We had a fantastic time, at Weston On Avon. The river is 4-6' lower than it was last year. It was so hot. I got a bit burnt but not to bad. On Sunday we had xmas/easter dinner complete with easter and xmas trees all together on the field. Went to Welsborn market on Sat but had to come home after about an hour it was so crowded and so hot.

Wellesbourne is always the same every bank holiday and the traffic getting in is always piled back thats why I steer clear of it on holiday times :)

Been shopping to Sainsburys tonight - I have got vouchers which give £8.00 off a £40.00 shop which is pretty good going really.

Temperature has really dropped today it seems so much colder than what it was

We did a good old clean of the house yesterday, as Belle went off to nursery. I cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom. Steve sorted out the garage. He then cleaned the back windows then he cleaned the bedrooms. Then we both did the living and dining rooms.

Had a good day today. We went to the zoo with my mum, sister and nephew. It was Belle's first trip to the zoo. She seemed to really enjoy herself. She came away with a huge stuffed lemur toy which is probably bigger than herself but she still manages to toddle about clutching it!

I've managed to steer clear of the wedding, didn't put the telly on at all yesterday, well, only when Mr FB watched Corrie. Having said that, I hope Harry gets married soon so we can get another day off out of it : ) We don't buy any papers so won't get inundated with pics of the dress etc - although from what I see of the papers in work it would make a change seeing a female actually wearing something.

Hope everyone has a great weekend, it is sunny but very windy here, great drying wather : )

I managed to miss it all as well thankfully.

Yesterday I completed phase two of the coop extension by making a bigger nest box so we went out today and got 2 more chickens they are to young to go with the other girls yet so are in a temporary run, they are cuckoo Leghorns and will lay white eggs.

Phase 1 was the extended run.

Well I thought it was lovely. I watched the wedding all day long. I loved it. I loved seeing what people were wearing and seeing everyone arriving at the abbey. Most of all I loved seeing Kate in her dress, she looked beautiful. I can't see why everyone doesn't like it?

Both roosts have slatted wooden floor and are securely locked before dark.
