Tsume Tendo - Godaime Hokage
Chakra: 30,000
Ninpo: 25,000
~Ninjutsu~ 18,000
~Genjutsu~ 3,000
~Taijutsu~ 4,000
Strength: 1,000
Speed: 4,000
Seishi: 25,000

Age: 71

Appearance: To most he is a senile old man, complete with sun spots on his forehead and an innumerable set of wrinkles that hide a vacant smile and half open eyelids. Among his peers, he is sharper, even more awake looking and his vacant expression looks much more stoic.

Personality: Above all, Tendo is a kind man. Having inherited his title of Godaime Hokage when he was very young, he has lived most of his adult life in war. Despite this, he hates war and goes out of his way to avoid wartime situations.

In such a long lifetime, he has found that even to avoid war, he must be shrewd and quick to action. He tries to be decisive and forthright when dispatching ninja’s for espionage, negotiating/meeting with non-allied villages or assisting an allied village.

Outside of his duties as Hokage, he is playful, playing pranks. He is always hiding from his advisors via disguises as farmers or commoners or even a normal ninja. He oft appears more unaware then he actually is due to this playfulness. Tendo doesn’t mind that many who don’t know him well don’t take him seriously and despite his title and hard work to rise to his position he occasionally he wishes that his grandson, a chuunin named Tsume Shichiroji would take his ninja duties less seriously and have more fun. Shichiroji is considered Jounin level in many areas, though in critical areas he can sometimes fall short. He doesn’t think he has enough time to study to pass those critical tests since he spends most of his free time assisting Tendo’s advisors in the running of Konoha, making him an unofficial important piece of Konoha affairs.

Even though he causes his share of headaches, Tendo is popular among the nobles within the Land of Fire and is prepared to lay down his life in order to protect the village.

History: Tendo has lived almost two lifetimes in war, in his recent history he has taken on more of a conciliatory role to smaller villages expressing a desire to live in peace. In the past, he would dodge many of his responsibilities in order to do reconnaissance on his own, leaving the daily running of Konoha to his advisors but he seems to have outgrown leaving the village altogether.

During his early life, Tendo was priviledged to meet the Shodaime Hokage, which made a strong impression on him. Throughout his life, the Nidaime Hokages, the Sandaime and Yondaime Hokages passed quickly into the pages of history yet carried on perfectly the Shodaime's Will of Fire. His father before him was chosen as the Yondaime Hokage at a late age. Yondaime was killed in a fierce battle, leaving Tendo as both inheritor and best qualified to take the title of Godaime. To date, he has held the title of Hokage longest, most Konoha ninja aren’t even old enough to remember Godaime in his prime.
