I thought it was a plastic piece of crap!

If you look at the recent history of the 4th Plinth, you'll see they've had all kinds of things up there, including an opportunity for people to take over and go up there for one hour and do pretty much anything they want, including getting nude. It went on 24 hours a day for several months.
