So this is what's up with school for me lately. 1. In several classes (Geometry, Digital Design, and the bus ride home) I have to deal with constant drug references, including fairly legit admissions to smoking marijuana ("Yeah, I have three bags left" and such). I feel that if you're going to do it, don't freaking tell me, you sound like an idiot and it shouldn't be something you go tell on the mountain. 2. I've heard quite a few report cards. Most involve 6 F's and a D. One of my friends (unfortunately a Twilight addict) is managing two D's, so he's ahead of the curve. (For the record, I have four A's and three B's). 3. Due to the above two reasons, my school has been put on the No Child Left Behind list. Yes, this means that the government has sent a slip of paper asking parents to join the PTA. I don't know if any other action will be taken. 4. I get along with the teachers, they're mostly okay, except the art teacher. I'm currently in "2D Art" (which is what it says on every schedule), yet I have not once been directed to do anything two-dimensional. We have so far been working in ceramics, constructing masks, pots (although some students made bongs, which the teacher thankfully destroyed), and a plaque with our name on it. 5. Our finals are all on the day after Christmas Break, which means that most people that want to pass and aren't as gifted mentally as I will have to study on New Year's. 6. We apparently aren't in school long enough (I disagree; we have something like six and a half hours, but go to school many more days than are necessary), so the buses pick us up fifteen minutes earlier-- although classes begin at the same time and end at the same time, thus accomplishing nothing. This doesn't affect me directly (I only take the bus home), but I still have to put up with the bitchin'n'moanin'. |

I'm afraid I can't do that.

Your teachers are a bunch of asswipes... A final right after christmas. Your HAVE to realx during the holidays, Thats what a fucking holiday is, Now some people will be worried shitless over their grades! What are they thinking? Probably about nothing. Second, The bus thing is hilarious, I dunno what they set out to do there. To piss the students off even more. Try to control the School with petitions if your really mad. Teachers fear a uprising among students. Finally, Sorry about school man, Sounds like it's rather tough sometimes. It sounds like you don't enjoy the bus ride home sometimes. Aw well, Here's to hoping. |

Eh, the ride home is USUALLY okay-- I've learned to block out the buttholes with my MP3 player. Although that's another bit I forgot-- I originally went home on a bus with about 10 people on it, but the bus driver had me switched to another bus about two blocks closer to my house (even though I told her I need the exercise), which is the one with three kids per seat and drugdrugdrugs. |
