Loki nodded at Kyrotorix. So this was Eir'oki's father. Interesting. A proud man. He was almost even with Loki in terms of height."I am Loki, of Iridonia and , I think perhaps there is a secret that could end the war there." Loki said simply. Smiling at the man, he hoped the ruse was working, Sith were subtle liars, even the weakest lies sounded like truth from their lips, almost like a second language. He looked at Scry and nodded, but did not respond. "How many men may I take?" Loki asked. "If I am permitted of course, and I ask that Nolinay accompany me. "Eir'oki, you and your people are stubborn but admirable in your connection to truth, and honesty even with enemies, strangers and your own connections." Loki said, then Scry spoke into their minds and shot him a look. Loki responded with a mental shrug. "Well what say you Kyratorix! Well you lend me some men and, if I do not discover this secret, I will slaughter the Shilor their and bring back the commanders head as proof of my new found loyalty to your war effort." Loki said, another blistering lie, but it was needed, he had to see what was out there..he hoped they wouldn't be attacked. |

Eir'Oki smiled thinly at Loki with a proud nod. He liked the newcomer. Even with all the being's power and past of ruling worlds, Eir'Oki hadn't felt diminished by him- which was often rare in his case. He never said it, but he wasn't exactly high on the social latter, especially with his father around. It's something that sets us apart from the other races in Alnar. He said with a firm nod. His stance seemed to get a little straighter- taller when standing anywhere near Kyratorix- but it was probably a subconscious motion. <<Very true. You all know I'm a lire- It always baffles me that I'm asked back all the time>> Scry conveyed, glancing over at Eir'Oki and giving him a perfectly devious smile. And Loki said something about ending the war? What? How would he know that and why, unless... Nolinay DID tell him something. The Colvadorian looked in their general direction, then stared hard at Nolinay, his smile falling to a flat line as he spoke to her mind- and her mind only. <<Do you recall- the last time you withheld information from me?>> And that was really all he had to say. She'd get the point. But he wasn't about to let Loki get away with this unscathed- absolutely not. Looking at Kyratorix, the Calvadorian spoke to everyone again. <<Regardless of my smaller intellect- this brave offworlder has no idea of the terrain- or the Shilor themselves. I saw we give him more than just an escort. I was thinking more of- a division of 20 men?>> Against an unknown Shilor force? Kyratorix scoffed with a shake of his head. I was thinking an army. We'd be sending one there anyway, within the next few rotations- why wait? <<Ahm- because small Shilor outposts tend to have nasty surprises...>> The Calvadorian responded with just as much zeal as the Kyran commander. He glanced over at Loki with a sly grin before snapping his fingers and chiming into their minds again. <<I've got it! We'll send them two surprises. The offworlder- and you- You should go with them High Commander. Show Loki what a real Kyran battle looks like. He knows war- he may be impressed... maybe. Scry tilted his head, almost a goading expression on his face. He'd made the alien's impression, something which needed to be earned, crafting a sly challenge out of the Zabrak without Loki even saying a word, and because the Kyran were so bloody egotistical- Kyratorix would have no choice but to oblige. Kyratorix suddenly struck Scry a piercing glance, a dangerous glint flashing through his eyes. Be careful Calvadorian- There is no 'we' here. This is not your war. You were here to fulfill a task- unfortunately, another opportunity has come up. I apologize for your inconvenience. Go with Eir'Oki. He'll make sure you're well compensated before you leave the planet. Scry instantly looked put off. He frowned in annoyance and shrugged his shoulders as if the comments did not at all sting- but his face was absolutely stung. He straightened, nodded to them all, gave a sharp glance to Loki and turned around. Clasping his hands at the small of his back- the Calvadorian walked down the hall toward the lift, not bothering to actually respond. He really didn't feel like crossing minds with the Zabrak, and he had probably already pushed his luck a little too far. Eir'Oki sighed deeply as Scry brushed pas him. He shook his head and shrugged his shoulders as he looked at Loki with a half smile. I better go take care of that- but I wanted you to know, it was a very interesting evening. A refreshing deviation from my normal boring day. He said with a nod. And when you return, my place is always opened to you. Cirel He said with a respectful nod, before turning and hurrying after the indigent Calvadorian. |

Loki stared at Scry for a moment, then nodded at Eir'oki. "It's not the only that sets you apart, friend." Loki said smiling back at him. Loki decided that Scry was out for blood. And as Loki heard him speak again, then watched as his smile faded. Well that was interesting, and what happened next, made Loki go wide eyed for a moment. But then Kyrantorix stepped in, and seemed to put Scry back in his place. Loki smiled at Scry and then at Eir'oki, that look his father gave Scry was a bit testy, he wondered how often Eir'oki had seen it directed at him, Eir'oki still had a tight posture, and Loki respected the impression he was trying to make. Loki liked this man. When Scry heard the worsts spoken he seemed upset. And Loki sneered as he spoke only to the beings mind. <<I told you, I too am a Demon..A must cunning one...>> It faded out like a whisper as you walked away, with the ghost of a laugh at the end, almost like Loki knew what the being had been up to, and was happy he had been thwarted. One did not enter into these proceedings with a Sith, if one did not understand Sith. |

Thanks... Nolinay murmured, glancing between the Zabrak and Kyratorix. She blinked a few times and straightened up again. There were still some blank spots in her mind- but for some reason, she felt like that was alright- like there was a purpose to the holes, even though she couldn't quote recall what that purpose was exactly. I never really liked Scry that much. She said, with a little more boldness to her voice. Scry has always been far too eager to insert himself too far in other's affairs. He is a poor representation of his people, and for that, I must apologize. Kyratorix said, regarding both of them for the briefts of moments, with an apologetic look- but it passed quickly. He looked to Loki with a curious expression. Eir'Oki told me what little he knew about your accomplishments, and while I'm incline to believe him- regretfully, I do not know you. His expression remained just as serious- giving the impression that Loki could make what ever he wished out of Kyratorix' mistrust, and it wouldn't really phase the Commander. He was a man of steady decision. He had to be, especially in a time of war. And while I would enjoy leading my men into battle for your curiosity, I must remain here to plan for a much larger assault on the Shilor capital. What I will do, is send you with one of my trusted generals- and a battalion of men. And wish you good luck. He looked skeptically at Nolinay for a brief moment before finishing. You know where to find Sol'torin. Tell him to rally his men and be ready to move on Ora'tel within the hour. He hesitated, narrowing his eyes. And do try to bring back some useful information. Turning his attention back to Loki, Kyratorix gave the Zabrak a firm nod. I look forward to hearing your impressions upon your return, Cirel. With that, the turned abruptly and walked away in measured strides. Nolinay relaxed instantly, as soon as the Commander had left the area. Closing her eyes she frowned slightly. Well- this wasn't really what I had in mind at all... She muttered, pursing her lips and looking thoughtful. At least Scry isn't breathing down my neck. Sol'torin is a lot easier to deal with. You just make him mad and he ignores you. A thin smile came to her face as she shook her head. She wasn't expecting to bring a whole group of soldiers with them- but she supposed they had to make the best of the situation, at least to dodge suspicion. |

Loki nodded at Kyratorix but didn't respond merely bowing respectfully in Sith manner. He looked then at Eir'Oki and then at Nolinay who seemed to be regaining some of your normal attitude. Then at last they where alone in the commonway. "Nolinay, we will surely be attacked, if we have an army with us." He said placidly. But then he looked at her and noticed her resolve and she mentioned the commander they would be meeting with. "Lead the way, and perhaps we can find a way to figure this out..If not I have a plan." Loki said simply. His lies had made things harder, but it had gotten Nolinay out from under the eye of scrutiny, which was better than before. They could end the war, then people like Eir'oki and Nolinay could be free, perhaps to find new friends among the Shilor and other malcontents within the Kyran people, they couldn't be the only ones who could be hoping for a peaceable resolution... |

Nolinay snorted slightly as Loki spoke of being attacked. She shook her head and beckoned for the Zabrak to follow her. We'd be attacked without an army. My situation was truly a fluke. What ever my feelings toward the Shilor are- their outposts are guarded constantly by a fanatical perimeter of Zen'tier. She shrugged her shoulders as they came upon a set of double doors. They might not attack you- but if I'm with you. Well. We wouldn't make it very far. With that, she pushed both doors opened flamboyantly and called out a string of her language- the only distinguished word being Sol'torin. The several Kyran solders congregated behind the door stopped what they were doing and peered at Nolinay for a brief moment- turning their eyes to Loki quickly, and then resumed their tasks one by one. A few hesitated because- obviously none of them had seen someone who looked quite like Loki before. Nolinay turned her attention to Loki, speaking to him quickly. He's kind of a jerk- so, don't take anything he says seriously, and don't let him make you think you're under his command. He's got this weird delusion... Tal? Nolinay's words were cut off by a sharp sounding word, in question. Approaching them was someone looking a lot like Kyratorix, but not nearly as refined. He was notably younger- if one was good at spotting the subtle details of the acute ageing which was visible in the race. His black metallic hair was cut short- and he was more heavily build than Kyratorix- a little taller too. He looked down at Nolinay with what seemed like constant agrivation behind his flaming eyes- unlike Kyratorix' calm, glowing coll like gaze. This Kyran was definitely more volatile. This better be important. It is- Don't worry. Kyratorix sends his regards. He wants your men ready within the hour. We're headed to Ora'tel. Nolinay said, crossing her arms and putting up a very strong demeanor. She was just a scout, and absolutely did not outrank him- however, she knew in order to get something done, especially around here, one had to act like they knew what they were doing- even though, inwardly, she was doubting everything she said. Sol'torin narrowed his eyes doubtfully- then looked at the other standing next to the scout. Loki stood a few inches taller than Sol'torin, but looked more solid, and the strange energy rippling off the alien gave the Kyran general pause. And who are you? He asked gruffly. |

Loki watched the interchange between Nolinay and the men near the doors, and that they eyed him for a moment, then a crisp commanding younger Kyran walked forward. He asked Nolinay what she wanted and when she gave the command the mon seemed off put by her actions. "I am Loki, an outworlder, and I have been given this mission by your commander Kyrantorix." Loki said menacingly. Then he strode forward and looked down at Sol'torin, measuring him. "I sense you are a man of action, but also of a posturing sort." Loki said somberly as his eyes focused once more on the Kyran's. "I will not stand for your posturing, your gruffness or your attitude, are we clear? And as for Nolinay, she will answer to me and me alone, also clear? Or do I need to prove that I am much more dangerous than anything you've met in this universe, or the next." Loki said the last with venom, as the "Ripple" Around him increased, at least as far as this world could see the force. |

Nolinay isn't even in my company. Sol'torin said with a narrowed expression. He looked at the scout with a shrug before turning his full attention back to the Zabrak. I won't fight you on that- but, I will also make one thing clear. While you may have my superior's favor- I have command of this unit. If you truly are stepping into battle with us, your best chance for survival is to listen to me. And he genuinely believed what he said. He regarded the newcomer with an uneasy respect though. Loki was powerful. Of that- Sol'torin did not doubt, but the offworlder had never come face to face with their enemy. Though- if you can't handle my superior understanding in these matters, perhaps we should just stay out of eachother's way. I'll let Nolinay educate you. He waved a hand dismissively before turning to his men and walking off to organize them. He looked back at the two briefly. We leave in half an hour- flying out of transport bay 7-alpha. Don't be late. I'd hate our new friend to miss all the fun. Nolinay frowned shaking her head. Yea- I'm glad I'm not in your company. She spat back at Sol'torin indignantly. She silenced herself as he addressed Loki, and already felt tension between them. After Sol'torin left, Nolinay sighed deeply and looked over toward the Zabrak. We best just go with them, as unhelpful as that sounds. If we try to go on foot, they'll pass us overhead. Motioning toward the door, she began walking, speaking quieter to Loki. At least if we're with them- I could ... maybe, accidentally launch a premature flare or something. Then the Shilor would know we were coming. Maybe they won't stab us too much. |

Loki snarled at the man, and pointed a robotic finger tip at him, the metal casing was black, but it was in contrast to the red digits next to them. "I have survived far worse than your creations." Loki spat. "I have survived things that would make your people, and the Shilor cower in fear." Loki said, he said it with conviction, he said it with the utmost honesty. He had no fear, and he had yet to meet an enemy worthy in combat of making him afraid, the closest thing that had ever come was The Array, and breaking him was easier than making him afraid for it was not fear. The Kyran commander would have noticed then that while Loki spoke and stared at him, his eye the one that wasn't a cybernetic construct. Flashed between a sickening yellow shot with blood to pure silver and back again, before settling on silver. Loki spat at the Kyran's feet and turned towards Nolinay. "You said make him angry, so I think its done." The commander had stomped off in a huff after Loki's display. "I agree Nolinay, I feel like perhaps we should launch that flare early it is a marvel idea, but perhaps I should be the one..My ingnorance of your technology could lead to the launch of the flare. It's more plausible than a trained scout doing it yes?" Loki asked, gone was the fearless demeanor and snarling monster that had yelled at the commander moments before... |

Nolinay blinked as Sol'torin walked away and Loki took her information literally. Um- Well. That's normally in extreme cases- if you want him to ignore you. She shrugged with a shake of her head as they walked down the hall and then onto a lift, riding it to the bottom floor. I mean- I suppose if that was your goal, then you did a pretty good job. Se he modified her plan, Nolinay smiled thinly and nodded. If you'd rather get yelled at- by all means. It makes sense, I suppose. I just don't want them to think you're secretly allied with the Shilor. That might be- problematic for you. She hesitated and held up her hands. I know- I know, you're a big dangerous alien- but ask the Shilor. You really don't want the Kyran as your enemy, especially if you're attempting to get home. She looked seriously at Loki, as they reached a set of doors leading out into Turar's streets. She paused. Night on this planet is very very cold. Most visitors find it uncomfortable or dangerous. Are you alright? She asked- suddenly remembering that he wasn't like her. She'd almost forgotten that not only did he come from another planet- but also, another universe. |

Loki nodded at her, as he processed all that she had said and they entered the lift. "Nolinay.." He said at last. "I don't think there is a way home, not unless your people or one of the other peoples of this universe have invented hyper drives yet, and it would take hundreds of years even then to get home." He said sagely. He did not say anything but he internally pitied the Kyran that yelled at him, as for making enemies with the Kyran he couldn't care less, he wasn't about to choose sides, as crazy as it was this former Sith lord was gonna push for peace, to try and find a way to make that happened, it seemed like the Shilor were already making inroads to changing. Perhaps the Kyran could be made to feel the same way. Who knew. "How cold? Like as cold as Hoth at night? Hoth is very cold, ice covered even. I did a year of training there." He said not adding any color to the comment looking at her perplexed expression. "I don't mind cold." He clarified for her. |

Nolinay frowned as he spoke of not finding a way home. There may be other ways between universes. Or you might just be from another galaxy. She paused and glanced at the door. I'm not an inspirational person... but I would say not to give up looking for a way back. I know I wouldn't. She opened the door and a blast of chill air assaulted them as they left the building and went out into the dark night of Kyris. Within the buildings surrounding them, Loki could see the lights of internal structures- and two bright moons in the sky overhead. The stars were notably different, but also- another bright sphere shined far away, with what looked like stars clustered around it. At first glance it might look like another galaxy altogether- but upon closer inspectoin, it would be quite round, like the moons. It was, indeed another planet surrounded by large reflective objects. They were headed for a long, rectangular building at the edge of the city. It wasn't too far away. As they walked, Nolinay kept strangley silent. Inwardly she was afraid, recalling that the last time she encountered the Shilor- she was injured and not a real threat to them. This time, she was bringing an army, and none of the Zen'tier there would care who she was, just like her people could care less about which Shilor they killed. She kept her unease to herself however and opened the door to the large military hangar. Even at this hour- there was much activity. No ships were flying out right now- and the only transports being prepared were three, medium sized shuttles- which could hold roughly 50 -75 men, in close quarters. Some of the men were already there, prepping the shuttles and checking their weapons. Some held rifles which looked much like black metallic blasters- but if Loki looked close enough, he'd notice the lack of any trigger mechanism or energy supply. These weapons were designed with the Kyran's specific abilities in mind. A few of the men turned and gave Nolinay a nod, some even waving and giving her a smile- before they looked at Loki curiously. Not all of them had been in the room to witness the Zabrak's display in front of their commander- and those that were, chose to forget it. Loki was big... Well here we are. Nolinay said, indicating the transports and shrugging her shoulders. A lot of other Kyran might have waited for the Zabrak's approval or impression, but the scout wasn't expecting him to be impressed at all- after all, this man came from a different place, with a lot more planets- and as he said before, had actually concurred several of them. How small this must all feel to him. |

Loki didn't ignore her comments on finding a way home, he figured that he would die trying to find a way. But until that time came he decided to focus on the events at hand. He blinked once as the doors opened and he smelled the air, it was all so new to him. As he looked up and saw the moons and then further away yet another planet with strange things around he stared in awe, few planets were that close together in his world, well unless you count Yavin and Endor, but really Endor was a moon..."Tell me, do you have habitable moons in this galaxy?" He asked quietly. Then they entered the hanger.. Loki nodded in slight approval. "How many men will be with us?" Loki asked quietly as some looked his way curiously while others looked at him then quickly away. So those were the ones that had witnessed the interchange between him and their uppity commander. Soon they would know why he had acted as he had. He was a force to be reckoned with. But he did not look these men in the face, as he feared all too soon he would have to silence them himself what few the Shilor didn't finish or didn't get to right away... |

Nolinay nodded at his question, noticing his glancing up at the planet beyond their own atmosphere. Secarious is a moon inhabited by the Zephyar- but I doubt you'll run into any. There's only nine who leave the moon. It orbits Minn- that planet you saw up there. It's orbit is almost never predictable and no one's quite sure why. Minn came close to hitting us a few centuries ago. She signed, But not even planetary collision could stop a war like this. The scout led Loki to the far left shuttle- which was already filling up with troops. Probably around 300 or so. They already know Ora'tel isn't a large outpost. She climbed up into the side of the transport. It was long, with two folding doors on either side and a small cockpit at the front. Lots of gear was stored in the back portion of the ship. Bilateral wings protruded from the top of the ship- little silver lights blinking as the engines started to thrum. I'm assuming we want to be in the lead shuttle, yes? She said, waiting on Loki to enter the shuttle before she rapped on the back of the pilot's seat and spoke to the curious man on the other side. Tovin- I found a friend. His name is Loki. Tovin had his hair pulled back with a tie- and a communication devise in his right pointed ear. He leaned back and glanced at the two behind him. His orange eyes looked very tired as he spoke. Is it your fault we're flying out at this hour Nolinay? He said, stifling a yawn as he regarded the Zabrak with a calm nod. She must have dragged you a long way to get here. I've never seen your race before. Welcome to Kyris....when everyone should be sleeping. He aimed his last comment pointedly at Nolinay. |

Loki nodded at her explanation of the strange planet. Then she was tapping on a shuttle and entering it so he did likewise and then he was met with the in different glance of a sleepy pilot. He sighed as he said a long way from here. "Either another Universe..or a galaxy so far away we've not discovered you..We are much more advanced though you are very advanced in some ways." Loki said politely, he figured if his universe or galaxy was near here, that one of the factions be it the Chiss, or the Republic would have discovered these planets by now. Or they felt they where isolated enough to be left alone..but he doubted it. He figured that the distance was great between the two, if they even existed in the same plane of reality. Who knew what that Sith wizard had done to them. Loki looked the inside of the ship over, then back at the men now hopping aboard. "This will do Nolinay..Do the doors stay open? Like open air transports?" Loki asked pointedly. He wondered which troop complement would carry that other commander. He wondered if that man had plans to betray Loki on the battlefield, he seemed like a man who hated to have his authority challenged, and Loki had done that, in front of no less than half of his men. Loki gave off an air that none of this was new to him. And he for one hated posturing leaders... |

Tovin shook his head and ran a hand over his face to wake himself up better. They were flying to a Shilor outpost after all. It wouldn't do for him to blink and crash his shuttle. If he didn't die from impact or at the blades of angry Shilor- he'd be yelled at for recklessness. Nodding idly to the man, Tovan started keying in commands as the last few men boarded his shuttle. Well, nice to be complemented.... I think. He threw a few switches and the large sliding doors began to close. It's too risky to fly- at night- with opened doors. We learned that lesson the hard way. The pilot looked down and spoke into a com devise- which seemed to be received by the other shuttles in the group as well, considering their simultaneous actions. ::All company prepare for lift off. All pilots please proceed to coordinates 72, 40. We're due east. Try not to nod off-:: The ships lifted off the ground with a minor shutter, and Tovin nodded upward at the handles overhead, before turning around and taking the ship out of the hangar. From their position up front, Nolinay and Loki could see through the large cockpit window- and the men behind them had small slits in the doors they could also observe the trip through. Below them, Turar ended abruptly- giving rise to a few clumps of trees, before breaking off into a wide stretch of rock land. Massive pail blue natural crystals jutted from cliff sides- glowing faintly with energetic light. And soon- after the stretch of rocky terrain, the ground showed a narrow band of grassy meadow with a tall, dark forest beyond. Nolinay nodded slowly and reached up to grab one of the ceiling handles for support as the ship took off and flew over the planet. She glanced toward Loki and nodded subtly toward the control panel before them. White button- red symbol. She said softly, indicating where the flair switch was located. When they neared the edge of the rocky terrain, Nolinay nodded toward the approaching forest. There it is- nestled in those trees. |
