It wil mean less washing for you Sue and loads more free time. They will appreciate you more when they have got their own homes hope all the hosue moves go well. I think it's not a bad time to buy because the property market is still depressed - it certainly is in Warwickshire anyway Cut the lawns this morning and swept all up. Cleaned the kitchen, nipped to Lidl's to pick up some bits and bobs and came home. I had a nice cup of tea, just watching Catherine Cookson's The Round Tower on Yesterday channel - love it

Hello! I've been away for a few days. We went up to see friends in Leicestershire last Thursday. It was one of our friends 30th, so she had a party, although I didn't go. It was at a local pub but I stayed at home to look after Belle. Well I sat and watched comic relief! Then we went and stayed at my dad's on saturday night and came home sunday. Yesterday we went down to whitstable, had lunch and a little walk about. It's been such lovely weather! |

Hope you had a lovely birthday Nat. Mr FB & I are off work this week - yippee! Went to the cemetery yesterday but it was closed for some reason so will have to go back later this week, it's 3 years now since my uncle died, and 30 & 40 years sice my dad & mam died. All my family seem to die in March. What a depressing topic! Hope everyone is ok, we were busy at weekend decorating the living room, it looks a lot fresher now but the paint smell gave me a bad headache. Next time will get the low odour paint. The next room will be the back room but that is fairly big compared to our other tiny rooms so will leave it for a bit, or get someone in to do it. |

Really warm here as well. I started spring blitzing the kitchen, but still have to do some things this weekend. Why does the dust have to be THAT obvious when the sun starts shining again :-D |

If I remember rightly it's Market Harborough which is not too far away from me so she could have dropped by too Mad Rat we could have made a mini party of it what with the hens and that I know what you mean about deaths FB. You must have been quite young when you mum and dad died too FB so I do understand. It seems so long since you have last seen them or spoke with them yet you can still remember them vividly It has been beautiful weather and I am back at work so the sun is bound to shine I suppose that is what spring cleaning is all about, once the winter light has gone and the sun streams thorugh it shows everything up. I gave the house a huge blitz after Christmas so I was lucky and I did the windows last week too, but there are still odds and ends I need to get done like washing the dust off some of my artificial flowers I don't have too many of them but I have a big vase of them by the phone in hallway where there is not so much light and a orchid arrangement whihc I have on the kitchen table which do look very lifelike. I shall get on and get those washed nearer the weekend and then they will dry no problem I see Elizabeth Taylor has died - very sad - but she lived her life in the fastlane. Richard Burton washer ultimate husband I suppose but together they were destructive to one another couldn't live without each other but couldn't with either. Went to Tescos tonight and did a shop also fulled up after the 1p a litre drop - whooppee doo

Hung that washing out on the line at 8.30 this morning and Charlie fetched it in at 1.00pm all dry and smelling lovely. I have got another load in tonight of towels and probably the dogs bed covers which I shall get out on the line tomorrow. I am going to get it all done because the weather is forecast to change for the weekend again

Isn't it ridiculous no one could afford to pay so much to insure a car,my sons give up looking . Another beautiful day could get used to this weather. |
