Boosts are one of the most important aspects within the Dragon Ball Roleplay. Due to the way we have set out the training guide, it is very hard to attain a high level of power just through training. Which is why we have created 'Boosts'. Boosts allow characters to become stronger and can be given under certain circumstances. [Boost #1; Events] Boosts will always occur after an event, though the boost will only be given to those who have participated in the Event. If you come into the Event in an unreasonable, unrealistic way and spamming everyone to hell, you will not be boosted. You may also be considered void until the next Event. The boosts given vary depending on how well the person has roleplayed. If we think you have portrayed your character good enough, you will more-or-less get a higher boost then others. This will also account for how descriptive your lines are. I'm not referring to how long the line is, I'm referring to the detail within it. [Boost #2; Scening] If an Administrator, moderator or roleplaying council watches over a scene and believes it to be good, he/she will have the power to boost everyone who participated. Boosts from this kind of way will not be as big as boosts given in Events, as that is what makes Events special. The maximum boost given towards the scening roleplayers is 2, 000 bp/pl. This will change constantly as the roleplay progresses. [Boost #3; Creation] Now, these will not be given out early within the Roleplay due to what they are for. If the roleplay has progressed to a certain degree and newly created characters start off too low to compete with the older characters, boosts will be handed out as soon as people create their character. Obviously the boost will vary depending on the race the person is, along with the current situation on their designated planet. |
