R&D, Earth ■ Current Location: Earth Alignment: Rogue History: Why is it that the ears are always the first to wake? "...yes...y-yes...don't...stop...please doc...don't..." The sounds get the mind going but it's never as it should be, not a surprise since all I got was one side of the story. I always seem to get only one side to any story. Then when I get the whole tale, well...It's not quite the finish I expected. Lights sting my eyes at first but sooner or later they adjust to the grime I'm submerged in. Can't really see through but it is enough to get the rest of the senses going. Don't know why at first, but the red smears inches from my face get the hair on the back of my neck rising and before I know it, the sleepyness subsides and a fist that I can only assume is my own smashes what can only be glass as I find myself being a witness really to my own escape. That is until I don't want to witness it anymore. Hunger. Blood. Even my brain is being faster than I am right now. All I can really do is watch as the fangs and claws grow out of me, watch in awe and in horror as the half naked lab assistant bleeds before me. Watch as I feast. I'd puke my guts out right now if I wasn't enjoying it so much and that's the problem, I enjoy every last moment of it. Gaining control of my body requires more than just a little will, but I do finally put her down with a growl. The fangs recede. The hunger dies. I comb her hair away from her lifeless face. She didn't scream, didn't turn away. I come to realize that she never wanted to really, that whoever the good doctor was he didn't ask her nicely, he took. Funny thing is, they call me a monster. Mastery[0 Slots] Akaikaru Assault Mastery Mastery Description: Staying active is very important if you want to remain successful in combat. It will keep you sharp and powerful. Using the momentum from your past victories, you can be able to overpower your foes with a relentless pace, no matter how big or strong. Effect: At the start of combat, if the last attack you performed during the previous combat was an Akaikaru attack, your physical attacks do +3 power stages of damage for the remainder of combat. If not, they do +1 power stage of damage for the remainder of combat instead. Requirement: You must know three Akaikaru techniques. Skills[2 Slots] Akaikaru Vehemence Basic Skill Description: Hostility comprises the very essence of a good Akaikaru student. Their energy is caustic; saturated with malicious intent, surrounding themselves with their own ki is often enough to destroy or weaken foes who cannot stand up to such unrefined, raw energy. Effect: RESTRICTEDx2. Your attack rolls gain +3 to the results for the remainder of combat. For the remainder of combat whenever your opponent STOPS one of your attacks, they lose 2 Health. (Your opponent's Health cannot drop below 1 with this effect). Akaikaru Intense Grudge Constant Skill Description: Once an Akaikaru student gets mad in battle, he stays mad until the job is done. Fear or calm are two absent words in his dictionary. Effect: RESTRICTEDx2. CONSTANT - Your anger level cannot be lowered. Mastery: You cannot revert back to Base Form by your opponent's effects. Advanced Attacks[4 Slots] Akaikaru Fury Strikes [ PHYSICAL, PUNCH, KICK ] Description: A series of claw-like swipes at the opponent followed up by a palm thrust to the bridge of the nose. With the opponent dazed, the user leaps off their shoulders and delivers a series of downward kicks to their skull. Effect: Physical attack doing +2 power stages of damage. SUCCESSFUL - If your attack roll is 25 or higher, your opponent cannot gain power stages for the remainder of combat. Akaikaru Continuous Knee Smash [ PHYSICAL, KNEE, HOLD ] Advanced Attack Description: Wrapping both hands around the back of their opponent’s head, the attacker pulls on the back of their skull to send their head down; simultaneously driving repeated knees into their face. Effect: Physical attack doing +2 power stages of damage. SUCCESSFUL - If your attack roll is 20 or higher, your opponent's PUR gains -1 until the end of their next turn. Akaikaru Shock Fist [ PHYSICAL, ENERGY, PUNCH, MANIPULATED KI ] Advanced Attack Description: Focusing so much ki into their hand it becomes visible and audible – it resembles a high-pitched scream – the attacker rushes forward, driving their hand into their foe with the intent of thrusting it straight through them. Effect: Physical attack doing +1 power stage of damage. You cannot exceed -9 to their defensive dice results with this attack's effect. SUCCESSFUL - Raise your anger 1 level and your opponent's defensive dice results gain -3 until they perform a SUCCESSFUL energy attack. Akaikaru Flamethrower [ ENERGY, BEAM ] Advanced Attack Description: With one arm extended, a swirl of energy with red, orange and yellow hues is sent forth in a beam. Effect: Energy attack doing 2 direct damage. Mastery: Your opponent skip's their next attack phase and if you perform a physical attack during your next attack phase, it gains +3 to the result. SUCCESSFUL - Raise your anger 1 level. Akaikaru Rolling Thunder [ ENERGY, BEAM, VOLLEY ] Advanced Attack Description: The user sends a harsh beam into the opponent‘s chest, lifting them into the air. Giving pursuit the user continues to unleash a series of fast paced ki blasts into them knocking them about while disorienting them in the process. Effect: Energy attack doing 6 direct damage. Raise your anger 1 level. SUCCESSFUL - If your attack roll result is 20 or higher, your attacks for the remainder of combat gain +4 dice sides. Requirement: Bukujutsu Akaikaru Anger Eruption [ ENERGY, BLAST, MANIPULATED KI ] Advanced Attack Description: The attacker swiftly moves close to his opponent, lets out a scream of anger, and creates an energy field around him, pushing his foe away with great force. Effect: Energy attack doing X direct damage. Raise your anger 1 level. X = Your anger level + 2. SUCCESSFUL - Gain 2 power stages. Blocks[2 Slots] Akaikaru Dazzling Gymnastics Block Description: Light on their feet with top notch reflexes, the Akaikaru user twirls, flips, and evades the attack with grace. Effect: RESTRICTEDx1. Stop a physical attack. Remain 1. Your next attack gains +2 to the results. VII's Experimental Breed Block Description: Being of a new breed of Vampire to walk the earth, VII has the advantage of not sharing the weakness of his distant cousins. Effect: RESTRICTEDx1. Stop any attack. If this is used when an opponent rolls a perfect roll ignore Some Legends Are True racial CON.
