my great grandfather fought in The battle of the bulge, Was a member of Operation overlord, and helped to liberate France during World war 2. He didn't die in the war, but he was my Hero, And It makes me feel so awesome to tell his story in history classes. Ive gotten asked to speak a few times to History classes about my great grandfather, Makes me feel really awesome. I love this country, From the bottom of my soul, But I hate what its become =/ Buncha Arrogant, Money grubbing, Whiney pricks running the government, A Leech, and an Economic Hell hole... My Grandfather would be turning in his grave right now, if he saw this is what America, the Country he gave his entire life to, has become |

The world is like that, Instead of trying to fix the planet, they grub to control out socity instead of making nature work... How good is money when you can't spend it? Is power really that addicting? |

We brag because we were pretty much the first country with freedom of speech, Joeman. xD;; Also, it's hard to commit to the 'save the world' cause because a good 25% of 'the world is dying' stuff is made up or only supported by a smidgen of the data-- the rest of the data that explains the full truth is often ignored, as it doesn't benefit those making money off 'save the world'iness. An Inconvenient Truth is a good example of this. ("Is it getting warmer out? That seems like a very good thing to know. That would be a very convenient truth." ~The Missing Link) |

You weren't one of the first, Freedom of speech can be traced back to the 7th century. America has defined itself as a.. No, Sorry, THE land of the free. The reason why you brag about freedom is because America is and has always been defined by "Freedom" while most nations have the exact same or has more freedoms. Why brag about something nearly everyone has and for that matter, why brag about something when somebody has it better? Sounds really stupid if you ask me. I agree somewhat. Captialism doesn't seem to stop and consumption is obivously there in the whole "Saving the World." bit. But that doesn't change the fact that humanity isn't killing the world. We drill holes, tear down/burn forests which causes deforestaztion and possibly the deaths of thousands of animals. The oceans are being raped for it's seafood. Newfoundland use to have so much fish that it was foretold that the fish would never run out. Today, Our fish market is dead, the Newfoundland Cod is nearly extinct because of Human meddling with the eviroment. |
