Ok, this board is exclusive, so we all know each other here, so I doubt we need to be too serious about the posted rules, but I wanted everyone to be on the same page.

- We are semi-exclusive: We don't advertise, and we aren't actively seeking new members. If anyone wants to join, or a member wants to bring someone else in, that's fine: we aren't going to deny people, we're just not looking to expand. (on the same note, it's perfectly acceptable for us to ban someone we don't like for that reason alone.)
- - UPDATE: We are currently seeking new members, so we ARE advertising, we just aren't trying to become some big public sensation. We always are, and always have been, totally willing to accept anyone who wants to join and roleplay with us.
- The official rating is PG-13: Our minimum age is 13, so that's going to guide our general rating. This doesn't mean you can't push that, especially with stuff that's now common in media, like violence, but please be discrete about it all. We don't want any trouble with anyone.
- - To elaborate more on this: swearing is fine, blood and gore is fine, mentioning sex is fine, graphically murdering someone is even acceptable. Because this is text-based, there's alot more room for what you can depict. Graphically describing sex or whatever is not acceptable, so don't do it.
- Don't discuss HP stuff: We are not affiliated with HP, nor do we want to be. Anything about that comic should be discussed on its own forum, not here: there is NOTHING that you should be seriously discussing about the comic that can't be discussed on its own forum.
- You know the rest: We've all been on forums before and all that, so we know what's a bad idea on an internet forum. I don't need to go into more detail than the simple reminder:
- - Try to be courteous and respectful to other members. Mainly just don't bully them more than I do or prevent them from using the site.
- - Don't double-post (use the edit button).
- - Use reasonably understandable and properly spelled English (not so much textbook-perfect, but be understandable).
- - Mind the authority of me as the admin and those I appoint as mods and GMs.
- - If you don't understand something with the rules or have a problem with them just ask me.

So, that's what I thought of off the top of my head. If anyone wants to discuss this stuff, go ahead and respond to this topic.

Hi. I updated this to better cope with current circumstances just now. Bug me if I should fix something.
