Unlike the previous Last Stand games, which were 3rd Person Shooters, the new Last Stand is a Metroidvania genre game. Now, you start wondering, "What the heck is that guy talking about?" Or you could be wondering "What is that "Metroidvania" that guy's been talking about?" Well, Metroidvania was one of the most succesfull game genre existed, sometime in the 90's. To sum up, Metroidvania are side scrolling games which include open world map, with insist on exploration, including some RPG elements and the fact that the player, while he grows in strenght, he is able to unlock new areas of the map to explore. Examples are Metroid and Castlevania (especially Symphony of the Night, from which game came out the genre's name Metroidvania). This is what kind of game Con is making. And the irony is that he probably hasn't ever heard about it. |

He who is cool.

How about a TLS game sort of like "The Book of Eli"? Best post-apocolyptic movie ever. Although there's no zombies in that movie...

In the house, in a heartbeat

Never played Metroid or Castlevania, but they look so awesome... I wish Prime was on PS3 or PC though, I'm not going to get a Wii or Gamecube any time soon. |

Wii does not count as a games console. It is a toy. |

You know, that cyborg who fights against hordes and hordes of robots/stuff that harm you? I thought everbody here had heard of Metroid. Anyway, it's a good game. |
