While I think citing me as an example of not taking the competitive scene seriously—something that I never delve into with any game, and barely touched upon with Dissidia, but only about a year ago—is a bad idea, I can see where you're coming from. Yes, it's true that this game isn't an in-depth 2D fighter, and yes, the competitive community is in shambles, but that's exactly why Mike, Rei, and Wedge are busting their asses trying to construct a more fulfilled and defined competitive experience. I predicted from the beginning, much to my dismay, that they'd meet drama-filled resistance in trying to further the scene independently of the "established regime" over at DF, but you can't fault them for still trying nonetheless.

While I don't feel like I should contribute either positively or negatively to discussions on a thematic system in which I've avowedly chosen to take little to no part, and I feel like I've done a bit more of that than I'd like lately, I will say that in spite of all the hardships involved, Mike and Co. have done a rather stellar job so far at DCB, and they've barely started thus far.

Honestly, I don't care what happened to DF and I don't really see why it's of such a concern to us that it merits a whole thread in the introductions forum. But, oh wait, that's probably just my sore ass talking. (Cue the smartass remarks.)

At the end of the day, I'm here because I have friends here and because I like video games. I don't care for the tournaments in the same way the rest of my staff does because I don't aspire to be the best gamer there is. For me, it's fun and challenging. As for my issues with the staff of Dissidia Forums, they are my own and they do not have anything to do with forums or video games or tournaments, aside from the fact that that is the site from which they all sprang. They're problems that I believe I briefly touched on with you, Narolf, so I find myself vaguely surprised that you threw me into the mix of Things Ehx Had to Tell You. Now, I've already spoken to everyone I need to about these conflicts and I'm quite content with where it all lies at the moment.

On the subject of everything else touched upon regarding the tournaments and our hard work on DCB, Mikeee has just about said everything I wanted to say.

Because yeah, Ehx told me a bit about the tensions there were between everyone (Wedge/Roberto; Nero/Dave; Spyder/Slinky; Val/Belts...it pretty much is Dissidia actually) at times and I only saw Mikeee's, Val's and Rei's hard work as a way to support Wedge after what Roberto did (whose, just as a reminder, english is and remains bad; "you traitor" was the line he heard in the anime he watched before arguing).

Just to be clear Narolf, RDF's English is just fine. Hes not 2, he is a grown adult and knows exactly what he said and what he meant. He shouldn't be babied or given excuses because people -think- his english is bad. If he really "didn't understand" what he did, then why hasn't he apologized to me? And I have every right to hold a grudge (though I do not, I just dislike him) as childish as that seems. When all was said and done, who was demodded and branded a traitor? Rei? Kraid? Nope just Wedge. All because I was decieved by people I trusted. Fuck that. But I'm not a child. I'm not going to seek revenge or whatever, I'm just going ignore those said individuals. I've moved on from DF and have better things to worry about.

I just wanted to clarify that.
Honestly I don't know what you're essentially trying to message across to us or me but if you could elaborate that would be great, because I'm confused as all shit.

And we (Mike myself and whoever else) consider you a friend Narolf and your honesty (whether I understand it or not) is appreciated.
