Taijutsu Submission Thread

This thread is meant for the purposes of submitting Taijutsu Stances or Techniques, be they universal, unique or some other category. When submitting, please refrain from overly formatting and please don't post in here with more than your submission. If you feel that your submission isn't getting reviewed quickly enough, please remember that all Staff members have an obligation, and failure to meet that obligation is met with consequences.

When submitting a Taijutsu Stance or Technique, use the following template:

Stance Name: Every cool Taijutsu stance needs a cool name. Get creative!
Stance Creator: This shows who made the stance (If it's a Universal or Clan Stance, there's no need to list this)
Stance History: It's gotta come from somewhere. Even if it's a unique stance, tell us how your character created it.
Usable by: This shows who can use it, and here is where the above categories come into play
Universal: This means the stance is usable by anyone anywhere, with it becoming public knowledge shortly thereafter.
Village: This is only usable by those in your village. Generally the Mods don't allow more than 3 of these per village, tops.
Clan: This means that instead of using Clan Techniques, you are instead using a Taijutsu Stance for your Clan. Therefore, only those who are part of the Clan (or have express permission from the clan head) can use this stance.
Unique/Private: This is something that your character created. If it's Private, it can be passed along according to your own wishes. If it's Unique, then it will only ever be used by you.
Stance Requirements: This shows how much you need before you can even get started on this stance. It also states if you need any prerequisites outside of your stats.

Techniques, on the other hand, follow this template:

Rank: This shows what rank of technique your technique is
Cost: Save for high-level taijutsu techniques, this section usually isn't necessary.
Effect: This is what the technique does. Can range from simple to huge.

Guess I'll include the kekkei genkai here

Byakugan, White Eye
Type: Doujutsu

The byakugan is an all seeing eye that has near 360 degrees field of vision, the ability to see through walls, the ability to have telescopic sight and most importantly the ability to see the flow of chakra. There is one blind spot at the base of the users neck however. Using the byakugan for long periods of time will cause mental and physical tiredness in the user.

Those who have the byakugan have almost completely white eyes. When it is activated, the pupil becomes more distinct and blood veins near their eyes bulge out. The handseals for activating the byakugan are Horse, Tiger, Hare, rat, Dog, Boar, Dog, Hare, Tiger, Rat, Boar, Dog, Snake with the right index finger lifted up.

As long as the eye is active, the user gains near 360 degrees field of vision, see through solid objects, actively choose how far away they want to see and can see chakra.

For every 10 Kekkai Genkai, the user can see 1 meter further than a normal person.

It costs 2% chakra a turn to keep it active.

Juuken, Gentle Fist
The Gentle Fist is a hand to hand style that does not aim to hurt the enemy from the outside. Instead, the user hurts the enemy from the inside by pushing in their charka with every strike. Manipulation of where the attacks land can have greatly detrimental effects to the enemies' chakra system. Physical strength is not a factor when using the Gentle Fist, hence its name. Control over chakra is more important as being able to freely use chakra points is an important aspect of the Gentle Fist.

Usable By: Clan

Requirements: Byakugan bloodline limit (technically only required for performing the techniques, not for learning)

Name: Gentle Strike
Rank: E
Cost: 5 per hit
Effect: Every blow performed will send chakra into the targets system, causing pain and internal damage. This is also the only tech a person without the byakugan can do.

Name: Eight Trigrams 4 Palms
Rank: E
Cost: 10 per hit
Effect: The user takes a special stance to start off the attack. The attacks happen over a course of multiple turns with every turn increasing the user's attack speed.

The user strikes out rapidly 4 times. Each hit will close a chakra point, limiting the target's ability to use chakra by 1/64. If all strikes hit, the target’s chakra is approximately 6% sealed.

Total cost: 40 chakra

Name: Chakra Blade
Rank: E
Cost: 40
Effect: The user creates a small blade of chakra from a chakra point, most commonly the tips of the fingers. The blade can be used to destroy chakra based creations.

Requires 500 taijutsu, 100 kekkei genkai

Name: Eight Trigrams 8 Palms
Rank: D
Cost: 20 per hit
Effect: Can only be used Eight Trigrams 4 Palms.

The user strikes out rapidly 4 times. Each hit will close a chakra point, limiting the target's ability to use chakra by 1/64. If all strikes, including the previous stage, hit, the target’s chakra is approximately 12% sealed.

The user does not necessarily have to continue the technique on the next turn. There is a one turn period where built up momentum will not be lost.

Name: One Body Blow
Rank: D
Cost: 60 chakra per area of the body (front, back, each arm, each leg, head)
Effect: The user forcefully expels chakra from the charka points, either a few or all of them. This will blast away anything over those points.

Rank: D
Cost: 80
Effect: The user fires out a small chakra needle from one of their chakra points, most commonly the tips of the fingers. The needle can be used to destroy chakra based creations.


C Rank
Requires 1000 taijutsu, 300 kekkei genkai

Name: Eight Trigrams 16 Palms
Rank: C
Cost: 30 per hit
Effect: Can only be used Eight Trigrams 8 Palms.

The user strikes out rapidly 8 times. Each hit will close a chakra point, limiting the target's ability to use chakra by 1/64. If all strikes, including the previous stages, hit, the target’s chakra is 25% sealed.

The user does not necessarily have to continue the technique on the next turn. There is a one turn period where built up momentum will not be lost.

Name: Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm
Rank: C

Effect: A long range chakra strike that can shoot through targets, hitting them internally on the way through. It travels extremely fast and goes up to 10 meters.

Effect: This is used on the user or an ally to open their chakra points allowing them to have greater flow of chakra. Using it on the user is a simple task but performing it on an ally requires hitting their chakra points like during Eight Trigrams 2^X Palms. This can also be used to correct anything wrong with their chakra system.

Requires 3000 taijutsu, 800 kekkei genkai

Name: Eight Trigrams 32 Palms
Rank: B
Cost: 40 per hit
Effect: Can only be used Eight Trigrams 16 Palms.

The user strikes out rapidly 16 times. Each hit will close a chakra point, limiting the target's ability to use chakra by 1/64. If all strikes, including the previous stages, hit, the target’s chakra is 50% sealed.

The user does not necessarily have to continue the technique on the next turn. There is a two turn period where built up momentum will not be lost.

Name: Eight Trigrams Revolving Heaven
Rank: B
Cost: 500 per turn
Effect: The user spins around rapidly while simultaneously expelling chakra from all of their chakra points. This creates a whirling dome shield that will repel most attacks. This can be kept up as long as the user wants though the cannot move from their spot during this time.

Name: Eight Trigrams Blade Protection
Rank: B
Cost: 500 per turn
Effect: The user whirls their hands around sending forth a constant stream of chakra around them that forms a lattice dome. The lattice is actually constantly in motion and acts like a blade to anything that touches it. This can be kept up as long as the user wants though they can only move at a normal walk during this time.

Name: Eight Trigrams Vortex Palm
Rank: B
Cost: 1500
Effect: The user send out a vortex from their palm that acts as a vacuum and will draw anyone hit towards the user. The range is a cone shape 5 meters long and wide.

Name: Lion Fist
Rank: B
Cost: 750 per hand
Effect: Chakra in the shape of a lion covers one or both of the user's hand. They have powerful concussive force and will stun the target upon impact. This can also be used to destroy chakra based creations.

Effect: Can only be used Eight Trigrams 32 Palms.

The user strikes out rapidly 32 times. Each hit will close a chakra point, limiting the target's ability to use chakra by 1/64. If all strikes, including the previous stages, hit, the target’s chakra is 100% sealed.

The user does not necessarily have to continue the technique on the next turn. There is a two turn period where built up momentum will not be lost.

Effect: An extremely powerful explosion of charka happens at the user's palm. This deals great damage and will send anyone hit flying away.

Name: Eight Trigrams Heavenly Speed Palm

Cost: 20 extra per hit
Effect: This enhances the Eight Trigram 2^X Palm skills by speeding up how fast the technique is built up. It doubles the amount of hits done each turn and takes away the last turn.

For example, going up to Eight Trigrams 128 Palms will change the hits per turn like so,
Turn 1: 8 hits
Turn 2: 8 hits
Turn 3: 16 hits
Turn 4: 32 hits
Turn 5: 64 hits
The 6th turn is dropped.

The cost will count at the same level where that amount of hits normally occur so 8 hits is 30 per hit, 16 hits is 40 per hit, 32 hits is 50 per hit, 64 is 60 per hit

Name: Eight Trigrams 128 Palms

Effect: Can only be used Eight Trigrams 64 Palms.

The user strikes out rapidly 64 times. Each hit will close a chakra point, limiting the target's ability to use chakra by 1/64. This attack is meant to be used against multiple foes as 64 strikes is enough to completely seal one target’s chakra.

The user does not necessarily have to continue the technique on the next turn. There is a three turn period where built up momentum will not be lost.

Taijutsu Style:
I need to think of a name...

As a child of nobility Ren Akane has had a privileged childhood. She has had the opportunity to be taught and learn the techniques of her clans unique Kekkei Genkai as well as personal training in all other forms of shinobi techniques. Ren discovered at a young age through these trainings her Ninjutsu and Ginjutsu skills left a lot to be desired. However despite these adversities she found a natural ease with the techniques that had been passed down through her clan, as well as in taijutsu. From a young age she was often left alone, to do her training in solitude or with a single trainer, and in this free time she started to develop the makings of her own personal Taijutsu stance, incorporating movements and chakra usage she found to be the most comfortable and easy.

Ren’s natural tendency is toward her family’s blood element, and her combat stance centralizes around that theme. Her use of chakra while using the techniques of this stance enables her to cause major internal and external damage as each strike she delivers manipulates the blood in the region.

Effect: By holding her hand over any wound on her body Ren is able to control the loss of blood from that wound though her basic affinity toward blood.

Effect: Ren launches the same short series of punches as in Fluttering Punches, only she empowers them with chakra causing each to feel much more substantial as she forces the blood from the surface of her victims skin, rupturing small capillaries and causing substantial bruising.
Requirement: 100 Taijutsu

Sweeping Kick

Cost: 25
Effect: In combat Ren doesn’t like to lift her feet far from the ground. Using this low to the ground kick, Ren’s aim is to disable her opponent’s legs by using a blast of chakra to pull the blood from the surface the skin in the region of the legs she kicks, typically the shin. While this technique does little internal damage, it does open a small gash as the blood exits the skin, and leaves her a tiny amount of the victims blood that condenses on her own foot. This amount is minute, not even and eighth of a litre, but the wound caused is the key aspect of this attack.

Blood Grasp

Effect: A huge aspect of Ren’s combat performance is finding exposed blood in order for her to use her Clan’s Kekkei Genkai and techniques. Using this technique she grabs a hold of any section of her opponents body she can hold onto, her hands arched with her palm an inch away from the person, and her fingertips are touching them. In a mere instant she rips a small amount of flesh from the victim (dime sized in diameter). The blood then drains from the flesh, and stays in her hand until she dismisses it or uses it.
Requirement: 150 Taijutsu

Fluttering Beat
Rank: D
Cost: 50
Effect: This attack is an open palmed attack in which Ren strikes an opponent’s body typically in the arms, chest of abdomen. She then forcefully moves the blood in the area under her palm about a millimeter, not enough to cause major bleeding but enough to rupture capillaries and cause bruising. This technique also causes a major about of force to the area making the attack feel as if someone twice Ren’s size is punching the victim.
Requirement: 150 Taijutsu

Bloody Nails
Rank: D
Cost: 50
Effect: Using this technique Ren coagulates a tiny amount of blood onto each of her finger tips, creating tiny nails that ren can use to scratch opponents. Each time they draw blood Ren can pull a small amount of blood from the victim and harden it with the claws, causing them to grow longer and longer as the fight goes on.
Requirement: 150 Taijutsu

First up, Finny with his "Ray charles eye style" aka Byakugan: APPROVED w/ changes

We talked it over, add the five turn fade onto the trigram palms with needing to strike to renew and we're good.

Switch, be glad chat wasn't allowed to name this. I can't see any major issues with the techniques as is. Way of the Menstrual Fist / Bloody Dance / Bloody Mary / Twilight Special / Sparkle Fist / what ever the heck you'll call it: APPROVED

Effect: This taijutsu is one of the first emphasis on the Yang nature of the clan’s releases. Infusing their body’s with the life of smoke, they create a sympathetic resonance with the chakra of smoke releases. As such, when moving through smoke, the user of this taijutsu technique does not disturb or displace it in any manner. The effect lasts for 3 rounds.

This enables the appendage to absorb greatly piercing and dispirate attacks, a smaller reduction in slashing, but will quickly shatter on strong crushing damage.

Effect: This Taijutsu quickly wraps a source of smoke and binds it in the form of a single extra limb to the user. It is resilient and dangerous, taking the shape assigned, and is manipulated based on the wearer’s taijutsu.

Effect: A coveted and forbidden taijutsu of the clan, this allows the user to bind and animate two ‘independent’ appendages to themselves. The nature of these appendages are left to the imagination of the user. They fight of their own accord, given their own devious intellect, to the best of their ability to aid the wearer of the graft. A weak will or mind can suffer detrimental results when using this form of combat, and thus, it is taught to few, if any, in a given generation.

Taijutsu Style: Doku Youshiki: Sanshouuo no Mai (Poison Style: Salamander Dance)

Stance Creator: Junbei the Serpent

Style History: Created before the creation of the five great shinobi villages this style has been an assassination art that everyone has, at the very least, heard about. It is widely practiced and even more widely feared. A secret art that one is chosen for by one of the styles travelling acolytes. The student is taken under their wing and taught the secrets to using poisons in hand to hand combat.

Originally created by the greatest poison user in written history, Junbei the Serpent, this style allowed the user to cause minor pinpricks in combat. This doesn’t cause much physical damage but allows for a lot of chances to poison the opponent. The master of this style died after years of competent leadership by one of his underlings. Many believe this was done poorly, since most of Junbei’s knowledge was lost to them, but they’re still a feared organization.

Usable By: Private. Must be trained by one of the Salamander Acolytes.

Stance: The user tends to hide various poisons on or about their person. Whether they are poisoned kunai or just small vials of poison that allow for poisonous smoke-bombs these are varied and can be a good means of poisoning.

Last Dance: Doku Shin no Akutai (Curse of the poison god)
Stance Effect: Causes the user to get ingested with a poison in their very lungs. Allows for the use of "Breath of the poison god." Causes the user to begin to slowly cough up blood, begin bleeding from the nose when they use their chakra, or some other effect of the users choice. The poison will kill the user within 5 years of taking it, although each 5000 in one's Taijutsu stat adds a year to the lifespan of the user for withstanding the poison killing them. The first 5000 Taijutsu gives the user the 5 year time limit.
Requirements: 5000 Taijutsu.

Basic Requirements: A natural aptitude and/or immunity towards poisons. At least 50 Taijutsu and 50 Speed.

E-Rank Techniques:

Name: Dokuhebi no Ouda (Viper Strike)
Rank: E-Rank
Cost: none
Effect: The use jabs quickly at an arm or the body of an opponent with a small knife or kunai. This is a quick attack and can cause the users arm to seem to blur from some of the victims point of view.
Requirements: 50 Taijutsu, 50 Speed.

Name: Doku Kumo (Poison Cloud)
Rank: D-Rank
Cost: none
Effect: By using a vial of poison that explode into a cloud the user can hide within it as long as they can last. Or they can use it to escape and anyone who chases them that isn't immune to that poison begins coughing uncontrollably.

D-Rank Techniques:

Name: Kumo ha Kamu (Spider Bites)
Rank: D-Rank
Cost: 15 per strike.
Effect: The user jabs quickly with more then one knife, aiming multiple strikes at the body, arm and even face. Usually used with a poisoned weapon that allows for a quick poisoning. Most of these wounds will be non-lethal without the poison, unless the user gets lucky.
Requirements: 100 Taijutsu and 150 Speed.

Name: Doku Suicchi (Poison Switch)
Rank: D-Rank
Cost: 25
Effect: The user quickly pulls a poison, whether a vial or a poisoned weapon, from where they store it on their body. Using this technique they can quickly, and easily, apply a poison to a weapon that isn’t poison.
Requirements: 100 Taijutsu, 250 Speed.

C-Rank Techniques:

Name: Suzumebachi no Sashi Kizu (Wasp Sting)
Rank: C-Rank
Cost: 25 per strike
Effect: The user strikes for vital points with their weapons. This is most effective if the target is struck from behind.
Requirements: 350 Taijutsu 500 Speed.

Name: Doku Surasshu (Poison Slash)
Rank: C-Rank
Cost: 750
Effect: The user slashes with a poisoned weapon, a wide slash that is more likely to give a shallow cut then an actually fatal or deep wound. Best used with some kind of poison.
Requirements: 400 Taijutsu, 550 Speed.

B-Rank Techniques:

Name: Chakra no Chuudoku (Chakra Poisoning)
Rank: B-Rank
Cost: 2500 chakra
Effect: Can poison an opponents chakra for a whole day. This causes, on a successful hit, the victim to feel an oily sickness in their chakra that makes them feel nauseous every time they use their chakra for something. The more chakra they use the sicker they feel.
Requirements: 1250 Taijutsu.

Name: Sanshouuo no Ouda (Salamander Strike)
Rank: B-Rank
Cost: 55 per Strike
Effect: The user can actually poison the opponent from an unarmed strike now. This allows for the use of Chakra Poisoning and Poisoning the Well.
Requirements: 1500 Taijutsu 1750 Speed.

A-Rank Techniques:

Name: Ido no Doku (Poisoning The Well)
Rank: A-Rank
Cost: 5% of users chakra per day of poisoning up to a week.
Effect: Same effect as chakra poisoning except it can last up to a week. The sickening feeling is also stronger making them have heavier dizzy spells and sickness each time they use chakra.
Requirements: 2500 Taijutsu

S-Rank Techniques:

Name: Atsuryoku Doku Soufuu (Pressure Poison Blast)
Rank: S-Rank
Cost: 15% of users chakra per blast.
Effect: Causes a blast of pressurized poisonous liquid to shoot outwards from the users fist and is aimed at the target. This is an expensive technique and saturates the area with lethal poisons that not even the user is immune to.
Requirements: 5000 Taijutsu.

Name: Doku Shin no Kokyuu (Breath of the poison god)
Rank: S-Rank
Cost: 25% of the users chakra to fill an area of ten feet with a poison cloud.
Effect: A forbidden technique due to the fact that it causes the user to ingest a poison into their lungs. This technique is good for covering a large area with a poisonous cloud. This poison will eventually kill the user but until then they will be able to use this technique for as long as their chakra holds out.
Requirements: 5500 Taijutsu, Curse of the poison god.
