Interplanetary smuggling was a racket that most Changelings found themselves getting into at some point during their career, and Glacier was no different. With his race’s proclivity for space travel, Changelings had a reputation as smugglers across the galaxy; it made convincing people to get into his spaceship and give him zenni easy enough. The difficult part was convincing all of them to ride out the journey locked inside the storage room. Granted, it wasn’t the nicest way to make emigrants too poor for the transit system travel, but it certainly kept the entire ship from wreaking of desperation and poverty when they were done. |

The crew was currently heading to Konats with its cargo (of people). Home of the elves, the Konatsians had more trainers for them to visit, as well as enough strange technology that Glacier secretly hoped he might be able to convince some of the mystics there to part with it. Anything he could do to further bolster their capabilities was a priority, particularly the capabilities of his ship. As their home, Glacier had been renovating sections to make it more ideal for training. His ultimate goal was the installation of a gravitron, but Elvis hadn’t exactly designed the ship with fights taking place in hyper-gravity in mind. Likely, such an installation would have to wait. |

Moving from galaxy to galaxy was becoming increasingly harder given the current political state of affairs. The governments of every planet capable of dispatching a formidable space security force did so; for your average smuggler, this was the worst possible situation one could encounter. Fortunately, Glacier and his crew were anything but average. What The Treasurer lacked in firepower it possessed in more ‘creative’ ways. Rumors had long circulated that Glacier’s father, a perfectly legitimate businessman – if you can call being a planet conqueror for the PTO legitimate – also ran a lucrative smuggling racket on the side; given the ship’s unique modifications (radar jamming technology, state-of-the-art cloaking mechanisms, UV and infrared scramblers, etc.) it would appear that such rumors held weight. Regardless, Hex and the rest of his men refused to comment on the issue. |
