Sound Card Help

Ok, here goes.
My audio out plug (green one) broke.
I do have a digital audio out on the sound card so what I'm looking to do is find a digital audio out cable that leads to an audio in (just like the green one). Can't find it anywhere.

I'm running a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Sound Card btw. So yeah, just one cable, one end digital out, one end audio in. I don't feel like spending another $150 on a new sound card.

Anyone have any ideas?

If the digital connection you are talking about is an optical connection (almost square shape) you can't get a lead that will connect to an analogue miniplug. You will need to get one of these

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Neet%C2%AE-DAC-Digital-Analogue-Converter/dp/B0038M3ID8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1306715737&sr=1-3

And one of these leads (if you haven't already got one)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/3-5mm-Jack-Phono-Audio-Cable/dp/B000Q6LSWM/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1306715893&sr=1-2-spell

The signal from the digital connection use's a fiber optical lead so you need to convert the signal to analogue to connect to a 3.5mm jack.

Hope this helps.

I assume ya mean the socket is broken ?

i'd be inclined to have the card out and solder a new socket in, or run a line socket on wire out the back ( tatty but would save a few bucks )

failing that as JB suggested with converters......

unless of course you can get the TOSLink ( fiber ) cable to a seperate amp and run PC audio out through that all the time, it's going to be a lot better quality sound too

My bad for taking a bit to reply to both of these.

Yes, socket is broken.
Thought about soldering it, didn't want to risk it.
Seperate amp is a good idea to but when the card works my earphones about blow my head off.

Thank you Jonny the B.
Yes, square shaped. And I have actually found on my searches the item in the first link you've posted. Just wasn't sure if that was a solution or not. And I do have what's in the second link.
And yes, it helps a lot. Thank you sir. :bang
I owe you one.
