The Phoenix of Earth
[Space Travel, Frieza #79 -> Vegeta, Day 1]
[Transformation RP]
[900/800 Words]
[140 Exp, 50 Zenni]

Keroth felt overwhelmed by the high power levels on Frieza #79. Although he had tripled his strength since he first left Plants, he was still so far behind the elite agents on either side of the war. He needed something more than just strength; he needed technique. His scouter had picked up the communication signal from the PTO when he first landed on the planet, but last night was the first time that he heard any useful information. They were giving reports of someone else with the Phoenix Aura, and they were on Earth.

“Maybe I can learn something from them, something to give me a big enough advantage to make a difference. Come on Fred, let’s get off this rock.”

The Saibaman nodded at Keroth, following him on board of their new space ship, The Frontier. Fred seemed anxious during the flight, and Keroth couldn’t quite figure out why, until Fred began tugging on Keroth’s arm, trying to pull him away from the cockpit. “Fine, you little rascal, I’ll cave. Are you hungry or something? …Do Saibamen eat?”

He set the ship on auto-pilot for Earth and followed Fred to a large circular room with a control pad on the side. Fred lured him into the room and locked the door before grinning and snickering.

“Alright buddy, what are you playing at?” Fred pointed to a sign on the wall, marking this room as a training room. “Wanna have a go, eh? Alright, I could use the practice, but I won’t go easy on you.”

Keroth’s eyes deceived him, the green Saibaman disappeared just before delivering one kick to the back of Keroth’s knee, and another kick to his back. Keroth hit the wall hard, but the ship was made of strong material and the wall remained undamaged. “Fuck, ow! You little turd, you got a good hit in there bu-“ Fred’s fist imprinted itself on Keroth’s cheek. The blow would have sent him flying, but he was hit sideways into the circular wall, sending him in a crescent around the room. He stood up, his knees shaking and his vision blurry. He could see Fred walking over to the control panel in the room and holding his hand over a large red button. Just before it was pressed, Keroth could read that the panel was marked as ‘Gravitron’.

Shiiiii-

His shaking knees caved in as the air around him pushed down harder, and Fred seemed to strain under the weight too. “I get it…Taking this pretty seriously, huh? Well, I’m not gonna get any stronger by just getting beaten on.” Keroth fueled his body with Ki, using Bukujutsu to help him stand in the increased gravity. He charged forward at his green sparring partner, swinging at his head. Fred used the increased gravity to help him drop to the ground, dodging the blow. Keroth took advantage of this and swung a kick at Fred, who flew straight up to Keroth’s hip, avoiding any real damage from the attack.

Fred dashed straight up and uppercut Keroth, knocking him back a couple feet. “Damn it, Fred, when did you get this strong?”

Alright, I’m not gonna win this by trying singular blows. Gotta go in for quantity over quality here. He dashed himself at Fred, using Ki to propel himself forward before dashing to the side and behind his opponent, seeming to disappear like Fred did before him. He kneed Fred in the back, grabbing him by the head and throwing him at the wall. He didn’t want to lose the advantage, so he charged at Fred and launched a flurry of blows at the disoriented Saibaman, pummeling him into the ground.

Panicking, Fred released a bright shining energy attack that temporarily blinded Keroth. He kicked the Half-Saiyan into the opposite wall and charged all of his energy into one attack. The crackling blast flew at Keroth just as Fred realized that he had gone overboard and that they were on a space ship. Keroth looked up to see the blue energy racing towards him.

“RETARD, WE'RE IN SPACE!” He shouted as he filled his arms with his fiery red ENERGY. Charging all of his power into shielding his arms, he deflected the blow and knocked it to his right, cracking a hole in the wall. The vacuum of space pulled him to the hole, sucking the oxygen out of the ship. Keroth could see his life flash before his eyes; the death of his parents, his arrival on Rein, his harsh training, the attacks by the Saiyans, the android Clare, the monster Snare. Throughout all of these events, he fought back. Throughout everything, his own power allowed him to prevail. Despite the odds, he always pulled through and refused to quit; he refused to let this be any different.

His whole body began to glow red, he could feel his aura intensifying. By burning his energy into the wall, he metal melted the damaged sides into the crack, sealing it shut. He had never felt so strong before, and the energy he had built up was unlike anything he’d called on before. It was like all of his life he was preserving his strength, simply to become like this one day.

“Fred, bring us down to the nearest planet. We need some proper repairs.” Fred nodded, afraid of the strength Keroth had gained. “I’ll be staying here, I’m not going to pass this up.” Keroth pulled out the training equipment and set the Gravitron up to x10 gravity. It was time to see just how powerful he had become.

"A medically unacceptable amount of adrenaline is pumped through the veins of the fighter. Lesser warriors would find themselves going into shock, but those who can push through are able to achieve great power. Besides the obvious levels of stress, the only physical indication of the transformed Human is their aura which pales and takes on an almost whirlwind characteristic."
