^LOL YAY YOU GOT UNDEAD NIGHTMARE! Hysterical indeed x3 wait til you get further, it just keeps getting better (...til it reaches that one point I mentioned >.>) Definitely worth playing, though. Also, very impressive, your Oblivion character I don't think I'll get that far with mine before Skyrim comes out... Especially since I haven't even got back to the game yet D; (Dunno why, just haven't been in the right mood) Hopefully soon I'll get to it. I've just been mostly playing LotRO lately, dunno why, just suddenly really got back into it. It's great though, being back. Fall Festival was fun, til I ran out of prizes to get, then I just went exploring Evendim, leveling up my character. Also started a new character, a Dwarf :3 I FREAKIN LOVE BEING A DWARF IDK WHY I DIDN'T MAKE ONE BEFORE. Now I'm in the middle of a quest to gain 395 Turbine Points so I can remove gold restriction on my characters. (AND BUY A BIGGER HOUSE) Just 85 more to go

That nun with a rifle. The one that wants you to bring her a zombie so she can throw holy water on it. War galloping about setting fire to things. Also? Dwarf. +1000000000000000000000000000pts Edited by Seffoo, 29 Oct 2011, 02:37 PM.

LOL INORITE X3 So epic. War is definitely the best one. So fun running over zombies and lighting them up x3 So, as we all know, I started and finished Uncharted. It was really good! It's great playing a Tomb Raider-esque game again, I missed those :3 I think the only problem I had with it is that it's a bit short. Or maybe, if there was more side stuff to do, besides just treasure-collecting, that would work. But still, it is a great game, and so fun! Also, I LOVE that you get all of the cutscenes in a gallery and can watch them! <3 WHY THERE NOT BE MORE GAMES WITH THIS FEATURE? I couldn't help myself and started Uncharted 2 tonight x3 So far, it's REALLY proving to be better than the first (as I suspected). The very beginning was EPIC! SO INTENSE! 8D I was literally on the edge of my seat x3 Alright, I'm shutting up now and getting back to playing. Edited by Drake, 4 Nov 2011, 12:12 AM.

So, as promised, I'm playing Uncharted. Got further yesterday than I go through my whole previous playthrough. I am enjoying this game immensely. My problem however is the constant gunfights. I hesitate to go forward because it's just the same thing over and over and over again. The platforming parts are great and interesting, but too few. Cutscenes are marvelous. Gonna finish today :) |

Platinum'd FFXIII a couple of days ago... That was last Tuesday, I think? I'll get an exact date later when I put these new themes on the PS3. I broke what I vowed to do (Finish Oblivion on the tenth, a day before Skyrim's out) and finished the game on the fourth, exactly a week to the day. So, much to my surprise, I have burned out most if not all of the games I've got at the moment. All the PS3 ones, anyway. Currently I'm just working on Red Dead Redemption to turn my 97.0% completion up to 100%, and mucking around in Oblivion. Thismorning I sent the Arcane University insane. Did you know that when frenzied, everyone in the Arcane University courtyard goes and stands at the training plate near the lecture stand, as if it's the enemy? I would have brought the Battlemages into the fray but they were nowhere to be seen. Wtf? |

Started Uncharted, because I bought the dual pack today (a wise decision) You can tell it came out 2007, but the textures are still very nice. I'm enjoying it, BUT THERE ARE SO MANY ENEMIESSSS OH LAWDY. SO MANY. |

I got the dual pack too! *high five* Funny how all three of us are getting into the Uncharted series now x3 Anyway, I think I'm very close to the end of UC2 now! (I left the house Friday and just got back, why I haven't been playing.) I LOVED the train! OMG it was epic! Once it got to the snowy mountains, I just started looking off at it, ignoring the people shooting at me. My jaw was dropped. First thought when looking at the view: "SKYRIM!" *SHOT* Honestly, I think this has to be the most fun I've had in a game (action-wise) on a long time! Gonna beat it tonight ;) |

Well, currently, I'm playing a little game you might've heard of... IT'S CALLED SKYRIM Just when I was worried it wasn't going to arrive on time, the tracker updates to say it's in my town and less than half an hour later, a courier turns up at my door (at a bad time, admittedly, I wasn't exactly dressed...)! That was at about 10:20 thismorning. I stopped playing with the gear and actually put the game in a little while later, and hit 'New Game' near on 11. I entered character creation and played around in there for what must've been 40 minutes LOL. My girl's a Nord, modelled after Ranzer and given her full name (Liana got that treatment in Oblivion so...) ![]() It's the most amazing game -- everything I expected and more, and an RPG which for once makes sure you feel part of the world, not an observer, and not the controlling force within it. It's so beautiful and lush and alive... And the opening of the game is AMAZING. I don't want to spoil it, so don't click the tags because I absolutely HAVE to ramble about it. Spoiler: click to toggle Freedom. Absolute freedom. There was this massive world ahead of me, and I didn't know where to turn first. I took in the view for a while, looked at plants, wandered a bit, then decided to go the exact opposite direction of Riverwood. The first town I encountered was a gloomy little place famous for having more graves than people -- It's still my adventuring homebase right now, because I'm only level 8 (you level up really fast) and those Spriggans are mean, mean bitches. I've only done one real quest yet, and that was Spoiler: click to toggle and then there are a few things in the Miscellaneous section. I'm outfitted in light armour -- studded leather (actually I swapped that for the Savior's Hide), a steel longsword, hunting bow (fine) and two offensive spells. I didn't realize I had magic until 45 minutes into the game. I tried out third-person. It's still very awkward compared to, say, Uncharted 3 (which my brother got off preorder today, coincidentally!), but it's usable. It's free to rotate so you can get a good look at your character, but turning etc is a bit weird. Bethesda just doesn't have it quite down yet -- I still won't be using it outside those times I want to whisk it around for a better look, or a scale check. I went into a farm (which had a secret bandit hideout) and noticed how big the deer head on the wall was -- zipped into third person and WHOA! That deer is HUGE! Skyrim's deer are easily twice the size of Cyrodiil's. As expected, I'm enjoying the game thoroughly so far. I'm 6h 45m in, roughly, that was my very long first turn on it -- amazing. A great day! Seven hours, though, and I still feel like I'm floundering a bit, feel like I'm lost and that I've barely touched a single drop of this ocean. I love that feeling. In a bit of trivia, there are 62 people you have a chance at marrying. That's more than the total amount of possible followers you can have (47). LOL. There are nine capital cities and I'm pretty sure I haven't been to a single one yet. SO MUCH TO EXPLORE! I ended my first turn about four and a half hours ago, now. Going to have an early sleep and then be fresh in the morning for another go! Inevitably, I took some unboxing pics; This isn't all of them. Photobucket was being a bugger. >.> ![]() What a massive box! ![]() No kidding. ![]() For some reason I opened it sideways. ![]() That's better. ![]() Got my sister to snap a photo of me next to the box. Didn't really take into account that I wasn't looking quite up to photos though, it seems. That's also how I answered the door. A morning-just-woke-up-three-hours-sleep mess. :wtf: Ugh, that shirt doesn't look good in that shot, which is weird. Usually it doesn't make me look like a shapeless blob. O_o It's really getting loose.. ![]() Let's get this thing open... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Artbook. ![]() Next is the game box itself. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is underneath the game box's section. It's a smaller box that nestles inside. ![]() And inside that smaller box is... ![]() This monster! ![]() ![]() Absolutely lovely. ![]() BUSINESS TIME! ![]() Edited by Seffoo, 11 Nov 2011, 06:33 AM.

YOU LUCKY GIRL, YOU. *still has about 5 hours til he can go down and get it* IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL! <3 Sometimes I forget how big that box is..! You sitting there next to it, you look like you could almost fit in there x3 *SHOT* CAN'T WAIT. TONIGHT'S GONNA BE SO EPIC 8D On Another note: I beat AC Brotherhood last night. OMG. What happened at the end was just... just... D: I can't wait to play Revs now. I'm gonna try to get it ASAP. Forget about XIII-2 being next after Skyrim :wtf: *SHOT* BUT STILL. I'm going to have Skyrim to keep me VERY busy, so there's no real rush :3 (Also, I'm gonna TRY to beat Oblivion today with these few little hours I have left. I know it's sad ending it so fast, with still so much more to do, but once I have Skyrim, I just know it's gonna be ignored for a very long time D: gotta at least finish it!) I don't think I'll get that far with mine before Skyrim comes out... Especially since I haven't even got back to the game yet D; (Dunno why, just haven't been in the right mood) Hopefully soon I'll get to it.
