Loki frowned for a moment, then recovered nicely. He nodded at Scry, then looked as Eir'Oki. "Surely your culture understands that war is not a time to hold to one's beliefs. Especially when you can benefit your society, or perhaps even lead to a peaceful resolution between the two peoples, I know one thing to be true, though this is another universe, another planet, a new culture, one thing remains clear, War. War never changes." Loki said pointedly. "I am fine, I'll rest later, and yes Eir'oki I only intend to speak with her. I will know if she is lying, telling the truth, or neither." Loki said simply. "Sith always know when they are lied to." Loki said sighing."I will not torture her, Eir'Oki, On my bond with Anna, I give you my word." Loki said touching a spot next to his second heart.

Eir'Oki seemed to relax at Loki's reassurance, even though he seemed to drift back and forth between the Sith and no longer Sith attitudes. Perhaps a past life just took time to die- or perhaps Loki had retained some of this beliefs and practices, like the lightning. As they descended the lift and left their inner building, the temperature dropped slightly- and outside the simi clear exterior walls, ice could be seen in long white spiderwebs caressing the large structure. Where once was a bustling street outside- only thick snow and sheets of ice rested, lit by two small silver moons in the sky.
The two internal buildings were lit however- and people meandered between them, like a single city block- contained in a protective dark glass shell from the frigged outside elements.

I'm sorry if our ways are strange to you. The Shilor adhere to the same principals about truthfulness- at least, we've never seen anything on the contrary. I suppose it would strike you as strange- two enemies trusting one another, but still fighting. Trust, and peace are far from the same thing.
Eir'Oki frowned, glancing over at Scry, then back at Loki.
It's just this way. He said, leading them into the second building. Several of the meandering Kyran stopped and flashed their orange eyes at them curiously.

Each time someone's eyes passed over Scry, the Calvadorian stiffened, and pulled his hood further down over his face, obscuring it as much as possible from view.
<<It really doesn't make much sense. You could have won this war eons ago. You do understand that, right? Honesty is a great virtue- but so is avoiding genocide.>>
For a moment, the Calvadorian actually seemed like the famed diplomats his race was known for producing. But he shrugged indifferently.
<<It really doesn't matter to me. Yours is the las true war in the system- unless the Var actually do something interesting like they keep hinting at. War might be devastating- but it's also extremely profitable.

"Not strange, just different." Loki said smiling at Eir'oki, Loki noticed that people seemed to be staring at them, though perhaps more so at Scry? Strange to think that the alien among them, from another galaxy would draw less attention then someone from a nearby world. Loki wondered what this woman would say. He wondered why she was released if the Shilor kept no prisoners, and never released them, what was the purpose of this? A ruse it had to be a ruse, or someone or something was changing how the Shilor looked at the war. Scry was talking to him, explaining war Loki chuckled aloud. "Yes war is profitable, but it is also the loss of something priceless, souls." Loki said simply as they entered another building. Loki was amazed to realize the same carbon that Eir could create was the same as in the building's construction what a fascinating race.

<<Souls....The universe keeps making new ones,>>
Scry commented, matter a factly.
<<Just like your planet keeps making new Shilor.>>

Eir'Oki grumbled slightly as he opened the door and led them into the second building. This one was far less closed in and had a center column, opened at the top to allow light to filter in- at least during the day. It was almost like a plaza- sporting an artistic looking fountain in the center. Though, the art stile was still sharp, and angular- like the race, and it was crafted mostly out of the same carbonic crystal the buildings were. But it was far more detailed than the straight sides of a building. But everything else in the building was computer terminals, large viewing screens, and lots of activity.
Welcome to one of the command centers. I'm almost never here, but I do know where I'm going.
They took a life up a few floors and approached a room, with a door partly recessed into the wall. Gently, Eir'Oki tapped on the door, and after hearing a female voice from within, he placed his hand on the door's front. A different symbol flashed orange in the center of the door, and it slid opened to show a nicely sized room with a cot on the side and what looked like a security camera blinking in the corner. The room was well lit.
Hey Nolinay. How are you?

Been better...
The woman said. She sat on the cot, running a hand through a long waterfall of shining obsidian hair, pulling it back behind her pointed ear. She glanced at the others with cautious eyes, and a frown adorned her ebony face.
Who are your colleagues?
She asked, tilting her head.

Scry removed his hood, and turned his head to face the woman. By the sudden narrowed look on her face and the oh so subtle flinch, he did not need an introduction. He recognized this scout- and from the looks of it, she very much recognized him. This day was getting so much more interesting. The Calvadorian offered her a thin smile, an assuring look she absolutely wouldn't believe- then gave up at looking nice and shrugged.

<<Would you like yours to be replaced?>> Loki said, it would come off as subtle a mere whisper and it was directed to both Eir'oki and Scry. It was both a threat and a joke. He sensed that Scry was not used to someone being able to communicate back with him, or the subtle power behind Loki's mental abilities, that more than likely mirrored his own. Loki glanced at the being and smirked then as they entered the room he spotted the female Kyran.

"Hello, Noilinay? Was it?" Loki said pleasantly. Walking forward and bowing to her. "I am Loki, I am an outworlder from another galaxy. I would like to speak to you about your experience." Loki said, though charm wasn't in his repertoire, he was trying to be pleasant, deciding that Scry could be the royal pain if he so wished. "Tell me what you can, or are willing to as dictated by your beliefs." Loki said stepping back and waiting smiling as pleasantly as he could.

Is this your idea of a joke, Eir'Oki?
Nolinay asked sharply, narrowing her eyes at the Zabrak's motions then flashing her orange orbs in her fellow Kyran's direction.
Is this guy suppose to scare me into telling you my information? And if that doesn't work, you dragged that Calvadorian into this? She glared daggers at Eir'Oki and crossed her arms. And here I thought we were friends.

Uh, no... no that's not it at all.
Eir'Oki said, suddenly very nervous- more nervous than he ever had been wile talking to Loki or Scry.
Loki wanted to meet you. He found your story interesting...and Scry? Well- That wasn't my call...
He said, peering at the woman like she might jump off the cot and attack him. Don't be upset. We're all very thankful you were returned to us safely.

Yea- so you lock me up and keep me from doing my job. I get it.
Nolinay muttered and glanced up at the security camera, relaxing just a bit. I really do get it. It's not every day someone comes face to face with the Shilor and lives to tell about it...

<<Or, not tell about it.>>
Scry mused aloud with a shake of his head.
<<As much as all of you are desperately wanting my company, I think I'll excuse myself until I'm actually needed>>
He turned his attention to Loki with an impressed smile.
<<Perhaps one day I'll give you the opportunity to try. Be alert. Don't take anyone's kindness blindly- we are all demons here.>>
With that, the Calvadorian excused himself, pulling his hood back over his head and leaving the room.

<<I'll be right at home.>> Loki retorted before turning his full attention to Holinay. "I have a name." Loki said suddenly, he seemed much less pleasant now that Scry was gone. "It is Loki, please do not refer to me as guy again, I assure you I will become most unpleasant if you do." Loki said quietly looking at Eir'oki. "So you are friends? Well then, tell us what you know Holinay, please. It is strange that after two Millennia of war, that now they release a prisoner? Don't you your self find that strange?" Loki said pacing back and forth in front of her. "What has changed, you promised not to tell, yet it could end the war, does not peace come before belief? At least in this sense?" Loki asked nodding at her. "But I understand, your honesty is to be commended." He added thoughtfully, the threat moments before now replaced by pleasant inquiry. "You promised not to tell your people, I however, am not your people, therefore you would be breaking no promise, oath, and will not have lied.." He said at last standing before her.

Eir'Oki relaxed considerably as soon as the Calvadorian had left. For a moment, he felt a little sorry that Scry was so unwanted, but then recalled that he absolutely brought that upon himself.
But now, it seemed, that the stubborn scout was faced with someone just as hard headed as she was, and he made a very good point. While honesty was paramount to the Kyritian culture, it had limits, like practical applications. Both races could be very sly with their words. A Kyran could walk into a Shilor settlement and give his word not to harm anyone- but that didn't mean the army following him wouldn't do it for him.
Likewise, she had told the enemy she would not speak of her encounter with the Kyran, even adding in writing or telepathy.
But Loki was not a Kyran.

I think- I'll excuse myself as well.
Eir'Oki said gently, feeling that this might just be successful- without any mental probing at all. And that was truly waht he wanted.
Good luck.
He said to the Zabrak, as he calmly slipped out of the door and closed it behind him.

Nolinay scoffed as Loki spoke to her, with a threatening tone. He was a sensitive one, wasn't he? He thought his name was so important. She supposed she could be alright with that. She hated her name, given to her by a psychopathic mother- who's name ironically did not match her personality what so ever. Nolinay- no mercy. Perhaps a few weeks ago that might have been true, but now- she was not so sure.
With a huff, she lifted her thin ebony hand and shot a concentrated ball of orange energy at the blinking security camera in the corner.

He's an idiot if he thinks I'm just going to let myself be recorded like that.
She said, folding her arms and leaning back against the bleak dark wall of what she considered to be her prison. They had claimed it was for her protection- but she highly doubted it.
Sorry for being so uh, sharp. I've had a long couple of days. I didn't expect to be snatched up and stuffed in a tiny room after hiking through no man's land at night.. The whole situation's put me on edge. Part of me would rather just go back to the Shilor. At least I know what to expect from them.
She closed her eyes and took in a deep, calming breath. Your reasoning is commendable- but... If I tell you anything, you're obviously just going to pass my information on. And I.....I can't let that happen.
She sounded more firm in this, as if her information was more important to her than just her honor. Truthfully... I don't want the Kyran to find out what happened to me. I promise, It may end the war- but not because of peace....

Loki nodded at Eir'oki, in all honesty he was glad the strange man was gone. He hoped his logic proved useful to Holinay. If it didn't he would simply have to go to the same place she was captured her self..A daunting yet not impossible task. The Kyran where terrified of the Shilor, but Loki feared nothing in this world. He looked at Holinay and smiled again, sitting in the available chair. "Three days ago, by my estimation, I was fifty billion light years from here, give or take." Loki said simply. "So I understand your sharpness. Trails make us stronger yes?" Loki said pleasantly as she shot the security camera, he smiled he liked her, she seemed fiercer, more warrior like than Eir'oki not that Eir'oki didn't have charm as far as this race could be charming he supposed, but this woman, she had style and charm, and Loki's warrior spirit could feel the kinship. "I don't work for your government or your people, or that other man, I'm an outlander, I asked to speak to you out of curiosity. I am a long way from home." He said simply. "What have the Shilor discovered? A new weapon? A new power? There must possibly be something I can do to gain this information, I will tell you now, I am large fish in a new pond, and while I fear no living thing, I do fear I will never see my friends again.." Loki said finally. "And I think maybe the Shilor may be the key to my salvation actually both your peoples, I believe I was sent here for a reason, even if I was forced into a portal by an enemy..." Loki said at last looking at Holinay his silver eye blinking the cybernetic glowing faintly she could see the silvery object strapped to her built in a cylindrical shape, there was another longer one on the otherside, and another two more on his back if she had noticed while he paced.

Destiny?
Nolinay said, narrowing her eyes skeptically.
Why do you think destiny sent you here? To end the war? She laughed but it was a bitter laugh, holding no pleasure or mocking intention within it. Sighing she composed herself and blinked back up at the taller man.
There's a whole coalition of planets in this system who have tried to stop the fighting- tried to change both of our military's minds. It's become routine, common. The moment a war becomes 'normal' it becomes accepted- and then, it becomes impossible to end.
She glanced back at the door, expecting someone to inter. The idea made her tense. Truthfully she never once seemed to relax. Perhaps it was her life as a scout. Perhaps it was the secrets she was hiding. I've never been off the planet. I do suppose I'd miss it if I had to leave- despite the war. This place is home. I hope you find your way back to yours.
She looked directly at him now, her eyes becoming very serious. If you do not work for the Kyran- can I trust you... not to speak of what I am going to tell you? Not even to Eir'Oki? He's a good guy, but he wouldn't understand. None of them will. She took in a stabilizing breath, and let it out slowly. The Shilor haven't created some new weapon. I doubt they would have released me if they had. It's difficult to remain quiet though....Will you keep my secret?

Loki laughed in her face, he didn't mean to he realized she didn't know yet, his laugh was an almost musical sound, and after her laughter it must have come as a surprise. "Nolinay, I have subjugated, more planets than are in this system, and fought on twice that many." He said simply. "The force, is a strange thing, if it guided me here, as I believe what else can it be than to end the war, by one means, or another." He said with a frown. "I understand the Shilor.." He said quietly, he could feel their motivation, their reasoning. "I owe no allegiance to anyone here but my self and the force." Loki said simply. Her worriedness worried him to no end. "I give you my word Nolinay, I will not betray your trust under pain of death." He said at last, sealing the oath. If she knew his history she would know, that he did not make oaths lightly.

whole planets? Certainly you had an army behind you.
Nolinay said as the being laughed. She shrugged her shoulders and closed her eyes. It would be interesting though- I don't know what this Force is you're talking about, but if it could help you concur this planet- I'd be impressed.
Opening her eyes, she listened to Loki as he spoke of keeping her promise. Her sharp expression softened slightly and she looked at the ground, her voice becoming softer.
It was dark- and I was on the outskirts of the Shilor outpost. That's when I lost my footing and slid down ravine. It was stupid- ended up holding onto a ledge till morning. When I found a rope let down for me- and climbed to the top, I was shocked that my rescuer was a Shilor. He saw me before I reached him. He could have cut the rope or let go- but he didn't.
She glanced away from Loki and frowned deeply. Had it been a Zen'tier- a uh, Shilor soldier, there's no doubt in my mind I'd be dead right now- but he was just a civilian. Ora'tal isn't just a military installation. It's a settlement. They... they were kind to me, despite who I was. They treated my injuries I sustained from the fall. Even when I met with the commander there- he told me they would let me go, should I not reveal anything I saw there.
She closed her eyes with an unstable sigh. But the Kyran army won't care about the families there- They'll see mutants who need to be destroyed completely, just like I did only a few days ago. So- Even if I didn't give my word of silence, I still wouldn't want anything to happen to them- especially the one who saved me. They're absolutely not the heartless killers everyone thinks they are, and I don't know whether to feel comforted by that- or appalled that I once thought like everyone around me. I can't even look at my own people the same way anymore. We're all monsters.
She hung her head in shame, clasping her hands together tightly, fighting with strange emotions of regret and even anger.

Loki nodded at her comments about an army, an army was an understatement, he most likely had a fleet containing the amount of people on this planet. He pursed his lips in concentration. reflecting as he spoke that the Shilor didn't sound so bad. And her affection for the male that had saved her was interesting. But he understood all too well her meaning, he owed his life, this new life both figuratively and literally to so many people, it was far more enriching. That's what the Kyran's were missing, that feeling of enrichment. "I know what it's like to viewed as a monster, a demon, but those are relative terms, for Kryat dragon is a demon to Tuskans, but Tuskans are demons to settlers." Loki said simply He hoped she would understand his meaning. "The Shilor are people too, Nolinay, so are you. Perhaps both sides are misguided in this what is becoming apparent to me useless slaughter, on both sides." He emphasized he could see her sadness and despair, the guilt and regret. "Don't feel too bad, you are feeling emotions about people you were told not to, don't fret. It's a good thing." He said lastly and as an after thought. "Please, though tell me what you saw, what made you say that it could end the war?" He said now.

She relaxed slightly with a slow nod. I just feel- like, I should have never thought of them like mistakes. That's what they are to the Kyran- mistakes. We don't tolerate mistakes. She frowned and glanced at her hands. I've killed them- not hundreds like some Kyran soldiers boast about it, but enough and now...now they will haunt me. I asked a lot of questions, and got a lot of answers. The Shilor are just trying to defend themselves. Even in our records- they haven't attacked first. With a sigh, she leaned back against the wall. Which leads me to believe that even if they did surrender- we'd just kill them. I don't think this war will ever end. Not so long as my people see the Shilor as dangerous mistakes.
She looked at him as he spoke about what she saw which could end the war. Nolinay's face tightened and she glanced at the door again skeptically before looking back at the Zabrak.
You are a telepath... I sensed it when you spoke with Scry silently- so you might understand. She considered for a moment, on the best way of explaining what she wanted to. The Shilor, like us, are very scientifically minded. We seek genetic perfection- They just want to survive, but because we far outnumber them, they've had to adapt. They have a highly advanced army- selectively bread and modified to become the most efficient warriors. They're practically emotionless, and extremely calculating. I'm sure Eir'Oki told you about their energy shifters, if you two talked about the war at all. One of them killed his brother. She hesitated, checking to see if Loki was understanding what she was saying before continuing. They're so powerful, that the Shilor have appointed strong telepaths of their race to control them to a degree- We knew this already... what we didn't know was how.
She lowered her eyes and took in a breath. But I know now. It's a puzzle we've been trying to find out for centuries- and the answer is so simple. The Shilor soldiers are so cleverly designed to take orders that- if done correctly, we could turn their own army against them. The war would be over in a matter of weeks, every one of them dead- killed by their own defenders.
She shuttered at the thought. How can I tell anyone that? After what I've seen. After what I've learned of the Shilor?

Loki turned and looked at the door. Her words haunted them, using the Shilor against themselves. Loki sighed deeply and looked at Nolinay. "Can you get me to the settlement?" He asked quickly. Looking at the door and then at the smoldering camera device. "We have to protect the Shilor, we cannot tell your people about this, they must never find out." Loki said quickly."We must find another way to end the war. The Shilor have has much right as any of us to live." Loki said angrily. The Shilor were defenders, not antagonist's like he first believed.

Loki walked close to Nolinay."Do you agree? I once would have freely given your people that info, but now, not who I am." He said simply, he truly had changed, oh the darkside was his weapon it was his life blood, but for the betterment of people not the destruction of life. Not anymore. "We can figure something out..Will be attacked if we approach the settlement? I will kill anyone who attacks us..I will have no choice..." Loki said simply." But that is until I make them surrender and they let me talk to them.." Loki said quietly, his mind whirled, but the girl was not lying. She spoke the truth. Sith always knew lies, and while it might be a clever ruse, he doubted it. She was to sincere, but what if it was a false belief lead to entrap a large group of Kyrans, but that would be an offensive attack, it causes against their strategy...

Nolinay sighed and relaxed, a grateful look coming to her face as the Zabrak agreed with her- and more so, wanted to help. She took in a breath to steady herself and then spoke.
I can get you there... but they won't let me leave without divulging something informative- that's my job.
Her eyes suddenly widened and she reached out, taking hold of the Zabrak's large shoulders with both of her hands, and looking seriously into his eyes. There's only one reason Scry is here. If I won't tell them what they want to know- he will take it from me. They know how protected my mind can be. That's why they had to get outside help.
She shuttered at the thought and then closed her eyes. So- so you'll have to do it first. Can you? Can you take my memories of what happened? All of them?. I feel your energy. You're stronger than the Calvadorian. I- am not. Just don't take my memory of you. I never thought someone would believe me. I don't want to loose that confidence.

Loki nodded. "I need contact.." He said holding up his hands and smiling at her. Then he placed his hands on her temples, her skin was surprisingly warm. "It might sting, and you will all your memories of me, accept these, I will reinforce them, with friendship and trust." He said, then he dived in, literally immersing himself in her mind, he was shifting, he saw the fall down the cliff, the rope. The Shilor, the conversations, the location, how she went home, not to hard, but many many miles from here, hundreds if not thousands. Then her placement here, the things she had discovered came next, the round of questioning by different people. Suddenly he "Crushed" These memories making them wink after he absorbed the knowledge, once they where gone they could not be returned, he did this to the rest but leaving his. He crafted memories of the early talk with Scry and Eir'oki present, but deleted her thoughts during that time. Then he pulled out breathing heavily."Nolinay?" He asked quiet.

The Kyran flinched when Loki touched her- then, as he entered her mind, her eyes widened, but she did not struggle. Barriers that would have been formidable if not irritating for Loki to have to battle through, fell as she opened her mind to him.
Her body stiffened before he finally pulled away and she blinked a few times, looking at him in confusion.

Loki... She murmured. We- we are friends. She said with a hint of finality to it, as if reasserting the fact within her own mind.
Suddenly there was another knock on the door and Nolinay jumped slightly, as if suddenly becoming aware of where she was.

Is everything alright in there?
Eir'Oki's voice sounded worried, but he refrained from opening the door just yet- respectfully waiting on them to answer.

Nolinay blinked, glancing around quickly before resting her eyes back on Loki.
Is....everything alright?
She asked, with full understanding that she wasn't sure what had just happened- yet trusting him to be truthful with her.

"Yes, Eir'oki, everything is fine, Nolinay refuses to break her beliefs, she won't trust me, even within the parameters I set." Loki said a cast fallen look crossing his harsh features. "However, we have an understanding, Nolinay here has decided to take me on a scouting mission with her. And Perhaps I can discover these. Merciful Shilor." Loki said standing back and putting his hand on Nolinay's shoulder.

"I think its a grand idea personally...we can accomplish so much if I were to see the field of battle..I would very much like to cross blades with these monsters.." Loki said viciously.

Eir'Oki opened the door- to find the alien and the scout.
I'm glad you've come to an agreement. He said, a gentle smile coming to hid dark features. I told you she wouldn't break her word. Don't feel to bad about it.
As the two left the room- they would be greeted by not only the familiar face of Eir'Oki, and the blank, somewhat cautious expression of Scry- but also a very intrigued presence, standing there expectantly.

The third was yet another Kyran- but a good bit taller than Eir'Oki, closer to Loki's height. And unlike Eir'Oki, he wore a full set of black plated armor, the pieces moving together seamlessly, as if each section were part of every other. His silver black hair hung down his shoulders, parted perfectly in the center, and his chiseled face held a more rugged appearance than Eir'Oki's. He nodded to the Zabrak as he exited with Nolinay, and listened to Loki's proposal before speaking.
I agree with the outlander. We're often incline to keep others out of our planetary affairs- but if he's curious, why not oblige him?
The newcomer's voice held a commanding tone of absolution as he spoke- turning his vivid ember eyes toward Loki and extending his gauntleted hand.
Greetings to you, traveler. I am Kyratorix- high commander of the Kyran military.
He looked passively at Nolinay, narrowing his eyes slightly. After hearing about Nolinay's interesting story- and a visitor from another universe, I really had to come investigate.

Nolinay looked around, catching the narrowed expression of Kyratorix and stiffening slightly. She listened to Loki and for a moment, felt very confused. But- apparently the alien was attempting some kind of scouting mission. She remembered that she supposedly had information her people wanted to know of- but now that she considered it, she couldn't remember what that information was.
So she chose to play along.

I cannot reveal my information...which is why- I figure it would be alright to let someone else... learn what I have- on their own.
She said, hoping to sound confidant, even though confusion rippled within her.

Scry turned his expression to Nolinay for a moment- peering at her with interest hidden behind his visor. He withstood the urge to reach out telepathically- at least, not yet. Something felt strange, and he was eager to figure out what it was.
<<That sounds like a sound idea, and considering we all agree- I think they deserve an escort>>
Scry said, sounding helpful. His expression turned sharply toward the Zabrak, as if to silently ask- 'what the hell did you do?'
