I bought a packet of Dylon the other week. I have a really nice quilted jacket which I bought from M&S a few years ago. It is so warm and comfy to wear but the colour has gone a bit on it so this time I did the colour dye by hand which is messier than doing it in the machine. The machine pack is £4.99 as opposed to £2.99 for doing it in a bucket. Anyway, it gave me loads of ready mixed dye water left over so I used that on a black pair of jeans and they have come up trumps as well. Really pleased as I have two for one on that. I also cleaned the house right through I just need to dust though. Nipped to Tesco this afternoon as well. I did pancakes tonight too ;)

Hello everyone, been a bit lame for coming on here lately!

Just busy busy what with going back to work.

Came home early today as Belle is sick. She was with my mum today, but she had to come back to my house as she needed more clothes as Belle was being so sick. Plus in her own surroundings. Although she was fine with my Mum, I just had to come home to her. I couldn't have sat there all afternoon worrying. And the 'mummy instinct' was that I had to be with her. She was sick a bit more when I got back, but she's gone to sleep now. She's not keeping anything down so hopefully she might have something to eat and/or drink when she wakes up.

She is going to pick up these bugs up in nursery Nat  Glad work is okay for you though ^_^

Sue, sorry to hear that you are not so good, I have been pretty rotten today but sluggish, feeling like a blinking zombie, my neck is hurting like mad because I slept on it wrong and my neck muscles are jarred. I am tired out and physically knackered and I cleaned out five stables this morning as well  Not good :(

She's asleep now. She's not had anything to eat or any milk, as even water was just coming right back up. Then there was nothing, so she was just retching, which was horrible. I ended up ringing NHS direct just to see what they said. The woman on there said to give her milk. I then decided to ring my GP, the receptionist had a word with a dr, and got back to me saying not to give her anything! Apart from a little water. Doh! I was inclined to listen to them rather than the stupid NHS Direct woman. She was actually wanting water just before she went to bed, and didn't bring this up, so hopefully she will be over the worst.

You say work was okay. They just about let me go home, but I had to take the 3 hours as leave! But at the end of the day I don't care, I just wanted to get home and I'm glad I did as she needed her mummy.

No wonder you're aching Lorraine, mucking out all them stables! It's knackering I remember from my days when I was younger and into horses!

Not opened my Census form yet and probably won't bother, my cousin is being a rebel & not bothering to fill hers in so may join her. Plus I'm sick of the sight of them at work, thank God it's only once every 10 years. Has anyone else heard that this is the last one the Govt will be doing? I heard it but it's probably just a rumour.

Got te kitchen panted last weekend so now we are planning on wallpapering the living room in a week or so. Well, I'm planning it & Mr FB is not happy but tough! :D

Lorraine, we did that with Joe & got the vet out to him, at least he was in familiar surroundings. Hope you have Biff for a good few years yet.

How's Belle not? Hope she is ok now, they pick these bugs up quick but get over them just as quickly. Hope she is over the worst.

She's still poorly. Gave her a bottle this morning which came back up. I took her to the doctors, and she is not dehydrated, so just to give her a little water, no milk or solids for 24 hours. She's asleep now, but it's so horrible when you don't know what to do for her, as she can't tell me.
