of his voice to make sure that he wasn't drowned out by the sound of the drums. He tried his best to grunge up his own voice because he was singing a rock song, though he knew it wouldn't sound as authentic or as good as the original. Either way, it seemed passable, at least from his own opinion. He tapped the base and the snare a couple more times before he began with the chorus again, this time, bobbing his head up and down, rocking to the beat.

Come on feel the noise
Girls rock your boys
we'll get wild,wild,wild.
Wild, wild, wild.
Come on feel the noise
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild,wild,wild.
Wild, wild, wild.
Till dawn.

This time around, Finn placed the drum sticks on top of his seat as he got up and moved across the stage, grabbing one of the free microphones in one of the stands. He pulled up his leather jacket in a bikerguy-like fashion as he faced the audience, moving a pointed finger across the seats.

Well you think we have a lazy time
You should know better
I don't know why
I don't know why

So you say I got a dirty mind
Well I'm a mean go-getter
I don't know why
I don't know why, anymore, oh nooo....

Come on feel the noise
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild
wild, wild, wild.
Come on feel the noise
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild, oh...

Finn headed back to the drums, picking up the sticks as he sat down. At that moment, the band slowly stopped playing their instruments, just like he had instructed them, and the stage fell silent. He raised his arms, one stick in each hand, and began tapping the wooden instruments together in a slow, rhythmic beat. The next few lines, he sang acoustic, no accompaniments aside from the sound of the wooden drumsticks tapping one another.

Come on feel the noise
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild, oh yeah!...
Come on feel the noise
Girls rock your boys
Come on feel the noise
Girls rock your boys
We'll get wild, wild, wild...

As he said the last few words of the song, he ended the song, slamming unto the drums for one final beat.

Inhaling deeply, an expression of complete ease drifting across her face, Rachel Berry stepped up to the microphone positioned in the middle of the stage; directly in line with the judge's table, where Mr. Schuester - their curly-haired Spanish teacher-turned-Glee-Club-Director was patiently awaiting her performance. And what a performance it would be; Rachel had made sure to prepare from the moment she first spotted the sign-up sheet posted on the notice-board in the hallway. Her hazel eyes met briefly with the faces of the accepted Glee members, and she straightened her posture confidently before addressing those in front of her.

"As I'm sure most of you will already know, my name is Rachel Berry and today I've chosen to treat you all to what is expected of a true performer. I will be performing my rendition of "On My Own" from the seminal Broadway classic, Les Mis. Having been trained in the arts since I was such a small and exceptionally bright little girl, I have no doubt that some of you might feel more than a little shocked by my stunning talent. As a warning, I ask anyone who may suffer from a heart or nerve problem that they please vacate the area until my performance draws to a devastatingly elegant close."

She waited for a moment, failing to notice the irritated looks that the other Glee clubbers had exchanged after her opening speech. Instead, she immersed herself completely in the music as Brad, the pianist, began to play.

On my own
Pretending he's beside me
All alone
I walk with him 'til morning
Without him, i feel his arms around me
And when I lose my way, I close my eyes and he has found me

In the rain
The pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me forever and forever

And I know its only in my mind
That i'm talking to myself and not to him
And although I know that he is blind
Still I say theres a way for us

I love him
But when the night is over
He is gone
The river's just a river
Without him, the world around me changes
The trees are bare and everywhere the streets are full of strangers

I love him
But everyday i'm learning
All my life i've only been pretending
Without me, his world will go on turning
A world that's full of happiness that I have never known
I love him
I love him
I love him
But only on my own

She closed her eyes softly as the lights upon her faded, her heart racing as it always did when she performed a solo. As promised, it had been a fantastic performance. Rachel Barbara Berry was nothing short of a perfectionist, and she was determined that someday, she would be as big a star as the performer whom she took her middle name from; if not bigger. Glee Club was going to be her means of achieving such an ambitious goal, she knew it. She was born to be a star.

Quinn walked into the auditorium to audition which she was nervous about even though Quinn is never nervous about any thing. She walked over to the mic and spoke "Im Quinn Fabray and im going to sing Papa Dont Preach by Madonna" Quinn told them she nodded to brad at the piano and started the introduction

Papa I know you're going to be upset
'Cause I was always your little girl
But you should know by now
I'm not a baby

You always taught me right from wrong
I need your help, daddy please be strong
I may be young at heart
But I know what I'm saying

The one you warned me all about
The one you said I could do without
We're in an awful mess, and I don't mean maybe - please

Papa don't preach, I'm in trouble deep
Papa don't preach, I've been losing sleep
But I made up my mind, I'm keeping my baby, oh
I'm gonna keep my baby, mmm...

Quinn walked off the stage and sat with the other glee clubbers till mr schue spoke to them.

Mike made his way up the stage, still very nervous. Just a couple of months ago, he'd rush home just so he could dance in seclusion, hidden in his room, but now, he had slowly been developing the confidence he needed to perform in front of an audience. He was, after all, pretty good. He swallowed hard before nodding over to the band to let them know that he was ready. He wasn't a particularly good singer, and he was just afraid of embarrassing himself in front of everyone. He decided on a song that seemed rather easy to sing. The intro music began to play and Mike smiled, glad that the band knew how to play this.

You ought to know
Tonight is the night to let it go
Put on a show
I wanna see how you lose control
So leave it behind, cause we have a night to get away
So come on and fly with me
As we make our great escape

Mike bobbed his head to the music, stretching out his arms and legs preparing himself. When the first part of the song played, the dancer slid sidewards, moving his feet to the sound of the beat. He shuffled across the floor, doing an arm wave before popping his shoulder to the side. With each beat of the song, Mike stepped to the left, moving from a slow step to a fast jig with each line of the song, repeating the shoulder popping motion with each step. He started to sing the chorus.

So baby don't worry
You are my only
You won't be lonely
Even if the sky is falling down
You'll be my only
No need to worry
Baby are you down, down, down, down, down
Down, down
Baby are you down, down, down, down, down
Down, down
Even if the sky is falling down

He threw himself down on the floor, his body gliding slowly downward in a snake-like motion, matching the final 'down' lyric, before he pushed himself up again. He rose from the floor, arching his back backwards, as though an invisible thread tied to the back of his head was being pulled backwards. Mike ended up in a standing position, but only for a bit. He willed himself backwards even more, catching himself with his hands, landing on a handstand, his legs making an inverse-four sign. He dropped down and stood up once more, moving closer to the edge of the stage, his voice sounding a bit more exasperated now.

Just let it be
Come on and bring your body next to me
I'll take you away (ay)
Turn this place into our private getaway
So leave it behind, cause we have a night to get away (away, away)
So come on and fly with me
As we make our great escape
So why don't we run away

So baby don't worry
You are my only
You won't be lonely
Even if the sky is falling down
You'll be my only (oh)
No need to worry (oh)
Baby are you down [x5] (oh, the sky is falling down)
Down, down (oh, down)
Baby are you down [x5] (oh, the sky is falling down)
Down, down (oh, down)
Even if the sky is falling down
Oh, oh, the sky is falling down

He spun his legs around in a helicopter motion, pushing his hands off the ground and twisting his body, making him land squarely on his feet. Mike froze for a few seconds, catching his breath, before dropping to the floor. He lay on the ground, staring at the auditorium ceiling, waiting until he caught his breath before he got up and headed back to his seat. Hopefully, he had done enough to get in the club.

"Hello. My name is Annie Brown. Um, I'm pretty new at this school, so not many of you know me. But I decided to try out for Glee club because I adore singing, and before I start rambling, I'll tell you what I'm singing. I Dreamed a Dream, from the West End and Broadway legend, Les Miserables. She motioned over to the pianist, Brad, instructing him that she was ready. She took in a deep breath as the music started, and began.

There was a time, when men were kind
And their voices were soft
And their words were inviting
There was a time, when love was blind
And the world was a song
And the song was exciting
There was a time it all went wrong

I dreamed a dream in time gone by
When hope was high and life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving

Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung, no wine untasted

But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they turn your hope apart
As they turn your dreams to shame

He slept a summer by my side
He filled my dreams with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came

And still I dream he'd come to me
That we would live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather

I had a dream my life would be
So different from the hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed

As the song came to an end, and the music drifted off, Annie closed her eyes, and gave a half-smile, feeling quite confident with her audition. She opened her eyes, and smiled wide at Mr. Schue before walking off the stage.

Puck went up to the stage, acoustic guitar in tow. He didn't know why he was even auditioning again for this club. He was a bad-ass and bad-asses don't join stupid singing clubs. Even if that stupid singing club was fun to be in. He grabbed a stool, one of the black ones left behind by that rapist Sandy Ryerson, and plopped down on it. He took the guitar out of his guitar case, making sure it was fine tuned, then addressed the room.

"Umm, I'm Puck, but you already knew that. I'm gonna be doing Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, who was a bad-ass Jewish stud like me." He winked at the audience before playing that first chord. Letting the music flow out, he started his song.

Where it began
I can't begin to knowin
But then I know it's growin strong

Was in the spring
And spring became the summer
Whod have believed you'd come along

Hands, touchin hands
Reachin out
Touchin me
Touchin you

Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would

Puck stood up, strumming his guitar as hard as he could. As much as he didn't like to admit, he enjoyed Glee Club. He smiled as he finished up his song.

Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I've been inclined
To believe they never would
Oh, no, no...

He finished the last chord, letting it set in, then rubbed his mohawk. "So, am I in?"
