Mullifuso. A planet of great wealth and an expansive sea. A lush forest reaching to the shores. Even the sun would have been glorified to be shining on such a brilliant worl-! Wait a second. This is the wrong file, Year 3900. I'll get the right one.

......................READING......CONFIRMED.

Mullifuso. The Planet of Avarice within the Tricross Nebula. A planet of defused wealth. A once-jungle world deduced to a desert wasteland. The sea that used to exist is now a dry strecth of land for all around. Peaceful creatures that used to roam the open green now reside uder the earth, waiting in ravenous droves to seek prey. Herbivores now moving to a more meatier food source. In such a world, one would have to be unlucky to live on it.

But it wasn't always like this. It was exactly how the last file said. Prosperous, green, joyful. There was a sea that extended from coast to coast. Rich foilage covered every section of the world. Anyone would've loved to live here.

When it first discovered, atmospheric colonies were deployed to observe the planet until finally they began a slow descent to Mullifuso. Upon landing, pioneers began to find abundant resources as well as nutrient-rich soil. Within the span of one month, the colonies were abandoned for the quickly extending mine cities of the world. It was the next best place to live, a newly-found gem.

But all gems have their flaws.

In the Year 3950, CEOs, bosses, and a few kingpins began to argue over the extents of property, wanting to bring more wealth into their own section. And soon, seeing that verbal argument was ineffective, it was easy to see what was going to come next. Sprouts of war began to tear apart Mullifuso. The wide ocean was now a diminishing reservior. The forests were breaking apart by the hour, ripping the nutrients from the soil and making millions of creatures homeless. Mines were slavered at endlessly, the need for the materials increasing.

Year 3960, the wars had finally ended. However, the consequences were devastating. There was no more ocean. No more jungle. Not a lot of anything left. Just destroyed cities and a poor economy. Mullifuso's end to glory had spread across the galaxy, turning away thousands of hopefuls. The only reason exports still came from other places was because of it's worth in minerals.

And they still suffer these awful effects to this year. Bounties and rogue corporations roam the planet, trying to help the citizens on the world to keep their hopes for a bright tomorrow. But they do so with risk as hunters try to stop them, turning them back to "justice." But with some hunters, capture by them equals something worse than execution by the government.

Mullifuso is a world in need. However, not everyone shares the same view, even if they are on the same side. So what shall you do?

Work as a bounty and restore a planet to former glory, piece by painful piece? Or as a hunter and reap the awards of a crumbling world, coin by coin?

Welcome to the Wastelands of Mullifuso... *Eerie Smile*

Before my post part of this... post (WHAT DID I SAY? D=)
I am doing the first main post with his permission, as he has a concert thingymabobberjig to go to. So yeah XD

--------------------

Since corporations now run this world, one would expect the metropolises themselves are unsafe for bounties, and havens for hunters. In the cities, people are more and less the same as all others. If you want to meet truly interesting individuals, the smaller towns are where you want to be. One can meet all different sorts in these outfits outside of the 'safety' of the cities. Why is it the more interesting people appear far out from the urban jungles? Well, first off, many of them are bounties themselves, but the main reason is of course... Bars! Pubs! Taverns! The one business not to suffer from this world's condition!

Yes! You heard right! Where better to meet up with others, purchase and trade equipment, relax, get the latest news, and learn of all sorts of information and secrets (And who am I kidding? Who can resist the drinks? >.>). Sure, hunters can appear to take bounties in these locations, but they know they are not the most welcome sorts here. Only the overconfident or newest of hunters step foot in these places, and often don't step back out. Thus bounties are often safe in these establishments.

One small outpost on Mullifuso, known as Sarlon, stands in the middle of nowhere, smack dab in the middle of the wastelands. Sarlon used to be the most forested region on the entire planet, but the years of war and strip-mining has left it as a shadow of its former self. If one is lucky, they may come across the occasional flower of fruit deep in the scorching sands, but going to search for one is rather foolish.

Sarlon is a safe haven for bounties, most hunters not wishing to brave the horrid environment. If a hunter were to do such, they would be meeting seemingly endless numbers of 'criminals' coming their way. So obviously, not the best place for a hunter to wander into, unless they had a death wish. Due to the high number of bounties, and what we know of them, it is obvious that Sarlon is home to dozens of bars. But our little story starts out in one particular tavern. In the center of this area is a pub whose name no one seems to know or care about, most just call it 'THAT Bar.' 'THAT' one is home to the most "dangerous" bounties of all of Mullifuso, making it a hunters gold mine... If y'know, they could get to Sarlon, survive all the bounties that would fight for their lives if need be, and THEN get to 'THAT' one, get out, then retrace their steps with their new trophies.

ANYWAY! Enough of random narration, we find our perspective forced into this particular tavern. In it we see our stereotypical muscular, dark, and creepy looking people. One simply being rather small, with messy hair, and a rather nice look on his face. He asks the barkeep for whatever is recommended, and he sits down, minding his own business. Neverminding this pansy, what kinds of faces will make their way here? What kinds of adventures can spawn from these collected faces? I am sure we will all find out shortly!

---------------

Sorry if lame XD

Laurel sniffed the air in the tavern, pulling an old ragged cloak of torn wool around her. "Smells like someone decided this was their outhouse... ugh..." Instinctively, she stays in any darkness she can find, looking out. Though, she does see someone who catches her eye... She gets closer, to watch him, swiping some bread from a table on the way

That was wonderful, Jimmy!! Usually with me, I forget to put in the stuff that makes it more exciting. XP Wonderful stuff! :D
----------------------------

Well, what do we have here? A little kid. Hey, why dun ya tell what's ya name?

It's Reimy, sir...

Bah, I dun like it. Sounds too fancy. I think....Reizu'll suit you better. Name of a great bounty. Like me. Now let's get to know each other...Tell me, where'd you come from, Reizu?

I came from that place over there, mister...

From the town of E.B.R.A.?! Wow, you must've been with rich parents. And dun call me mister. Name's...

"You know, dreaming in a place like this isn't recommended, no matter how many bounties are here to watch our back." With slow adjustment to the light dangling over them, the strange eyes of Reizu Akatsu opened to the real world. Looking down, he saw his pandadger partner, Sisamoo. His "father" had left him the older bounty when the catolf was ready to start his career. "Mmm...We've been walking for eight hours. Straight. I think I deserve a little nap." Sisamoo returned to his own beverage, a rather small cup of tea. "Well, it'd be best to drink your milk before you do."

Glancing down at the white creamy liquid he still held in his cup, the catolf downed the whole thing before breathing puffs of white powder. ".....Why powdered milk, Sisa?" With a smug grin on his face, the pandadger watched with amusement in his emerald eyes. "Powdered milk helps you grow faster. Not to mention payback for when you put clay in my teapot. I had that taste in my mouth the entire walk." Reizu twitched an eyebrow before turning his attention to the general populace around. "Sisamoo, what are we here for? Aside from supplies that is."

Sisamoo allowed the waiter to refill his tiny cup(being a meditated and concentrated as he, you didn't need a lot to function at full engine despite his large size) before taking a small sip. "We came here to simply relax a while. This place is a bounty's oasis. No hunters, no stress. Just relax." The catolf gazed at Sisamoo intently as he said this. Sisamoo, calm as he was, never did things without reason. Taking a vacation was counted as doing something without reason. "Whatever you say, Sisa. Whatever you say..."

Amidst the rustle and bustle of the patrons a strange woman sits laid back on her seat amusing herself with a small insect running back and forth between her hands as she blocks its attempts at escape. She's a slick, shiny skinned being, standing out from all the others, a bluish dreadlocks dangling down from her head, a fairly long muzzle, dressed in a tank-top and shorts which seem a couple sizes too small for her. She twists her salamander-like tail to and fro. A female Slithereen she is, they are slippery both literally and figuratively, but it is hard to see this through her playful expression and entrancing violet eyes. Despite the bartender's attempts to get her attention, it seems in vain as she is lost to the world for the moment (at least until the bug escapes).

Elsewhere a tall man, around in his early later teens or early twenties, with messy black hair partially covered with a large rimmed hat walks into the bar. He is dressed like a classic priest, all black, cross around his neck, his skin tanned perhaps from too much UV exposure. Resting upon his nose is a pair of spectacles. He takes off his hat respectfully and walks through the door... only to hit his head on the door frame and fall flat on his back, much to the amusement of onlookers. He stands back up, dusts himself off, adjusts his spectacles, the right lens now having a harline crack through the middle of it, he puts one hand on the back of his head and starts laughing pathetically. "Wow, did you see that? It just came out of nowhere!"

The young priest, so out of place among the crowd it itself is hilarious, let alone now he has a red mark across his forehead and is awkwardly making his way to a table. How this clumsy fellow has even made it this far is a quandary in itself. And what does he order to drink? "Do you serve chocolate milk here?" A broad cheerful smile on the priest's face to the bewildered bartender. "Is that a yes?" To that the bartender squints one eye and gets to it, double taking just to make sure he's not being played a fool in some childish prank.

The young priest looks about then out of the blue stands back up and... "Renard Ferdinand Lightway! Glad to meet you all!" Flailing his arms about like a total goof then sitting back down. At this, another pause followed by laughter fills the room then returns to the usual atmosphere as it dies down. This is soon interrupted once more as yet another figure enters here, this time an obscured figure, dressed in a white seamless bodysuit, a helmet with what seems to be horns or jet wings and a dark blue visor piece, and a gray worn cloak, down the back of the helmet is long light blond hair that nearly reaches his feet. With arms crossed and standing proud this person seems to be an embodiment of... taking things a bit too far.

With silence the figure makes his way to a seat, his stance, manner of walking, stiff and certain, one after another. This man is unmistakably the one who has caused some major trouble for the government recently, creating riots, breaking and entering, assault, stealing cash, equipment and food, already he is a wanted criminal. The way he walks and seats himself so calm and silently suggests he's not even a bit worried about it, though. He has apparently come to such a remote region to evade hunters that are undoubtedly after him. "Regaider" he calls himself, the self-proclaimed "Voice of the People."

Quietly Regaider sits, not ordering a drink but just sitting there, as if waiting for something to occur. As some bar patrons gather around, Regaider's head slumps forward and a noise emits from his helmet. They tilt their heads, one waving a hand in front of his helmet, coming to the grand conclusion that... he's fallen asleep.

The same piece of work, that this insane narrator very very briefly mentioned at end of their last post, gets up with his glass of a weird cocktail he cannot quite identify. He sniffs it and ponders... Eyes on him by random creeps and weirdos, he decides to take a large sip of his cocktail... Which he pains to swallow, the barkeep obviously messing with him when mixing this. Not wanting to give the bartender the satisfaction, he instantly downs the whole thing. "DELICIOUS!" he yells as he smashes the glass down onto the counter. The barkeep not being amused. This dusty man throws down a random coin from his pocket as payment, as he looks around.

Catching his eye from his... oddness, this dusty fellow casually waltzes over to where the one called Renard has sat down. One look at this lug, and one could see he was part of the wars that were one of the causes for the planet's condition. Pulling up a stool, he plops down next to Renard. "So... Milk? Mighty fine choice I do say so myself." Eyeballing the weirdo, dusty here has a snake crawl up from his arm and onto the table, staring up at Renard. With a curious smile, the dusty man says "Name's Merikh, yours?"

All the while, randomness ensues out back. "JASON! There is nothing worth investigating in the garbage!" yelled a weird looking being, at least for this planet. A similar looking being is digging in the trash, Jason. "Come on sis, is an intel gathering job we are on here! What better way to learn of the people than their trash? =D" The two are polymorphic creatures. Jason being teal in color with some black details on him and a runic J on his back. Sonja being red with black and a runic S. "... Oi... But there are much easier and more sanitary methods..." Sonja facepalming as her apparent brother continues. "I need a drink..." she says with a headache. "Come on..." She motions to him and the two go into the bar. Though not often carrying money, Sonja just bonks the first person she sees and takes their drink, downing it quick. "That wasn't nice sister, we aren't supposed to do such interactions, is against mission objective 2." Jason tried to explain while she downed it. "But I was thirsty and need a rest from your idiocy..." she replies while glancing to the side annoyed.

Renard glances at the snake for a moment, a bit distracted by this for a moment. He then looks over at Merikh, adjusts his glasses and chirps once more quite energetically "Renard Ferdinand Lightway, but you can just call me Ren! But don't call me Julie." He pauses for a moment apparently in some thought. "I'm a traveling priest you see, I... deliver food to the scattered colonies." As he says this the amphibian woman gets bitten by the bug on her thumb and starts sucking on it. She turns to them sticking her hands behind her back to cover her goof.

From this amphibian's mouth a somewhat high pitch and chirpy voice emerges "Don't you mean you smuggle them in, mu?" Renard hears then and spins around on his bar stool. "Now, I don't see how giving a bit of food and supplies to those that need it classifies as 'stealing'." Renard chuckles a bit twiddling his thumbs, head tilted and smiling. "Do you BUY them, mu?" A small smile running across her muzzle as she says this, Renard tilts his head the other way. "Well... um... no... but I don't steal them either. I just find them, if they were stolen then I'd be unaware of such things, and besides they go to those that need them so that's all that matters, right?" The female Slithereen's smile widens, closes her eyes and tilts her head upwards. "Muuuu~ I suppose."

She begins to twirl some of her hair with one of her fingers. "Since you've so boldly given your name I might as well too, mu. It is Eel." Renard gives a puzzled look, "Eel?" "Mu, my name is Eel. Sleeping beauty over there you may already know as Regaider. I wonder if he's some kinda robot... mmmu." Getting close to Renard, Eel whispers something. "But between you and me, I rather prefer he's something cute and warm blooded. You know what I mean?" Renard chuckles nervously, pulling back.attempting to speak but all that emerges is "Eheh... heh... well... um... that's... interesting..." Eel giggles tilting her head and closing her eyes again smiling broadly, apparently just teasing Ren.

"You smell nice mister priest, but your eyes are dirty." Renard looks back at her with a bewildered expression, then his eyes grow big in shock. "Nonononono! I'm not thinking anything of the sort! I-I swear, I-I..." Eel bursts out laughing, "No! Not that! Oh I am such a gurf, me speaking of your language is not all the way complete." She bonks herself on the head sticking her tongue out partially. "Please, don't mind me, mu."

She returns to her seating, she doesn't seem to have alcohol but purely water. Though it is no wonder as Slithereen are known to have a very picky diet, they are also known to be sensitive to smoke. Amazingly, though, they are very resilient to toxins, possibly due to their home world, a marshy humid environment having many poisonous creatures occupying it. Regardless of this, she has taken a risk coming here, she too may be avoiding capture.

Renard on the other hand, his reasons are unknown, a priest all the way out here is simply weird. His walk, his mannerisms, his cheery nature all out of step with the gloom of this world. He's clean, well clothed, and organized aside from his mess of black hair. If it weren't for his tanned skin, one would say he was out of phase with this world. He came here to Mullifuso not too long ago but his ride here is still unknown. Some think he is an angel descended from heaven, some on the other hand think he's a demon or some evil entity. Stories emerge that a crimson eyed monster is always around where he is, yet no stories of people being harmed exist. Still, his reasons here seems pointless. Not many hunters would seek out a priest, so there's no need to hide, right? Regardless, there is more to this cheerful bringer of good will, but what it is, is yet to be seen.

Reizu glanced at each of the new arrivals with a hint of interest within those black eyes of his. Sisamoo was equally as interested. A priest, who made quite a groundbreaking entrance. The legendary "Voice of the People" himself, though the only voice coming from him was apparently him sleeping. Quite an impressive crowd for such a small bar. But then again, what was to be expected from the place the people referred to as 'The Bounty's Oasis?"

Regardless, Sisamoo had found what he had came for. Gently sipping the rest of the tea that was not there, the pandadger rose from his seat, attracting a few glances by fellow customers. "I believe I desire the presence of company. If you do not mind, I think I shall conversate with the fellows at the bar." The catolf blew a puff of white from his nostrils. "You're leaving me by myself? Meanie." Sisamoo gently scratched the back of his neck as he spoke with a sly hint of amusement. "Though I don't see how leaving you by yourself is mean, you could join me if you'd like. More company is accepted." The catolf caught the hint of smugness in his guardian's voice. With ears like his, it was hard not to catch them. "Are you teasing me, Sisa? Y'know I don't conversate often." "Ah, thank you for reminding me. That's one thing I planned to do while I was here. Now you will come with me."

Reizu raised an eyebrow before sitting up straight, glaring at those emerald eyes with dark intensity. Obviously, communication with other people, be they bounty, citizens, or hunters, was not a hobby. "No, thanks." Sisamoo shrugged gently before turning as though to walk away, allowing the rebellious catolf to lean back into his seat once more. With speed that belied his size, the pandadger twisted on his foot and thrust a single finger into Reizu's right shoulder joint, landing a solid touch. Within a second, a wave of soft green energy washed through the catolf's body, disabling all movement below the head, leaving his body limp. With a half-smile on his face, Sisamoo gently lifted up Reizu and placed him upon his back so his head could be seen over his shoulder. "I see your reaction speed still requires a bit of work. But first, communication."

With all his solemnity gone, the catolf began gnawing on Sisa's head, hoping with enough saliva on his head, he would put him down. But being a bit more resiliant than that, Sisamoo carried him to the bar, getting a few snickers from the watchers, mostly at Reizu. Upon reaching the bar, the pandadger put on a smile at the priest and his dusty friend before grabbing a larger bar stool to sit upon. "Good afternoon, friends. i hope you will not mind a few voices to your conversation."

Laurel sat down to eat her stolen bread as she watched the strange goings on, pulling her cloak up further around her head. However, she is easily bored, and within a few moments she stands and starts to slink behind the strangers... In particular, an amphibian woman, that she thinks seems fun.

Well was waiting for someone else to post, but since no one is, guess my turn. Sorry for length, kind of in the middle of something else... >.>;

-----

Staring at the two who approached, Merikh places a handgun on the table, which was uncomfortably in his pants, having lost the holster, and he rests his head on his hand. "Sure, no problem. Though nothing important really. Just an exsoldier talking to a priest really..." At this statement, the snake of his crawls up onto Ren's arm, staring at the various people. "Don't mind 'er, she won't bite ya or nuthin'." Eying down a man sleeping at a table, he reaches over and nabs what's left of his drink. "So, really... Smuggling eh? That's illegal ya know..." He takes a bit of silence, during which, Sonja can be heard smashing another person's head against something hard. "Hahaha, but what isn't these days, am I right?" He sips his newly acquired drink, much more refreshing than that jerky cocktail the barkeep mixed together to mess with him. "Ahh... Much better..." He chuckles and looks at the ceiling.

Back to the two polymorphic siblings, we find Sonja having liberated a numerous amount of drinks. "Sis, really, should you be taking THAT much if you have to at all...?" "Shut it! Yo-y-you don't know what I'se going thru..." she responds with a slur in her speech. "Yes I do, we just got on this mudball and-" "But you... you just don't get it!" "How don't I?" "C-cuz you're... you're a winner!" saying this she flops down on a nearby table, with a loud belch upon impact. Jason looks around to see people staring and laughing. "Ugh... sis, maybe should just get you out of here..." He picks up her suddenly stupor sibling, who cannot take alcohol at all it seems, and drags her outside. Though they are hanging around out there, as random crashes, yelling, and giggling are heard.

"... Well that was peculiar" says an amused Merikh.

Hey, so sorry it took me so long to reply to this. I've had a rather busy week, but now I can devote my time to this. Again, sorry for being so late and I hope my post is good enough to make up for it ^_^;;;

-------------------------

The sun blazed down on the barren, cracked landscape and a dusty wind drifted. It was no man's land, a land deprived of anything of convenience to those who traveled. The harsh sun, the big beasts and the great wide canyons made it difficult for anyone to travel. Truly, this line of environmental defense was the toughest thing to penetrate to reach Sarlon.

However, these two women riding on a motorcycle. Making sharp, albeit unnecessary turns and jumps, the driver was enjoying herself in this rather dreadful area. The driver was a tanned woman wearing sunglasses, had white hair, wore white bell bottoms and a tube top. Her companion clings to her as she makes her risky stunts and swerves. Wrapped in what seems to be a tethered black cloak and wrappings, one could barely see any of this persons features except their yellow eyes, traces of their pale skin and strands of black hair sticking out of the head wraps.

She laughs away as she makes her riskiest stunt yet: ramping off of a canyon on to the other side. She accelerates, crouching forward, her companion clings tighter. She presses a button on the right handle and the boosters kick in, a roar of flame coming out of the exhaust pipe blasting her forward. The moment of truth has arrived, she leans the bike on to its back wheel and ramps off the cliff of the canyon. “Woooooooooooooohooooooooooo!” she shouts as she flies across the massive canyon in one leap of faith.

To the amazement of... anyone who may be watching she makes the jump and raises her arms, shouting in excitement. “Did you see that?! I totally aced that jump!” laughing jovially she gripped the handlebars again. Her companion's eyes were unchanged despite their companion's excitement and their escape from death's kiss, as if to say this was routine when being with such a woman.

Finally, the motorbike reaches the outskirts of Sarlon, making a full stop just outside. The woman turns to her friend, looking as gitty as a school girl. “This is it, Nox! This is Sarlon! I'm so excited!” Nox steps off of the vehicle and looks toward the other woman. “Ahhh, so this is Sarlon. Somehow I expected it to look a tad more... grand than this.” Nox spoke softly. The other woman looked in her mirror, observing herself.

“So, you remember what we agreed on, right?”

“Yes, Lux. The masked man should be in there... I simply need to scout him out.”

“Excellent! I'm sure he's aware of your reputation already, 'Shadow of the Moon' As for me, it'd be troublesome to go in as I am now....” Lux said while restyling her hair. Nox's name has gained quite a force behind itself lately. Tales of a cloaked phantom that comes out at night, twarting the big bosses of Mullifuso. A shadow that is undetected by any security system, an assassin that will always make his kill despite the defenses. This was truly a living legend, it seemed. The sight of such an enigmatic figure would certainly stir some attention.

Lux's skin began changing from its tan to a lighter, freckled look, while her hair became a dirty blond. “I'll meet you later. Remember, we're doing this just as we planned” she said as she was taking her tube top off. The wrapped person simply walked ahead into town, their partner still changing their looks.

Nox made it into Sarlon and decided to look in the first bar in sight. That bar happened to be... THAT bar. Funny how things work like that. Anyhow, Nox enters That bar, chatter already beginning of the newcomer. Though, Nox ignored this, only interested in one thing. Luckily, Nox spots the masked man, sitting there. Surely this was an illusion... he wouldn't make it THAT easy to find. Would he?

Grabbing a seat, Nox sits down and eyeballs the masked man from a distance. The yellow eyes like piercing knives into just about anyone who looks into them. Even without knowing about the legend of the figure or even believing that this was the person in those tales, the look in those yellow eyes would let you know that this is a hardened person.

After a few minutes pass, another person enters a bar. A lovely freckled lady young lady with short, dirty blond hair in jean short-shorts, wearing a plaid button shirt with the sleeves cut off, mostly unbuttoned to expose her cleavage. This voluptuous young lady sits one table away from the masked man, giving him a little wave. “Hey, waiter! I think I'll take a mug of beer my way! Make sure it has a nice froth to it, I like my beer nice and frothy.”

Looks about, this newcomer looks at the group of oddballs around her. Hmmm...are people usually this interesting at Sarlon? Didn't think I'd ever see a priest in this kind of place... She looks over at the two polymorphic siblings, raising her brow to the female one bashing people's heads for drinks.

Renard chuckles nervously. "Smuggling? C-come on, I consider it charity, a bit of good will to fellow brethren... heh... I see nothing that should be bad about passing along a few items if they themselves can't gain them, especially life's necessities like food and water." He then adjusts his glasses and sips his chocolate milk. "Again, it is all for the betterment of life. Everyone needs hope, and a feeling they are cared for." Eel is distracted for a moment in a cheerful daze twitching her tail about, the only thing escaping her mouth is "so much mammals" under-breath but in a happy tone.

Around Regaider some curious bar flies have started to gather. "Is he sleepin?" "I dunno. Hey look there, he ain't got no gun, no knife or nothin." The curious men look about Regaider, finding nothing that appears as any armament. "How does he do the things he does without any shooters? What does he live on you reckon?" One of them looms near to the masked mystery. He then speaks in a whisper to his pals. "Hey I have a idea, lets see what the feller looks like under there, just a quick gander..." The others nod in agreement, all getting a bit excited at this, but as soon the one reaches and takes hold of the helmet, two hands reach up grabbing his hands. From the mask emerges a stern vocoded (scrambled/masked) voice emerges "Do not... touch." The man tries to pull free but finds himself unable to move until Regaider lets him free, to which he falls backwards into sitting position looking up at the tall helmeted figure who stands up now. "Excuse me, sir, but... some things are better left a mystery... for now. It is for your own benefit I assure you." With that he helps the man to his feet.

Regaider, is now awake and fully alert it seems he looks around the bar once more, taking note of the eyes fixed on him specifically. That visor blocks one from seeing if he's looking directly at a person, but you feel it, a strange feeling like your being read as eye contact is being made. He apparently notices Laurel despite her attempts at stealth but moves on his gaze regardless. Bullet holes are riddled in portions of his coat, near an upper part are claw marks and scorches. His stance and manner of standing is rigid, one would think he were a manikin if it weren't for his chest moving in and out so very slightly as he breathes. Around some talk to one another. "He's as the rumors say, he's a strange one fer sure... ya hear the way he speaks, all proper-like. You'd think he were city folk or sumthin." Regaider seems unconcerned with the talk of him going on around and simply walks up to the front.

Renard takes notice of this and... "Hey, cool helmet there! Are those horns or wings?" To which causes Regaider to pause for a second. "Wings." Eel then pops in. "Can you fly, mu!?" Regaider pauses for a bit longer, looks down at himself then turning his head slowly to Eel. "I'm afraid not." Eel lets out a sigh and flops her head down on her arms pretend pouting, then looks dreamy eyed at Reizu's big ears, apparently entranced. "Ears..."

Sorry, I'm late!! *Trips* X.x
------------------------------------

Sisamoo nodded his head at the priest's caring words. "Aye, well spoken, indeed. If anyone's stealing or smuggling, it would have to be the bigwigs in charge of everything. The way they take from the poor and needy is despicable. But even worse is that they claim they target the ones helping as bounties like me and my...friend here." Sisamoo paused to point at the nomming companion of his before continuing. "But regardless, I'm glad to see hope lives on in different forms, in flesh and blood."

Meanwhile, with his demeaning position on his "friend's" head, Reizu finally left off gnawing on Sisa's head and took to gazing at the going-ons. More and more people, bounties or not, kept coming in. With eyes like his, the catolf could pick out so many different vibes. The Masked Hero, who was now finally awake. The Red-Eyed Priest, who likled chocolate milk. The Dusty Guy with a snake for a pet. But oddest for now had to be...The belch from Sonja had rattled his large ears slighty but being momentarily disabled, he could only squint in pain. Yep, the twins. Thankfully, her....brother, perhaps? Took her outside to sober up. But he could still pick out sounds from outside. But that didn't distract from the two new ladies now coming to the stranger's bar.

A fresh feeling rode through his body as the numbness in his body was gone, enabling him to move once once more. Sliding off the pandadger's broad back, Reizu nearly lost his footing, twirling his arms in a pinwheel before steadying himself. Glaring silently at Sisamoo, he resumed his old seat back at his table before feeling a dreamy stance on his person. Or more specifically, his striped ears that were bigger than most. With some mysterious sense, he traced the stare back to the snaky-looking girl. What did they call her....? I know I heard it.....Eel! Yeah, that's it.

He began to feel slightly unnerved and gentle heat in the cheeks of his face before taking his scarf in his hands to hide his ears before a foreign thought crossed his mind. If you wish not to mingle with others, then you're always welcome to be a head warmer for me....Until we leave.... The hair on Reizu's back began to stand up as the catolf turned to the pandadger, whose green eyes were complete with an ominous smile. Knowing he was defeated with two fates, the catolf slowly stood up and walked, well, staggered to his ear lover's table. With the help of trembling legs, Reizu plopped down and soothed his ears gently, a blush now unavoidable. "......Hi......." Banging his head on the table, full well knowing that he was going to attract a few glares and enemies, he continued. "I couldn't help but notice that you were.....staring...at these." Looking up, the catolf's striped ears twitched. "Wouldju....like to touch....?"

A faint snicker sneaked past Sisamoo.

The female slithereen's narrow eyes widen a bit, a light red blush forming between her eyes and without hesitation takes both her hands out and begins to feel of them. "Of course!" The feel of her hands is a bit cold and moist but not so much clammy, but more-so a slick and soft texture. A genuinely jovial look goes across her face like a child in a candy store, really absorbed into it. Soft and and a bit warm they are... This seems to be a rare opportunity to her as her violet eyes go into a daze almost fully absorbed into this.

"I'm sorry if this seems weird, but where I'm from, my um... woyeld... OH world that is, the only mammals can only carry a one-way conversation. Ones like you... fascinate me... your eyes, your ears, your tails... and the warmth..." She pauses for a moment blushing then giggles nervously. "Oh my, this is awkward, I'm sorry. Thoughts coming out from mouth, oh muu. But yeah... I think they are wonderful, in fact, I wish I had a set on my noggin, but alas..." Eel places her hands to the sides of her head imitating ears. "Nothing... mu..." She then places her hands in her lap and tilts her head. "Muuuu... I'm so chaaaatty, I apologize..."

Suddenly a troubling thought hits the amphibian. Big ears... red on black eyes... could he be? He's got a heavy price on his ears... I mean head... most likely if he were caught, it would be one of those nasty executions... and it seems to be only him and the pandadger... they say he's really skilled... but still. Statistics are not on their side. "So I get you need companions, mu? Well I'll lend my skulls... wait... skills! Though normally I ask for a currency payment, buuuut... since you were so gracious to me I'll take that instead. Oh and, sorry again for talking your ears off like that... I got a bit excited... I'm a fan, mu. So... what do you think? Am I in?"

Regaider takes notice to Renard and Sisa's conversation and points to the pandadger speaking quite passionately. "I came here looking for comrades to fight against such injustice. It is because of them that the people suffer, and the blood of the innocent is spilled. If you are ones for the people, let it be known that you are my ally, and I yours." Renard pauses for a moment and then chuckles. "Well, since you put it that way, then I'm already in. Helping people is only natural for me." Regaider holds up his hand a bit over-dramatically. "That is indeed true, Ren. It too seems only natural that we meet like this. Alone we accomplish small victories, but together... maybe... just maybe we could liberate this world and bring to it some long overdue reparation. Do you agree?"

Happy New Year, everybody!! :D
-------------------------------

The catolf was amazed at how fast Eel took hold of his ears, so fast that he shivered when he felt that cool touch upon his ears, them being one of his sensitive points. Aside from having a seemingly-kind and beautiful woman massaging his hearing appendages, there was a little smugness to be gained from the barkeeper's sizzling stare along with the male customers' own. His own eyes fluttered into a daze as the slithereen continued to feel on his large ears, almost as she was doing. Wow....this...isn't so bad...

With a half-opened mind, Reizu did his best to listen to the words Eel was speaking. She kept saying something about mammals, ears, and his other body parts, like his tail. God, he loved his tail. Once the slithereen removed her comfortable hands from her obsession, the catolf regained his senses, feeling a bit embarrassed, but only slightly. Managing to catch the last part in time, Reizu waved his hands. "Eh, no, it's fine. It's kinda nice to talk to someone." Told you.

Hissing silently as Sisamoo, he was about to send a mental thought back before Eel began to speak again. And one single word had his attention held tighter than his own grip on his sword. Companions. Sitting up in his chair, the catolf absorbed every single word that came from her mouth while he quietly gloated in his head. Sisamoo had not come for a rest. He had came to recruit. Reizu scanned Eel over and over to decide what how she could benefit the duo. "Hmmmm......I don't mind you talking my ears off. That could be useful. But before I say you can join, I need you to show me something. What makes you...special." Behind him, his glorious tail swished from side to side, bearing that glimmering silver tail ring that earned his bounty name, the Cocytus Garnet.

Sisamoo was quite amazed when Regaider spoke into the conversation. This was his first time meeting the actual Voice of the People face-to-face. He was every bit as just as the word justice itself. And now he had just stated himself as a comrade. Before the pandadger could speak his words of gratitude, the ecstatic priest had also joined the same cause. Without even yet asking, he had recruited two fellow members! And Reizu had managed that slithereen girl.

"Yes, I fully agree. The innocent indeed had no part of the wars that lead to this so they should not have to be blamed for the careless mistakes of others. As for the ones that would take advantage of them, they're nothing but trash to be swept off this world. Many young ones do not deserve to live in such an impoverished world. And so we shall be one step higher than bounties. We shall be Savers. Or if anyone can think, feel free. I'm not a name person." A gentle smile crossed his face, apparently pleased with his haul.
