As always, missions = Leveling up. This is a little different, but here how it goes. 100 EXP = Level 2 (Everyone starts at Level 1) 200 EXP = Level 3 300 EXP = Level 4 400 EXP = Level 5 600 EXP = Level 6 800 EXP = Level 7 And so on. NOTE: You may only do missions ONCE. That means you can't do the same mission over. |

Feel free to delete this post when you see it. For starters there has to be some kind of incentive to want to level your character up; Possibly More Flames - Better Weapons - Bring the Stats System back but rework it into the Roleplay. Leveling should also have a different XP Cap to level rather then 100's. Such as doubling the amount each level or multiplying by 1.7x the required amount of the previous level. For example... 100 XP -> Level 2 170/200 XP -> Level 3 289/400 XP -> Level 4 481/800 XP -> Level 5 That way you can't gain levels and be Overpowered before anyone else joins the site and will require some good roleplaying. As well - To add the the XP earned amount for missions, an admin should decide how the Mission was played out, which will determine how much XP the person will earn from their missions. When displaying the amount you can earn you should put it as the minimal could be 10XP and the max 30XP for lets say a Rank 1 type missions. As well, Mission ranks to have a better understanding and know how to roleplay the mission out. Might as well go easy on it by doing this - Rank 1 - Novice, Easy, Anyone can accomplish these missions ((10-30XP)) Rank 2 - Chance of difficulty, Still quite easy to finish the mission ((15-45XP)) Rank 3 - Slightly difficult, take a small amount of skill to beat ((25-65XP)) Rank 4 - Difficult, Take some smart thinking to accomplish these missions ((40-85XP)) Rank 5 - Master difficulty, Possibly impossible ((50-100+XP)) Of course no XP would be rewarded to a completely horrid roleplay attempt, no one gets free XP. Too add as well, Why not allow missions to be moderated by Admin - to add events to the Missions and act as NPC characters so there is some story other then a solo mission roleplay; it will liven up the roleplay and add to the fun. Giving it some more interaction and forcing the player to think and actually roleplay then just write a story. Welp - There are some of my thoughts, tell me what you think tomorrow. - Kyra <3 |

I like the idea, but I don't really think it's gonna be necessary to bring back the whole stats system back. It might be difficult and complicated to some users. Those are for OTHER roleplays, like DBZ. I was just going to use these two main stats: Health: In case of a battle, ans Stamina: To help with techniques. Not really to sure about adding Speed, Strength, etc. Next thing you know, some might argue of damage when it comes to the battle system >_<. For the free XP, I think it would be good to give out XP for "free-style" roleplays (As in regular roleplays), but would gain little XP, and maybe an alignment (Depending on how the character did) But for the whole, well you know, overpowered one, I was thinking of putting in a certain amount of missions to do, because there might be some people out there who goes on a "Posting spree". That will be discussed later, but I like the idea of yours. However, I don't think the stat system SHOULD be allowed back, due for its complication. (Sorry for late reply ^^;) |

Then what would be the point in leveling up? Just something like a badge to show off on how much you have roleplayed? Stat system, I believe, should be brought back. I agree that the current system that you had-had was not fit for this site but I can tinker with the stat system myself and set it up to where it is relevant to the roleplay. |
