![]() [IC Information]: Character Name: Miriel Gaesor Character Race: Wood Elf Character Gender: Female Character Age: 18 Character Height: 4'10" Character Weight: 90 lb. Character Occupation: Tavern owner Personality: Miriel has a sober personality, but she is very focused, trying to keep herself busy - when she finds something worth doing, she puts all her energy into it and strives to do well. This complements her daring and adventuristic side, which often comes out when with friends, or when hunting. There is a soft side of Miriel that few people ever get to see. She is actually very easy to please, and she often wonders at the sights and sounds around her. And while she is often moving around, between working in the inn and dealing with customers, the one time she is content to sit and rest is when she is playing her flute, which was passed down to her from her mother, Lindariel. Whenever she plays, she's reminded by her mother's warm heart, and it calms her - but she is loathe to let anyone else hear her play, as she greatly underestimates her talent, which, in truth, is great. Strengths: She's a master hunter with her superb accuracy and stealthy gait. Even when she is not hunting she is known for seeming to appear out of nowhere. She is also quick on her feet, and level-headed when it comes to a tight situation. While less noticeable, she's also a notable healer, and often goes out of her way to help those in need. Weaknesses: Miriel is often impulsive: she is quick to be offended (especially at those to look down on her because of her height or gender), and consequently her tongue often runs away from her. More note worthy is her fear of the dark. Trauma from her childhood gave her the life-long fear of darkness, though she tries her best to hide it. Magical Abilities: Miriel used to piddle in small magic with her father and so knows your basic fire conjuring. And while it is not exactly magic, she excelled most in the art of healing, which, mixed with herbal lore she learned from her mother, allows her to heal wounds more quickly and efficiently than normal. To others, it may seem like magic. you've got quite a bit of weaponry there, and the roleplay hasn't even started yet... how exactly did you icly obtain theise? ( the basic equipment is clothes, 50 gold, etc, and a backpack / sachel. ) |

Haha I know. This is basically copy&pasted from a previous RP - I just changed some things in the history a bit. I'm definitely going to edit it down, however I'll be sure to buy the items ICly ASAP ![]() Edit: However, I'll be keeping the bow and arrows, though perhaps it'd be legal to have a smaller elven dagger obtained from her village? I wouldn't mind you just starting out with a wooden bow, nothing too fancy, and only a few arrow's. Then again, i'm no moderator, so you start out with nothing but 50 gold, and the clothes on your back. |

Declined Sorry to say this, but just copying and pasting won't do. I saw "Ascalon" in there, which is out of canon. Your profile is relatively vague, too. I need you to redo this, please and add more direct weakness and just make quick bullets of your abilities/strengths. The weaknesses mainly killed it. They were more like they -could- be weaknesses but could also -not- be weaknesses. You gotta' have something that can bring you down. Look at the new template. |

I'm going to have to go out on a limb and say that your fire conjuring is minuscule. To the point it's like.. a simple light for a dim path-- or possibly a way to start a bonfire. You know? I'm also going to guess that your healing is simple healing that any human could perform, since you say it involves herbal remedies.. So, since there is a very MINOR bit of magic. This is okay, but I'd like to address one more thing.. Your weakness. It's approve-able, but contradicts your own personality. Just thought you'd like to know, other than that.. Have fun. OH! And the items are absolutely fine. They're nothing too crazy like a sword made of gold or anything. So have fun. Again. P.S. I expect you to create a list of regular healing remedies. Oh, you approved it. I was going to say the following before you did, though: "In order to have healing you have to have the following weaknesses; You can't heal yourself, you have to be physically weak, you can only heal skin deep. I don't know about the lost-item spell, but having a spark spell is fine. You also tend to start with a lot of items, all of which you have to obtain icly. This includes the bow and so forth, as you start with clothes, 50 gold, and a bag or satchel. Correct that please, and thank you. ;3" |
