We're going 3d!

All right, so, since there were no major demurs in the staff, this game will now be completely done in 3d.

Essentially, this game will still use 2d sprites, but, they will be rendered in a 3d plane and world. So, it'll look a bit like Paper Mario without the paper effect. To add, this game will no longer be as heavily reliant on sprites. We'll now start drawing images(VIA OpenCanvas) and coloring them instead of making them tiles. This will not only make the game look better, but also speed up the progress. Character sprites, however, will still be sprited.

Here's a primitive example.

Right now, that's what we have. However, I expect to add things like clouds that slowly moving on the background, little aesthetic touchups such as bones laying in the desert and rotting logs laying near the woods to make the overworld and game in general beautiful to walk in, and a minimap, so you won't get lost!

So, I'm still useful? Huzzahz!

EXCEPT...

When going 3D, a lot of attention needs to be payed to camera. As such, I think that we need to have a zoom out/in option, and rotate camera option.
