Loki chuckled as the being spoke of Alnar having eight planets. The sound was strangely musical for such a vicious looking creature."I have ruled over more planets than that." Loki said simply as he followed the being. Then he asked about the Jedi and the Sith.."Well, the sith were once a race...thousands of years ago, however I was a Sith, but I am a Zabrak." Loki said to the man once more. "Sith are wielders of the darkside, who thrive on hate and rage, and suffering to manipulate the darker side of the force, Jedi are the opposite the embodiment of the Lightside. They are..how you say religions who have been raging war for eons, any race can be one or the other, as long as they can wield the force." Loki said simply. "I am now, somewhere in the middle, I am a wielder of the darkside, but I fight for the light." Loki said absently. When asked if he was a spy he stifled a laugh. "If I am a spy on your world I am a bad one at that." Loki said politely. "Yes, that is galactic basic, you must have picked up." Loki said bemusedly. "ibic cuyir mandoa." Loki said in Mandolorian. "Another language, there are hundreds, and hundreds of planets in my galaxy." Loki said, looking around with curiosity, and slight awe at the strange structures and buildings and the clone like people so hard to distinguish from one another. "Your people remind of Ratakan's." Loki said simply as they traveled deeper into the world, he seemed used to people staring as those they passed stopped and wondered at the creature.

Eir'Oki hesitated for a moment, looking back and up at the creature. This being had ruled over planets? For a second, his eyes looked very intrigued- but not impressed, just- intrigued. He listened quietly as Loki explained that while the Sith were a race a long time ago- they were also a religion, as well as the Jedi- and the two were at war with each other. The 'Force' came back up again, and for a moment the Kyran supposed it was a kind of mindset- which made sense to him. There were dark thoughts and light thoughts. I see, very interesting. War is never too far from home it seams.
He commented, laughing slightly at Loki's comment about being a spy. Shaking his head- he considered Loki's last few words as the two approached the polished black- almost mirrored door of a large building. Placing his hand on it, an orange light flashed below his palm, and a symbol pulsated with orange energy before the door slid smoothly back into the wall. Within the exterior shell- were two structures, reaching the top of the building, almost like buildings themselves- connected every so often by a bridge high above them. These buildings- within buildings almost made each massive external structure feel like a small city in and of itself. Your universe sounds very large- I suppose that only means you have several times more problems than this one has though. He gave a slight smile. I need to take care of something here- it will only take a moment, then- seeing that you just arrived here well- He considered briefly. I suppose you could stay with me for the night if you'd like- until we make other arrangements... He glanced around and then looked back at Loki. Normally- I'd just let you go on your way- but considering you've never been here... you're unfamiliar, and I am a security officer, I kind of have to do my job- you understand.

Loki listened, this man talked a lot. When he mentioned that Loki's universe was very large Loki merely smiled. "We haven't explored but a quarter yet..There are hundreds of worlds, hundreds of different beings, millions of flora and fauna.." Loki said simply. "As for problems..The galaxy is plagued by problems, for years we fought the vong, and then there was the empire, the wars of the old republic, the Ratakan and the infinite empire, the Mando wars, the Sith conquests before Bane." Loki said the last name almost reverently. "Then the rebellion against the empire..and now the First order." Loki said with a look of disgust, but now was not the time to talk of these things this man had offered Loki a place to rest. "I would greatly appreciate and accept your offer, and perhaps, even though I'm sure I and my world fascinate you, I think perhaps I should learn more about your world, from what you said, you have a war on your hands? With another planet..or closer to home?" Loki asked pointedly, looking up in awe at the buildings within buildings, Loki was sure there where places like this. Well hell Courscant was an entire planet-city, and really two cities.

So many conflicts- so many new names.

Eir'Oki said in some slight awe, as he led the Zabrak to one of the large internal buildings. Rather than these buildings having walls cleanly up each side- each floor had walkways open to the outside of the greater external structure- such that, if Loki were to look up at the two internal structures, he could see people meandering along these paths, up the side of the structures, like hundreds of ants.
Eir'Oki stopped at what looked like a data terminal- a few of the same machines spaced out around at precise measurements from one another. It seemed like everything the Kyran did followed some kind of pattern. Keying in a few commands, he looked at Loki and shrugged.

Alright- my security shift is officially over. He said, motioning for the Zabrak to follow him as headed to the internal building's main door. He opened it in the same manner as the last door and stepped inside. This time- they were inside a normal looking building- halls branched off at right angles from one another and light filtered in- but still things felt darker because of the black metallic walls. Square lifts moved up and down- taking passengers to different levels. I don't live far from here- There we can sit, and I'll tell you of our own conflict. They entered one of the lifts and ascended up about six floors- a few more turns, and Eir'Oki was able to lead Loki into his quarters, which was more like an apartment. Gray tiled floors and some stone colored tilled walls broke up the normal black construction which made up the rest of the building- but overall, the appearance of the rooms was one might say, sterile. It's not much- The Kyran admitted, But it's more than some could say with my job.

Loki was glad these beings were closer to his size, he was able to find a seat with ease in the being's small apartment? Loki shrugged and sat down, the being had been awed by Loki's new words and it made Loki wonder how obsessed with learning these creatures were.."So you were saying about your own conflict, are we in danger here?" Loki asked quietly, almost nonchalantly.

Not having much to hide- despite his job, he rarely took work home with him- Eir'Oki went into his small kitchen and returned with two glasses of water. At present, he wasn't sure what the being could eat or drink- considering he was an alien, so he figured water would be the safest bet. Setting across from the Zabrak, he shook his head.

Oh- here? This city is impenetrable. Our enemy has never tried attacking us.
With a shrug, and a confident glint to his eye, he shook his head. Our enemy are- admittedly, our fault. We Kyran strive for genetic perfection. It's just our culture. But some times that kind of meddling can get people in trouble. The Shilor are our enemies- vicious mutants of our own people. They're stronger- faster, and far more resistant than we ever anticipated.
He sighed, looking a bit warn out just thinking about it. We have them vastly out numbered- but even still...this war has been going on for many hundreds of years- two millennia at least.
He frowned deeply. It's difficult fighting an enemy- so much like you, but so very different. But I'm sure our little war can't compare to the things you've seen. Perhaps- if it's not too prying- an outside opinion might be beneficial. He looked genuinely at the Zabrak, not at all meaning to impose or ask too many questions.

Loki stifled a laugh at impenetrable city, people always said these things about great structures and then when the structure failed what then? Loki had proven time and again impenetrable was a myth, a lie one told your self to protect your insecurities. "Genetic mutants you say?" Loki said quietly. "I am a genetic experiment, My race is usually much smaller and more lithe, but no less deadly." Loki said cynically if he wondered if that's why Loki was special."Two thousand years? I suppose I can't kill you then for the sake of evil deeds done thousands of years in the past...And planetary wars are still common even in my universe, and I cannot remember a war lasting that long, not in my life time. Why my new friend, I think your conflict might be larger, but on a smaller board." Loki said simply. "Though to be far, I have ordered hundreds of thousand of men to their deaths and for victory...So scale perhaps I've seen more, but time? No, never." Loki sat back, he rarely spoke this much, but he had triggered the general in Loki. "Tell me what is the name these people have, and what their goal is? Why do you fight if you are the same?" Loki asked pointedly. "And if you have numbers why not use that to overwhelm them, like the Zhall against the Taung..." Loki said quietly.

Instantly Eir'Oki looked curious- if but a little miffed at Loki's reference to himself as a genetic experiment. He supposed that he would not take the alien to see anything pertaining to their labs- at least not in this area of the city, considering Loki seemed a bit emotional about it. While the Kyran did not have the force- he could feel a strange, powerful energy rippling off the alien, and the last thing he wanted was to cause him to become hostile. They already had enough problems. Well- that is what we are trying to accomplish- to right the wrongs of our past and bring our planet back to the peaceful state it was in before our scientists went too far. He added the last part bitterly and glanced away. The Shilor warriors are heartless. They do not negotiate and they do not take prisoners. Our numbers alone have proven ineffective against them. He considered for a moment, a small struggle playing out in his mind before he relented. Well- let me just show you. Lifting a hand, palm up, Eir'Oki focused for a second and suddenly a burning ball of orange light sprang up within his hand. It wasn't fire, it did not flicker, but it did oscillate. We're all capable of creating raw kinetic energy, but only a few of us are well practiced in the art- mainly our military. He closed his hand, extinguishing the light. The Shilor have this ability also- but they take it even farther- having the capability to transcend their physical form and simply become the energy they manipulate- some how, without ripping themselves apart. They're almost impossible to approach in that form, and they can inflict devastation on more than 100 troops at a time. Now just image several hundred of these Shilor, simply bombing our units with their own bodies- and you can start to see why numbers aren't enough to secure a victory.
He closed his eyes for a moment. Not to mention they're superior telepaths. We've tried chemical and biological agents- but we, ourselves are too similar to risk a backlash from something like that. He considered what Loki said about how long their conflict had lasted compared to Loki's own universe and shrugged. The reason for our war's length is rather simple. We're an ageless race. We stop degrading at about age 35, and unless killed by physical means, we continue. Some of us still remember when the war began. I- personally, and only 127. The drone of war gets dull after a while. Many of us even forget it's happening- elsewhere on the planet.

So some of them had been alive for this experimentation, in Loki's opinions, at least what this creature was willing to say and not say about, but to Loki himself, it seemed like perhaps the reason behind the Shilor's creation was more for the power of knowledge and advancing their people versus selfish means of conquest or profit. "So you are an immortal race? But can be killed, interesting most interesting, we have long lived races to be sure, perhaps you are some advanced form of Zhell..." Loki mused, then he frowned and looked at the orange ball quizzically, he almost had the urge to reach out and touch it, however thought better of it. Loki smiled, then frowned at what he said about the Shilor, that truly sounded devastating. "Kinetic energy given living form...Insanity, who would do such a thing, it's so foolish." Loki said critically. "Let me show you....The Force." Loki said quietly. With that Loki held up a hand, suddenly Eir'oki began to float a few inches off the ground. It was but a few inches but Kyrans where large and dense, he could sense that much, Loki set him down gently and lifted his other hand palm up, along with the other, suddenly with a loud crackle, lightning began to arch between Loki's hand as his silver eye flashed yellow. Suddenly it stopped and Loki sighed deeply. "Forgive me, during my...Travels I was forced into a strange world of darkness even I could not stand, and attacked by strange beings. I do not believe they could follow me here, but they have left me in a weakened state or I would show you more of my power, but what I showed you is the manifestation of The Force." Loki said simply. "How do people forget there is a war raging for two thousand years..Your race must be superfluous as well as intelligent..." Loki stated not unkindly.

Eir'Oki shook his head.
I wouldn't say our race is immortal. We certainly die- and there are some out there who are very good at helping us find our mortality.
He frowned, considering what Loki said about energy manipulation and how foolishly the Shilor used the technique.
It isn't foolish for them. Then can leap into battle- blast a hole in the ground and reform themselves in a matter of minutes. And while they are weaker after the fact- it's not like anyone is around anymore to attack them. Eir'Oki let out a long sigh and leaned back in his chair. They've even developed machines to magnify their energy output. They create weapons to take advantage of their own unique skills. If we attack from the air- they have self generating shields- if we attack from the ground, they have energy powered weapons that can wipe out a far superior force in a matter of minutes if we're not careful. I'd say it looks like we're loosing- if it weren't for our ability to keep them contained within their borders. So I suppose you could consider the war a stale mate- even though soldiers continue to parish.
Loki then spoke of the Force- and, as he opened his mouth to ask what that exactly was, he felt the chair drop out from under him- or rather his body lift from the chair. He jerked briefly before realizing the controlled manner in which he was lifted and set back down. With intrigued eyes, the Kyran watched Loki's display of lightning and nodded. Telekinetic abilities- electrokinesis? That's very impressive. For a moment, he imagined a war between these Jedi and sith- with bodies flying and arcs of lightning flying back and forth between the opposing sides. Something told him though- that the force ran deeper than that. I knew I felt an energy cascading around you. He stood to his feet and tilted his head. I would like to show you the last unique ability both our races are capable of. I'm not very good at it- but... Lifting his hand, holding up two fingers, a flash of orange light ignited, and as it faded a split second later- a thin black shard was present between his fingertips. It glinted like the metalic walls surrounding them. It's a carbonic structure- stronger than diamond. We use carbon forming to construct our buildings- our weapons, and even components of our space crafts. Tossing the small blade like object in the air- it flashed with orange light and vanished back into the atmosphere. As I said- I'm not very practiced in the skill.
When Loki revisited what Eir'Oki had said about the war drifting into the back of most people's minds though, he shook his head with a sad kind of smile. None of us truly forgets about the war- but for most of us, there's little we can do to make things better. Our army is able to keep the Shilor well away from our borders, so we rarely feel the danger- but we do feel the loss... not everyone comes home at the end of the day. I've never been on the front lines- but I've heard stories..... He said, with a visible shutter.

Loki smiled, and nodded as Eir'oki spoke after his display. "What you felt is the Dark Side, a Jedi could never cause lightning like this, though they have similar techniques, there's is hardly as deadly, few Jedi can absorb energy the and utilize it like Sith or Darksiders can. And when we fight..Lets just say in fighting the darkside gives us an edge." Loki said sadly. "Forgive me, that made me sound so Sith like, but I renounced that path..In fact my true friends, the only friends I've ever truly known are Jedi..." Loki said simply, he was suddenly stricken with homesickness. He wondered if the others had successfully defeated the wizard and where even now trying to bring him back, or did they fear him dead? When Eir'oki did the carbon trick Loki seemed very impressed, mineral manipulation, now that was impressive. Though Loki could perhaps go into battle and show them what the force was capable of.."Eir'oki..did you lose someone to this fight...What are relationships like for your people, you seem kind, and seem to feel emotion so I figure you must make connections to your people, yes?" Loki asked his tone softening a bit, being around Raven Alora had helped him round his edges in his speech, albeit, the sharpness still came when faced with enemies.

Eir'Oki nodded slowly as Loki spoke. The Jedi- from what this creature said, seemed like kinder beings anyway. He supposed the Sith were much like Vantorians- trusting in power to dominate and destroy targets. But he supposed those titles weren't permanent, considering the large Zabrak hadn't appeared in the streets slaughtering everything he saw- even though he claimed to once be a Sith Lord. With keen, observant eyes, Eir'Oki recognized how much the past pulled on this man- but also how much Loki fought against it. You are strong. The Kyran said, at length. And not because you ruled over many planets- or can create electricity in your hand- but because you know who you want to be- and are constantly fighting to become your future self.
Kyran weren't inherently philosophical, but he couldn't quite figure out how to portray exactly what he wanted to say in his normal calculated and to-the-point manner. In a way, we're not so different. There's a war being fought inside you- right now. He smiled slightly and shook his head. You're doing a better job than we are. His smile vanished when Loki asked his questions and Eir'Oki looked away- fixating his eyes on a off colored section of the back wall. My brother. He was ended on the battle field. All we got back was a warped piece of his armor, and the shattered remains of his arm- The carbon in it had been crystallized, completely. He blinked rapidly for a moment and tightened. We were lucky. Some times all others see are glassy fragments of their loved ones- or nothing at all. He sighed and cleared his throat- recovering from the grotesque images the memory brought to mind. As for relationships- Well- we're all very proud of our lineage. Most of us take up the professions of our parents- and, just like genetics- over the generations, we all get better at our jobs. He shrugged his shoulders and sat back down-almost in a slump. Well I'm an exception... My father is a general- My brother and I were obviously expected to join the military, but he went and I stayed behind. He frowned. I honestly don't really have the stomach for this conflict, and honestly.. He narrowed his eyes and glanced far off in the distance- not daring to make eye contact with the larger being in the room. The Shilor scare the shards out of me....

Loki nodded as his thoughts where confirmed. "I heard a thing, quoted by a Jedi to me once..The last Jedi grand master said these words, or so I'm told. Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." Loki said solemnly, looking down at his feet, he seemed to be relaxing, which was nice it was the first time in days, but by no means was he letting his guard down in this alien world. "Perhaps this phrase is more true than I once thought, that, your war seems to agree with it, fear lead you to war. Though the Sith code does little to mention fear, and suffering lead me to the Sith.." Loki said rhetorically, by their nature, Sith and Jedi where philosophizer's, they couldn't help it, some called them mystics others a farce but the truth was, the force even in this world most likely had a hand it, For if anything Loki had learned in his life time is that force permeated all walks of life, even if it went under another name or form of energy, Loki believed it was the force, like Eir'oki said he could feel Loki's signature in the force, and Loki could feel various ripples through out the planet and in the system its self. "I have never believe that we should follow in the footsteps of our parents..I never knew my father, but he...He was a legend." Loki said though in all honesty Loki's legacy was ten times that of his fathers. "My father was a Sith Lord to Darth Sidious, he was a vicious fighter, a warrior of the highest order.." Loki said reverently. "I am the only one to have followed him down that path..I have two brothers, we were triplets, also augmented and mutated...They became Jedi..I became Sith. Just because you are a mere security officer doesn't mean you aren't doing what's right for you...As I'm sure your father has told you, yes?" Loki asked skeptically wondering how this General felt about his son.

Eir'Oki shook his head with a light chuckle. My father? My father thinks I'm a coward. At my brother's memorial- he made it very clear to me that I should have been the one to parish, not Rail'tor. He was important to our family's heritage. He shrugged and shook his head. I might be important to the security of this district- but not to my father. I've never seen the Shilor- and I never want to. I guess I am a coward- but I'm alive- and I'm still useful so I've come to terms with it. I rarely speak to my family anymore anyway.
He considered Loki's dissection of his own family, and the paths the three brothers had taken. So you followed in your father's footsteps- yet shifted courses recently. That's very interesting. Breaking a cultural norm like I have is very difficult without serious ridicule. There's a reason I live alone. His smile wasn't entirely happy- but it was content. He did not dislike his life, even though it wasn't what others expected of him. He did his job- and he did it very well. And as for Fear causing this war? That's true. I wonder... if god ever looks down with fear of his own creation...He said, glancing up at the ceiling for a moment. I may not be a soldier- but I do know the reason they are out there fighting and dying is because they are afraid.
He made to speak again but a reserved knock resounded from the door- and seconds later it opened of its own accord.

A cloaked figure entered the room- roughly 6 feet in height, shorter than the other two. A dark blue hood obscured the figure's features, and he quickly lifted two gloved hands in order to remove the hood. A shock of brilliant white hair drifted down slightly past his ears in unkept wisps. A silver metallic visor covered both of his eyes- but other than that, he looked absolutely human.
The man seemed a bit off- if only because he did not verbally announce his presence. He did not say anything at all, only nodded to both of them and held a piece of paper out toward Eir'Oki- which looked like some formal document of some kind.

That was... swift.
Eir'Oki said- clearly caught off guard by the newcomer. He took the page and scanned it with his eyes before suddenly realizing Loki stood there. He blinked and after placing the page down on a table- he extended his hand toward the white haired man.
Loki- this is Scry. He is from Calvador, the second planet in Alnar. Calvadorians can't speak- so, don't take his silence the wrong way. He looked at the Calvadorian with a straight expression on his ebony face. Don't try to figure out what he is Scry- Loki is,

<<From somewhere else, I gathered>>
Scry's voice resonated in a realm of thought easily ignored should anyone not want to listen to him- but to those who did, his telepathy would feel solidly powerful. His words were pure relepathy. The force did not play a role here. Even still, the telepathic potentual of this single man dwarfed Eir'Oki's by a landslide.
<<Welcome to Alnar>>
He projected. His careful control to be non invasive, belied how truly invasive his telepathy could truly be. It could cause question as to why he was found here, in the small apartment of a Kyran security officer.

Family troubles, Loki chuckled at the thought, and realized how rude that was..."I apologize Eir'oki, it's just..My brother helped me find the path I'm on...however I killed him, and my other brother as well...."Loki said, he sounded both said and resigned. "I understand all to well, what you mean, yes I followed my father's footsteps, and surpassed them and made my own..larger imprint on the galaxy." Loki said simply, he also nodded at fear, but looked quizzically at Eir'oki at the word god.."God..I am sorry I do not understand your phrasing..." Loki said simply.

That was when a strange human like creature walked through the door. Loki stood and stared at him. Then when he heard the man speak into his mind Loki smiled, though Jedi and Sith called it force speak, it wasn't it was telepathy, the same was this. <<Greetings Scry, I am Loki.>> Loki said into the other beings mind just as solidly. <<It seems, your race is not alone in speaking telepathically, there are many races in my universe who can both verbalize speech, and talk like I am now.>> Loki nodded at Eir'Oki. "Interesting." He said, now giving the man a once over.

Don't worry about it. My point is, fear is a terrible plague- no matter what universe you're from.
Eir'Oki said, figuring to explain the concept of god would take hours- and with Scry here, he did not have that time. He noted the two making eye contact- or as much as Scry could manage, and realized they were talking exclusively to one another. Apparently the Calvadorian had been given permission to communicate properly- though Eir'Oki never really considered Scry, one to ask for permission. Scry- if you don't mind me asking, what's the metal band for?

<<How quaint. Universes have similarities...>>
Scry projected only to Loki. His mental voice wasn't condescending- but it did show that the Calvadorian wasn't nearly as interested in where Loki came from as Eir'Oki. Clearly, he had something else on his mind.
At the verbal question directed at him, Scry turned to face the Kyran swiftly, conveying his answer to everyone.

<<An angry Zocarian threw an orb lantern at my face while I was ...working... and the glass shattered. Needless to say- I was not paying sufficient attention to my surroundings. It isn't a problem. He won't be throwing things at me again.>>
Though the man's eyes had been seriously damaged, his cybernetic visor saw for him- and he really enjoyed the quizzical almost terrified look which flashed briefly across the Kyran's face as his imagination came up with all kinds of terrible things the Calvadorian might have done to his attacker.
In all truthfulness- the Zocarian got off easy. There was only so much an injured telepath could do in retaliation. It was good to see though- that he had built up such a powerful reputation, at least with this particular Kyran.
But his interested face suddenly flattened into a serious one.

<<Why am I here Eir'Oki?>>

um- I'm glad you're alright. Did you see who attacked you?
It really wasn't that Eir'Oki really cared about the Calvadorian, but the security officer in him wanted to know more details about the attack. Though- he did not expect the man to answer- indeed, he asked a question of his own.
Ah, yes- sorry. One of our scouts returned from surveying OraTel', a Shilor outpost in the northwest region. She was captured- but strangely enough....released. The Shilor do not release prisoners- This is an anomaly.

<<It was the Zocarian Prime Minister's son....if you must know.>>
Scry shot back in answer to who had attacked him. He seemed completely comfortable about the notion that such an important political figure saw it wise to assault him and interrupt what ever work he was doing, and furthermore the repercussions of engaging in an altercation with anyone in the Zocarian government did not seem to rattle him at all.
But his curious expression returned when Eir'Oki expressed the reason for calling him here. He listened in absolute silence then nodded slowly.

<<Intriguing... and you don't want word of this anomaly to spread. That would cause, undesirable repercussions for your war effort, yes?
Memory extraction?>>

If the Calvadorian had visible eyes, they would be wide with eagerness, almost to the point of disturbed insanity. As much as most Calvadorians wanted to stay a safe distance from other's mindscapes, Scry was manic about the prospect to explore, and eventually control the consciousness of other beings. The idea almost consumed him and the prospect of actually being asked to preform such invasive actions- legally? Was almost too enticing to pass up.
It had been an obsession which plagued him sense he was very young- eventually forcing him off the planet, which only led him to a fertile ground of fresh- much weaker minds to prey upon.
The only redeeming factor most people who knew him, saw- was that he was extremely good at his job and for all his faults- he was trustworthy.

Loki nodded and chuckled at the comment about universes, he figured there was still more differences to be found than similarities, between the two, he lost interest fast. But it was interesting that the Shilor released people, perhaps they where changing, who knew. Loki realized he hadn't eaten for days, but decided to wait and see what would be decided as far this new information regarding the Shilor. "Hmmm." Loki said aloud.

He began pacing. "Perhaps it is a trap, begin releasing prisoners, and lull you into a false sense of security, then when you send larger forces, destroy them all.." Loki mused, he paced back again and stood in front his seat, hand on chin. "I know I am but a Stranger, but I'd like to meet with this scout..." Loki sand looking at Eir'oki. "Perhaps she knows something we do not, perhaps she can give us a reason, and if not, I could see what she saw, she could be lying, or perhaps they have a telepath among them as well and they wiped her mind before sending her back?" Loki said quietly looking now at Scry. <<What say you?>> He asked in both their minds.

Absolutely not.
Eir'Oki answered Scry with a shocked expression. I don't want you tampering with her memories at all. I just want to get the information she's not telling anybody. The Kyran inwardly shuttered at allowing someone like Scry to actually manipulate another's mind, especially one of his own race. She did say they released her- under the pretense that she not reveal anything she saw or heard. She was even mostly uninjured. I can't imagine Shilor Zen'tier being so gentle with one of their captives- because they don't really take captives.

<<You people bore me>>
Scry said directing his thoughts to Eir'Oki- but still allowing both of them to hear it. He turned his face toward Loki, figuring the alien needed some explanation into the strangely inefficient culture of the Kyritians.
<<The people are strange here. They will not lie, not even to their enemies. To them it is a mark of stupidity. Apparently- if you cannot accomplish your goals without stooping to deceit- your not very intelligent. I don't agree. There's art in crafting a good lie- but at least it makes the Kyran and even the Shilor trustworthy.
He turned back to Eir'Oki with a perfectly disappointed look on his face. Calvadorians relied so much on nonverbal cues, that it was almost like if the emotion took physical form- it would look like Scry's face, for at least that moment.
<<So- rather than convincing her to lower her intelligence, you want me to rip the information out of her mind. That sounds respectful.

Eir'Oki shifted slightly as he listened to Loki's thoughts on the subject. The being certainly had military experience- as he had pointed out before, but he knew the scout would not give up any information she gave her word to protect- even if it meant setting them back a bit in the war. I'm not sure if talking to her would help-
He admitted- unaware of what Scry had told Loki telepathically. Eir'Oki looked at the Calvadorian sharply, as he spoke- no longer hiding the condescending tone from his mental words. That is exactly what I want you to do- And nothing more. She's not a criminal, she's a valuable ally. I don't want any of your trickery.

Oh please... I'm a professional.
Scry responded- looking hurt by the very valid accusation.
<<But honestly- I like the idea of the outlander having a go at her. It might be- entertaining, or more effective than my... methods.>>
He gave the Zabrak a curious glance- even through his visor, the curious emotion shrouded him. Apparently Scry's interests shifted quickly. He was very driven- but also very fickle.

Loki paced some more stopping and looking between the two. When Scry suggested he try and pry the memories from the scout, Loki nodded, then looked down at his feet, hand still on his chin."These people fascinate me." He said aloud to Scry. "Lying is overrated, I do however agree that there is art in lying, in subtly, it is after all the way of the Sith." Loki said simply. "I understand both reasoning's however I think it best to be practiced at both, if you are not overtly honest, your lies will never be taken for truth."

Then Scry suggested Loki try his hand, he suddenly looked up a wicked smile upon his harsh face, his fanged teeth showing, silver eye glinting. "I would love an opportunity to speak with her, I'm sure my methods would bring...Satisfactory results." Loki said the smile returning as he started pacing once more. "What say you, Eir'Oki, and
I'll gladly have you refrain from insulting my only friend in this universe Scry." Loki said looking at Scry still smiling.

Eir'Oki blinked a few times, looking between the two- one, with a disappointed face because he wasn't allowed to mangle someone else's mind, and the other- a strange, nearly frightening smile at the prospect of helping? He suddenly doubted the alien only intended to 'talk' to the scout. After all- he did say he use to be a Sith lord... and even though Eir'Oki wasn't quite sure of all that implied, he was certain it wasn't good.
I- well I don't see the harm in letting you talk to her.
Eir'Oki said flatly, then quickly added- But that's it- I don't want her harmed in any way- by either of you. It would be humiliating for her to share secrets she gave her word never to reveal, that's our culture. We accept that.
He frowned at Scry and shook his head. I did not ask you here. I'm merely your escort. Frankly- I personally wouldn't want you anywhere near her. He glanced at Loki And I'm not sure about you yet.
With a flustered sigh he motioned toward the door. Come on- we might as well all go then. Hesitating, he turned and looked at the Zabrak, a look of concern flashing to his eyes. Are you up for it? I understand if you'd rather rest. You've had a long day.

<<I am merely pointing out the hypocrisy bleeding through this conflict. I'm not insulting Eir'Oki. I'm insulting the entire planet.>>
Scry said with a shrug, exclusively to Loki. He lifted his hands and put his hood back over his head, obscuring his face and white hair.
<<Don't worry Eir'Oki. I do not harm my patients. Besides- this evening might end up being interesting even without my intervention.>>
