I don't know if any of you are interested or not, but on one of my trips to England and Ireland (2005) I kept a journal. Actually I have kept journals on a number of trips, but they are in their original hand written form. This one, I happened to type up and post on an old AOL travel board.

If you are interested in reading it, I'm attempting to attach here. It is a Word document. It's full of typos, grammatical errors and not very well written IMO! But you might enjoy it. Please don't feel obligated to read it...it's long (you'll need at least a couple of cuppas)!

This was a solo trip and before I really made any friends over there. I also was a bit more naive about London than I am now...so keep that in mind

Try clicking on the link....hopefully it will work. If you can't open it, I can email it to you.

Hope you enjoy Velvet! It's long, but very detailed. I just reread it and can't believe I ate so much junk food. Yikes! I like the Ireland part the best.
