I want to be very delicate with this topic. Other forums I've been to, they have killed away this topic and so i'm going really slow with this. THIS IS NOT ADVERTISING,which was said at another forum that shot it down. I am asking for opinions on maybe what should be included or done for a payware route? I'm currently working on the Amtrak Hiawatha route, which is set for release in Spring 2012. But the Chicago terminal is the basis for seven other routes being worked on for release next year. Now,I am hoping to make one of the routes payware. The Empire Builder will most likely be first,or the Southwest Chief. I've released a few routes since starting PacificTrainz, but want to bring things up a notch. Now,I'm not going to put a million dollar price tag and hope someone is dumb enough to pay for it. I want everything to be reasonable and not insane, but I know the route needs to be worthy to be payware. Basically, what tips or suggestions could you give me to make a payware route reasonable? Thanks. Jeremy.

First I would say that it must be really prototypical of the region your doing. second, you must includ details (ex: custom buildings, correct ground texture, signs ETC) third, you can include scripted session with the route. |
