If only KBDI had listened! These are plans that the North Carolina group has:

Time Sunday, February 27 ยท 6:00pm - 11:30pm

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Location UNC-TV Studios
10 TW Alexander Drive
RTP, NC

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Created By North Carolina EastEnders Fan Club

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

More Info The annual UNC-TV Festival fundraiser is just a few weeks away! Our club is invited back this year to staff the phones on the evening of Sunday, February 27, from 6:00-11:30 p.m. As usual, UNC-TV will air a marathon of EastEnders episodes beginning at 9:00 p.m.

For the past 13 years, NC EastEnders fans have managed to bring in enough money on EastEnders night to pay for the complete cost of the show! This is the surest way for us... to guarantee the long-term future of EastEnders on UNC-TV.

I'm asking for your help filling all the chairs to answer phones. Volunteering is easy work, with long breaks to enjoy catered food and watching EE on the monitors. You'll have a great time meeting fellow club members and talking on the phone to EE fans from all over the state. EE fans are a friendly bunch!

This year, the shift is from 6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. There will be a brief training session at 6:00 to teach you all you need to know about answering the phones. If you can't stay for the entire 6:00-11:30 shift, please sign up anyway and let me know what time you need to leave.

Festival is held at the UNC-TV studios in Research Triangle Park, just outside of Durham. Here is a map and directions: http://www.unctv.org/aboutus/directions.html

Thanks so much for your time and help!

Cheers,
Dave See More
