The hut was comprised of a single room, containing very few things: a bed, a small wood burning stove, one chair, and a small table with hand written documents strewn across it. Books were scattered throughout the place, as well. They varied in subject, but most were history books, and not just Yardratian history. Chomsky stopped pacing long enough to pour himself a cup of tea and take a few sips. He began pacing again, muttering to himself, “The time has come, I do believe. The time for these silly ideas to be thrown to the wind. The universe is not going to change; thusly, we must adapt.” He stopped pacing once more, looking down at the documents on the table. “Change is inevitable. All we can do is adapt.” Switching his gaze, Chomsky stood and stared out of the solitary window in the hut. Outside, he saw a calm desert. A crisp, clear blue sky ran along the length of the sandy terrain, as the sun set high in the sky, gently warming the earth. Years ago, Chomsky might have looked out over this same scene with a feeling of happiness, or, at the very least, contentment stirring inside him. Now, however, he felt nothing but anger and resentment coursing through his veins. His being felt engulfed by these feelings, and he closed his eyes tightly, perhaps suppressing a memory, perhaps letting that memory wash over him. Learning Days: 2 Advanced Attacks 9/10 Slots] (4) Underdog Dropkick [PHYSICAL, KICK] Advanced Attack Description: Sometimes being the weaker man in a fight just means you have more to prove. This technique is taught in particular to smaller, possibly weaker fighters to surprise their opponent. Bursting with energy from their feet, they take to the air swiftly and with both feet horizontal, plant the soles of their feet into their foe. Effect: Focused physical attack doing +2 power stages of damage. If your opponent's maximum Power Level is 3x or more your maximum Power Level, this attack cannot be STOPPED by defensive roll results of 22 or less. SUCCESSFUL - If your opponent's maximum Power Level is 3x or more your maximum Power Level, their base damage is considered -1 until the end of combat. Learning Days: 3 -1 (class) = 2 (5) Pressure Cooker [PHYSICAL, HOLD, PUNCH] Advanced Attack Description: Tangling their adversary into a guillotine choke, the user pummels them repeatedly while simultaneously strangling them. Effect: Physical attack doing +1 power stage for every move in your Hand. SUCCESSFUL - If your attack roll result is 24 or more, your opponent cannot gain power stages for the remainder of combat. Learning Days: 2 -1 (class) = 1 (6) Aggressive Beatdown [PHYSICAL, PUNCH, THROW] Advanced Attack Description: The user lunges at their opponent in a burst of anger, tackling them to the ground and axe handling them in the face with their closed fists. Effect: RESTRICTEDx2. Physical attack. If your anger level is 0, raise your anger 3 levels. SUCCESSFUL - If your attack roll result is 17 or higher, CAPTURE. Learning Days: 2 -1 (class) = 1 (7) Aoyusumu Heart Punch [PHYSICAL, PUNCH] Advanced Attack Description: Intercepting an opponent's kick, the user draws them close as a swift strike to the heart is delivered. The effect of this attack has been described to having an instant and momentary heart attack. Effect: Physical attack doing +3 power stages of damage. SUCCESSFUL - Your opponent loses X Health. X = 5 minus their anger level. Learning Days: 3 (8) Fire Power [ENERGY, BLAST, VOLLEY] Advanced Attack Description: Making the 'gun fingers' gesture, a series of ki blasts are fired all the while the attacker acts out the actions of firing a weapon. Sure, it might seem silly, but sometimes that can serve to throw an opponent off guard. Also, it's stylish. Effect: Energy attack. SUCCESSFUL - If your attack roll result is 16 or more, your other energy attacks for the remainder of combat cost -1 power stage to perform. Learning Days: 2 -1 (class) = 1 (9) Aoyusumu Guard Beam [ENERGY, BEAM, BLAST] Advanced Attack Description: Waiting for the opponent to get in close their attack is soundly blocked and, in that moment of pause, a beam of energy is released at point-blank range into the opponent's face blinding them and sending them flying back. Effect: Focused energy attack. If your opponent's last attack was STOPPED, lower your opponent's anger 1 level. SUCCESSFUL - Your opponent's energy attacks do a maximum of 3 direct damage for the remainder of combat. Learning Days: 2 (10) Goku's Kamehameha [ENERGY, BEAM] Advanced Attack Description: Cupping their hands atop one another, the user brings both hands back as they charge the attack. Upon completion, the arms are thrown forward, bringing with them a massive energy beam. Effect: Energy attack doing 6 direct damage. You may discard "Goku's Kamehameha" from your Hand to STOP a Beam-type energy Advanced Attack whose attack roll result is 22 or less instead of rolling a defensive roll. If your attack roll result is 27 or more, this attack does +2 direct damage. Learning Days: 2 (11) Kurokonwaku Dark Energy Spiral [ENERGY, BEAM] Advanced Attack Description: The user steadies their arm as a coil of black energy gathers before being quickly shot out at the opponent as a beam of spiraled energy. Effect: Focused energy attack doing 6 direct damage. SUCCESSFUL - You may discard any amount of moves in your Hand and draw at random an equal amount. Learning Days: 3 (12)Kiihakai Heat Seeking Blast [ ENERGY, BEAM ] Advanced Attack Description: Similar to a Kamehameha, the user's arms are drawn back in a cupped fashion before being pushed forward unleashing a medium-sized beam that locks onto an opponent's energy signature and follows them, making it difficult to dodge. Effect: Energy attack doing 6 direct damage. Your base attack roll for this attack is 1d50. You cannot perform energy attacks for the remainder of combat. If you have 1 or less moves in your Hand when you perform this attack, lose 2 power stages. Learning Days: 4 Blocks [1/2 Slots] (13) Chomsky’s Perseverance [BLOCK] Description: Chomsky readies himself for his opponent’s attack, standing his ground bravely.
