~No, but the programs mean we're at least freaking TRYING. And now you're trying to be pissy about the fact that America... eats? ~So if we're in a country and doing things and they like what we're doing, that doesn't mean squat...? |

~ Sure, Why not. You eat as much as you can and throw the rest away, without regard to people starving, where the food goes to garbage dumps and the like. I'm not complaining you eat , I'm n\bitching you eat so much then throws the rest away without consdering the possibility of saving food for another night... and don't say "people does that" because most of them don't.. Why? Because your nations throws the most food away in the world. ~ You taking things out of context. First of all, People in the Middle East still oppose America and people in Iraq are still killing Americans because they approve of America. If they like what you were doing then they obivously try and help a bit more no, I remember hearing Obama say Iraq needs to pull it's own weight because America was giving them a free ride. Plus, most people also don't like what America is doing because it's breaking the laws of the world AND killing people. I saw a picture of a man holding his son in a blanket, his son was dead after a American bombing on a town. His face was buried in that blanket and he was crying... Does that sound like a job well done? A innocent child died because people 'approve' of Ameria and what they're doing... Infact, Close or probably more then a million innocent people died because people approve of America's job. |

~Sounds like a personal choice a lot of people make. Also, your sentences are getting less and less... legible. Please make them a bit easier to read. I don't know how to respond to '"People does that," most of them don't, your nation does.' ~We haven't been bombing for a loooong time. Yeah, we're doing illegal things; you seem to jump between what the government does and what the people do. The people don't want the senseless bombing; they do want most of what's going on right now ('us bombing Iraq' = DO NOT WANT, 'us helping Iraq' = DO WANT). Like I said, we're pretty much the PeTA country-- we're trying to do the right thing (and we probably have the right idea, or at least a good one), but we really suck at it. Like, really bad. |

Yeah, people in this country are gluttonous. We have the highest obesity rate in the world. Hmm, a clue, Watson! (For the record, I am underweight.) That aside... This "war" started in 2001 under the term of Bush. It began when the Al Quaida, a terrorist organization based in Afghanistan, smashed two planes into the World Trade Center, and one into the Pentagon. 9/11/01. I was 16. I will NEVER forget that day. The image of those towers crumbling, and the name of the man behind it, Osama bin Laden, has been forever burned into my memory. When troops were sent to Afghanistan to hunt down this murderer and his men, I proudly gazed upon Old Glory and prayed for our men and women to fight well and return home. I watched the news religiously, waiting for word that justice had been served. Eight years later. I'm still waiting to see bin Ladin's head on a post. Why did I recount the 9/11 tale? Because everyone here needs to remember what the fuck this all started for, and realize that what we are doing now is wrong. Over the years, I watched a slow trickle of propaganda take hold of the mindless masses of America. I saw people forget all about Osama bin Ladin, the Al Quaida, and the 9/11 attack in favor of Sadam in Iraq. I watched in disgust as one excuse after another was made to forget the truth and chase Saddam Hussein. I witnessed George W. Bush unzip his fly, whip his shit out, and piss all over the graves of every American who died on 9/11. And it makes me sick. He had the audacity to ignore justice, and chase oil. Yes, OIL. That is the sole purpose of this "war". The entire Bush family is rich off oil, can nobody put 2 and 2 together? The mission here is simple, and kills two birds with one stone. The first was for Bush to eliminate daddy's old nemesis. Done. The second is to mold the broken nation into the perfect little servant to America. We are forcing democracy down their throat, in order to secure a cheap source of oil. Iraqi's want freedom. But the only way they can have it is the same way we got ours: By their own hands. We cannot do this for them, nor should we. This is not an attempt to free Iraq. This is a mission to conquer Iraq. Maybe now you can understand why I am not a patriot. I refuse to believe in a country that would rather chase oil than justice. |

~In all seriousness, I sometimes type Newfoundland speak in some of my post by mistake so if you all can forgive me if somethings doesn't make sense. You can call it sloppy but I call it culture. ~ I agree with Zero 110% When I wrote a report on Iraq, This is what I pretty much tried to get across. I don't honestly think Bush or the United States gives two fucks about Iraqi people, only the oil under the ground. There are a couple of moments in history where the US entered war. World War II for example, When the Japnease attacked Pearl Harbor, some people say it was provoked because of FDR, it's a conspircey theory so I wouldn't call it true, but I wouldn't doubt it existance since WWII brought America out of it's deep depression. Getting back on topic, The truth is if the United Staes wants to help, perhaps they should protect their own people first, devlop a working goal. Just to add "stablize the region" and leave it is stupid, along with "Stop the Terrorist" when the Americans themselves were the ones who brought the terrorist into Iraq and thus causing a nation who had nothing to do with Al Queda become another target. Saddam was insane, I agree. He was a cunt and he needed to be stopped, but did the US do the right thing? History can tell that story later, but all I can say is that right now, The US is dying a slow painful death and if it tries too hard to save the lives of another country, they may lose another country... their own. |
