The Space Bandit

[ Ship: The Bearded Lady. Traveling Time: 1 Day ( -1 Traveling Time due to Changeling Armor Set ) ] How thoughtful of Sertelem to not be here and leave Father Time ahead of his security. This won't be half as cool if I don't get to aim a gun at that Shiki's head though. As he lurked, trying to determine the best way for him to swoop in and knock the old fellow out, an exclamation point bleeped up over Quick's head as he too heard the chainsaw on the docking doors. If that's Billy, I swear on everything... She wouldn't have stalked him here, right? Brutii were crazy, but not that crazy, he prayed. He still had a few seconds, but once he climbed to the peak of a tall stack of shipping boxes, the old man had already run for a mech. A fucking mech. Fuckin' rich people, I tell ya... Looked like Quick would be sitting this one out. Sure, he was fast, agile, etc., etc., but he wasn't going to take a chance against a fucking mech, no way jose. He flattened himself atop of the storage crates, staring at the bay doors until a Vaaniti carrying what Quick suspected as an android entered from behind them. So, Sertelem has Father Time, Marlon Brando and Marsha Brady for a crew. Delightful. I wonder who has dibs on the love interest that haircut is carrying. Either ways - this is going to be a whole lot of f-u-u-n. Fuun. The Blue Baron hid himself from edge of the high up storage crate - awaiting his chance to move. Extra, extra, read all about it: TUFFLES DIE DAILY

Tweedie, Doc, and Prodigy walked right by Quick as they made their way to the med bay, Doc still carrying the android, and none of them were the wiser that they had an unauthorized visitor aboard the ship. Quick may have had a mouth on him, and he may not have been playing with a full deck -- what pirate would tell his crew the things he did? Look where it got him -- but he was good at his job, blending into the shadows by the cargo containers despite the glowing yellow eyes of his signature mask. Griffon arrived twenty minutes later, but by that time the brigand would have had more than enough time to secret himself away in one of the out-of-the-way nooks and crannies of the ship, ready to formulate his plan for taking the ship. Hopefully he had the common sense not to trek back into the exhaust pipes, because no sooner had Griff returned did the engines begin to stir. Within ten minutes they were exiting port, lazily rising into the air and breaking atmosphere on the way home. The problem solver.

Is she dead? You know, for all the combat you’ve seen, how can you not tell the difference between a living person and dead person? Yeah, well, Androids are a different story. I thought you were the biggest, baddest techie this side of the galaxy, Prodigy. Hey, if you want me to fix your toaster oven, I’m all over that. But, as far as artificial life goes, you’re gonna have to find someone else. The young Changeling wags his long tail in anticipation. Is he worried about this girl? I’m relatively certain that they just met. I’m going to assume that it’s just his teenage hormones and move on. I know human women make him go mad—and I guess the fact that she’s an Android doesn’t bother him any. Poor kid. He’ll outgrow it one day. Hopefully. So, I assume we aren’t needed here? Tweedie nods, and sort of brushes me off. I don’t pay him any mind though, he’s just the hired help. Prodigy and I begin to meander towards the bridge to meet up with Griff. Wonder if he’s all right. So, what about the mission? What about the mission? You want to talk about it? Just about as much as I want to pull out my own molars. I’ll pass. We got the job done, there’s no need to talk about it. Suit yourself. I’ll be exploring the ship. Fine by me. Just don’t get lost. Yeah, we knocked out the communications on Frieza, but not without some complications, of course. Things are never dull in my life, but that’s a story for another time. Love Suicide

For once, Clare was silent. Silence was a very unlikely characteristic for Clare and yet she was. The moment that Clare got on board the ship she excused herself quickly, taking refuge in another part of the ship away from the others. Here, Clare obtained her peace of mind, using the time alone to figure out what she was going to do next. The group was heading to Earth – Earth being the place where her fragmented memory had taken place. She was unsure what it all meant but Clare knew that the man from her memory was most likely still alive. He was on Earth somewhere. Clare touched her lips, her fingertips faintly brushing over them as she closed her eyes, her brows knitting together as she tried her best to forget about the man’s face. There was no point in thinking about him while she was in space and Clare wasn’t sure if she even wanted to think about him in the first place. |
