Yes, Donna it certainly will. I have a friend who lives in Yorkshire (northern England) who is going down to London with some friends to join the crowd. 9!

What the heck is the London Eye? I was there for a total of 14 months and missed out on something so cool-sounding as the London Eye?
Spectacular photo, Scott!

The London Eye was part of the Christmas Eve storyline in 2001, when Jim Branning proposed to Dot Cotton.

It was one of those rare episodes shot out of Walford. It was really modern how they had the oldest couple in that fancy contraption-kinda unexpected for those 2.

Wow! Now I know what the London Eye is (next time I go to Ol' Blighty ... I'm gonna get on that thing!) and thanks for posting that vid, Velvet! I do have a hazy recollection of seeing that scene and prolly did think to myself 'where is that?' but just priceless to see that again and make the connection. Gosh, I just love you folks. 59!

We all want to go far to see the "eye" though!
"Stacey: The bird in the café she's a bit up herself but not too bad. Yolande in the shop, she's up herself. She's all right sometimes. Pauline in the launderette, she's a right old dragon and she's up herself. The other one just goes on about God all day. My Nan's a battleaxe. My cousin Mo's all right but my cousin Zoë, wait till you get a load of her."
Ruby: Do you ever say anything nice about anyone?"
