Suicune![]() Type: Water HP: 100 - ATTACK: 75 - DEFENSE: 115 - SP. ATK: 90 - SP. DEF: 115 - SPEED: 85 Tier: (OU/UU/NU/Uber) Trait(s); Pressure: When your foe attacks, it's PP is reduced by 2 instead of 1. Moveset(s); ~ Rest ~ Surf ~ Calm Mind ~ Roar/Ice Beam @ Leftovers With 100/115/115 in the Defensive stats, Suicune is going to be hard to take down. Unlike most pokes with those kinds of stats, it also has impressive SpAtk that can be raised even further with the aid of Calm Mind. Suicune should have tons of Def so when you CM up, your SpDef is boosted, covering both sides of the attacking spectrum... Rest when needed, you will more than likely survive the two turns with lots of health to spare, so CM more. If someone switches in a counter, you simply Roar it away. Ice Beam is for Salamence etc... If you have Spikes Roar is a lot more effective. ~ Rest ~ Sleep Talk ~ Calm Mind ~ Surf @ Leftovers This set lets you set up faster, but in the long run might not be as effective as the standard. Constant Rest keeps damage off your back, but the bad thing about any Restalk set is that you need a bit of luck to pull it off. It sucks to Sleep Talk Rest when you really need to take a poke out. EVs: Both sets can use the following EVs: Pretty much always use 350 Defense, 401 HP is good, but not required. Put the Remaining EVs into SpAtk or SpDef. You might want 222 Speed for Adamant TTar. Bold nature at all times. Other Options:Hidden Power Dark, HP Electric or Grass, Reflect, Protect to waste even more PP, Mirror coat, Toxic for slow and painful death while you are possibly setting up... Don't forget, this thing gets 101 HP Subs to stop Blissey. Opinion: Suicune is hard to beat, even when you have a counter. If you are using 'Cune and Spikes on the same team, your life will be a lot easier (running Roar). Once you get in a few CMs you can just relax and tear the opponent's team up untill they bring cune down or Phaze on a Rest turn. Near uber. Counters: Vaporeon, Quagsire, Mantine, Ludiculo, Celebi, All other pokes with Water Abosrb, Milotic, Gyrados, Snorlax kinda. Zapdos and Raikou have an easy time beating it without a CM or two, but can't really switch in after that (or really stop it at all). HAVE SPIKES AND GET RID of these counters |
