Alfie rocks! His character is never boring...would love to be friends with him in real life. He cares about his family and friends.

Scott, I worked at KUBD Chan 59 when it was a Spanish station. Worked there for 5 years and when I left I spoke no more Spanish than I did when I got there. Although I mostly worked the graveyard shift which was the only time of day that the programming was in English, so I'll use that as an excuse. :-) I then moved to Teleport Denver.

Mary Ann, forget the bad boys...I like the sweet and funny guys.

Jill when you worked there, was Ch. 59 located near Parker and Havana? I used to live near there. I know all about graveyards!!! I once interviewed at Teleport Denver for a part time job, but didn't get it.

On second thought Jill, was KUBD downtown in Ch. 6's old building? There was a station near where I used to live on Parker road and I thought it was Ch. 59.

You're kidding me Bobbie!!! For some reason I thought you lived on the other side of 225. I lived there for 18 years. We must have been in King Soopers at the same time or SOMETHING, I'm sure.

Did you shop at the King Soopers at Havana and Mississippi?

Yes, and also the one on Parker & Peoria when they opened that location. Now there's a Safeway on Mexico and Havana where I shop. They just opened a Sprouts at the old Buckingham Square location and I love it. Did you know that Buckingham Square was totally leveled and redeveloped/redesigned into a different outdoor shopping area now called "The Gardens on Havana"?

Yes Bobbie, I did know all of that. I can't remember if the Sprouts was open or not, but everything else, yes. Remember the movie theatre that was there before Safeway opened....that was a while back?

Scott, Yes, KUBD was at Parker/Iliff. Hmmm...wonder if I was working at the Teleport when you interviewed. Small world huh?

Jill, I was like a 5 minute walk to KUBD. I wished I worked there because of how close it was, but I'm sure they couldn't have paid me close to what I was making at the time.

I interviewed with Teleport in the early 90's....was thinking about a PT job there, but I don't think they wanted me because I worked at Ch. 2. Looked like an interesting place!

I am sure 59 could not have paid you even close to what 2 could pay. :-) I started at the Teleport in the early 90's, so we may have crossed paths, or just missed each other. lol
