۞The Queen of Skulls, Anita Klaud Nine۞
Compendium
General Information
Equipment
Personality
  • Lady Anita Klaud Nine can be described as many things. Beautiful.. Gorgeous for that matter.. Strange.. Unorthodox.. and plenty more. But nothing is more indescribable as her own personality. No one really understands her. At one point, she can be the most courteous woman ever-- and in the next picosecond, she could be classified as simply insane. As said before, it is almost (or literally) impossible to ascertain the general personality of Miss Klaud Nine. A strict lady in her own working field, managing a Shipyard that is famous, or rather infamous, for their powerful import and export facilitation. All that can truly be said is when she's at work, she's strict. When she's just being social, she's unpredictable.
History
  • As a child, Lady Anita was born into the Klaud Nine nobility. The Klaud Nine was a group of peacekeepers who, did just that, kept the peace. However, their technique was.. Unorthodox. They went about maintaining a society that was almost scared of them, simply because of the power they held as peacekeepers. But, Lady Anita wasn't exactly peacekeeper material.. that would soon change. On and on, back and forth, Lady Anita was dragged between her regular studies and her little 'combat' classes. Simple self-defense techniques in order to refrain from being raped, or manhandled. The general offenses at the time. When Lady Anita had turned seventeen, she was to be adopted as Peace Keeper Mistress Anita Klaud Nine, however.. things changed. A resistance had risen and they had the majority on their side. The peacekeepers could not control the giant mass, even with the help of their skills in the magical arts and their brethren with their combat arts. The majority had trampled over the peacekeepers, and soon entered the very precipice of the Klaud Nine family.

With only several Klaud Nines alive, Anita knew she had to get into battle. Masses upon masses rushed up through the gates of the precipice as Anita readied herself for the worse. Queen Loradawn Klaud Nine and King Asteros Klaud Nine sat in their throne, before the masses- not moving an inch. The masses screeched their battlecries, and Anita (long side with the Royal Guard of the Klaud Nine) had hopped into battle. Body upon body flew into the air. None of them apart of the Klaud Nine family. As much as Anita tried, she could never defeat an opponent alone. A magister or arms guard had always been the one to appear most conducive in the battle. But the success came to a slow, and then a sudden stop. Anita stood in front of a halted crowd of mobsters. She stared at them in shame of her unability to protect the Klaud Nine name. So, in her own despair, she hastened her movement towards the crowd for utter suicide. Time seem to slow down for her, as she awaited her doom.

But.. Queen Loradawn stood tall from her throne, opening a palm that released a barrier unlike any other around the opening of the precipice. This closed the rest of the manor from the invaders and also kept Anita inside the house. Anita wondered what had happened, and looked back and forth to see a strong Queen casting an even stronger barrier. King Asteros stood too, as his wife placed her other hand to the sky in praise to the Gods. When she finished, a heavenly light shined down on Asteros, where his clothes were replaced with rune sketched armor. He quickly drew his blades and went out into battle. The bloodshed had started again, and nothing could be done to Asteros, or so it seemed. Asteros began to fall as Loradawn closed her palm, which gave way to the barrier. She began doing her own damage to the crowd, the most damage too. Together, the Queen and King fought valiantly as one. But it just wasn't enough. Worn down from battle, that was still going on, Loradawn and Asteros looked towards each other with tears. They knew they would not live, and in so, joined hands. Hugged, and kissed for their last time. The resistance had destroyed the front side of the manor, and left Loradawn, Asteros and Anita in the middle of the crowd of soldiers.. defenseless. Loradawn looked down to Anita, and finally spoke.. 'You will live on. We are old and can no longer do our family any good. Live your life, safely.' Asteros kissed Anita's forehead, and returned to hold his wife. They began chanting in synchronization, the crowd shouting foul comments as they watched. Nooses were to be fetched for the hanging of Asteros, Loradawn and Anita, and just went it arrived, the chanting stop. A hymn filled the sky, and the clouds spread apart. A beam of light shined down upon the couple, and then began to grow. Anita was blinded, and so was the barbaric crowd, and soon enough.. Anita woke up.

On her backside, she woke up to a cup of warm tea and a loaf of bread. Her body still wounded she looked around bewildered, wondering what happened to her and where she had gone. She knew she did not simply sleep walk all the way to an Inn, so how did she get there? She came-to and saw an envelope with her name on it. The envelope was rimmed with gold and the seal was of burgundy candle wax with the Klaud Nine insignia.. It read:

'rom your Father and Mother, Loradawn and Asteros Klaud Nine: We have sent you to an Inn just outside of the city of Elderbridge. No one will remember who the Klaud Nine were, no one will remember what happened that horrid day, and no one will go through the pain of knowing... We leave you here as we take our journey to the heavens with these mongrels. There is a satchel of gold and a deed to our Shipyard company way off to the east of Elderbridge city. You will remember some of this, possibly.. But for now, we wish you not to experience anymore pain our lovely child, Anita Klaud Nine.'

The letter and envelope burned to ash and drifted in an ominous wind. Anita's memory was sapped, and all she could remember was who she was, where the deed and gold were, and her training-- but not where or who she trained with/at. She started her business at the Shipyard and soon became 'The Mistress of the Shipyard'.

Today, they call her the Queen of Skulls for her strange assortment of skulls. Whether it be on her dress or in her hair, she loved to have them. She is a fine woman, with a stature that seems to tower over men. Hair that is as soft as Egyptian silk, and a voice that resembles a seductress. Her work is well paid, and her name is well known (mostly because of her av an garde personality and attire) in Elderbridge. Her medical knowledge is not as profound as most, but she can do the basics! Her combatitive work is impressing and she is known, mostly, for her seal work. Sealing is the art of magic through words, generally runes.
