How's everyone doing? We've recovered from our ice ordeal. The streets have cleared and the weather feels like Denver in May! We had some friends over yesterday and played Trivial Pursuit. I won two out of three games, talk about an ego booster!

My little niece came over as well. She's very precious and is now 8 weeks old. She hardly cries at all!

How's it going with everyone?

We have lots of sun and temps above 50 the past few days, but the street in front of my house still is snow-packed. At least the dogs are out and walking on the clear sidewalks. 23!

Congrats on the Trivial Pursuit wins. Have you ever played
Catch Phrase?

Bless the little babies--and y'all have a content baby! You are lucky many times over, Scott. 93!
Oi! I'm finkin' on it!

So glad your weather cleared everyone. Good on you Scott for the Trivial Pursuit wins. 6!

I am home with a sore throat today. We have a 3 day weekend so I am glad I dont have to throw myself into Monday. So what shall I do today? Hmmm...I guess I'll just have to watch EE!

And have a cuppa with some honey in it -- 136!

Maybe we should have called this forum "The Have a Cuppa Club." We laugh here whenever an EastEnder crisis brings out the teapot.

When someone says, "I'll put on the kettle, shall I?" "Of course," we say, "Tea solves every problem."

With EE episodes and a cuppa, you should feel better soon, Vel. 138!

125! Sorry you have a sore throat V. Hope you get better soon.

No, Mary Ann, I've never heard of Catch Phrase. I've hardly played board games for years and Trivial Pursuit has been my all time favorite, but I hardly have anyone who wants to play with me!

Yes, when they want to have a serious conversation, they always "put the kettle on". 136!

Or if one person is in great dispair, they go sit in the swing at the playground....I always thought that was so funny! 137!

I never made that connection; but too true--the playground swing is the depression center. Can the same be said for the park, particularly Arthur's bench--or what about the allotments? Are there certain emotions connected with those spots? 54!

Oh cheers you guys. Ive been taking oil of oregano and it really helps. I havent taken any antibiotic for 6 years and i dont plan too, so i try to knock everything out naturally.
I was raised on cups of tea. I love when they pour a cup on EE and you can see all that lovely steam.

You guys are so right about the swings, how funny. Maybe because its off in a little corner so they have a tiny bit of peace.
