Alright, time to kick some ass... Final Fantasy 7 is a game about a guy who was cloned from an alien with eyes for tits. Upon realizing the truth and learning his connection to the eye-tit abomination, he promptly goes batshit insane and tries to destroy the world, because that's what mommy told him to do. This man is in turn hunted by another man, who once idolized him. He idolized him so much, that he spent all his free time imagining he was fighting alongside him. These fantasies eventually rooted themselves so deep into his psyche, that he acctualy believed he had lived it. In reality, his freind had lived it while he stayed home fantasizing. Gee, wonder why he didn't make the military cut? Along the way his girlfriend dies. By girlfriend I of course mean a chick he knew for about a week. Someone's been fantasizing again, I think. Of course, he already has a chick with LEGENDARY BEWBS who would jump his bones without a moment's hesitation, but he really doesn't care. Along the way, you also meet an airheaded ninja, an annoying cat, another goddamn vampire, and a talking dog. Quite frankly, I would rather have played the entire game as the black guy with a machine gun for an arm. Oh yeah, and the guy with the eye-tit mommy can fly with one wing. Cuz aerodynamics are silly. The game system contains Over 9000 little glowy balls that require more work to enhance than the acctual characters do. By the time you learn a new ability from one, it will be obsolete, and a brand new one will conveniently crawl out of the woodwork to take it's place. Except for the uber-glowy balls, which require inbreeding giant chickens. Now tell me why I should like FFVII. |

It's the psychoticness of the entire thing that makes it awesome. Also the eye-tit thing isn't really how it originally was, just after it was stuffed in a Shinra box. Let's face it-- insanity is just plain awesome. Also also he was developing a crush on the girl... which is natural. There really isn't as much angst in it as the fanbase suggests. "Annoying vampire" is not a vampire. "Talking cat" is more accurate. He has SEVEN wings. He's actually a fairly interesting character as far as name origins go (the teachings of Kaballah offer his name, Sephiroth). I love the glowy balls. It allows you to make combos and customize a lot of things while still keeping you somewhat limited. It really kind of... works. "Okay, I can make a spell that cures everyone or a spell that hurts everyone, but I can only use it once per battle. Now twice per battle. Now as many times as I goddamn want." It's kind of a slow development; when you start with it, you're kind of annoyed at the lack of things that you can do;. When you get deep enough... well, c'mon. You're a freaking GOD with all the possibilities. Not saying you have to love it, but a fair amount of your points are invalid, poorly-informed, or just plain opinion rather than actual flaws. |

I Agree with Foxby XD The game got Amazing near the End, As well as the Insanity bit, It made me think of all the Times Ive stepped across that Line, If only for a little bit, And how deep I Could have gone... Sure I got lost in the Story a few times, But none the Less, It was good =3 Oh, My favorite part though, Was having to Run away from the Giant snake in the swamp In the first Disc, Then Coming back in the 3rd and OHKOing the Prick XD |

FFVII is over-rated, but not really a bad game. It defines what a RPG should be like. Even though the whole idea of young good looking teens with spikey hair has longed affect FF and should stop along with other RPGs who do this, But I digress. Games like FFVII left it's mark a while back, it's remembered as a legendary game that defined a genre, Like OOT, While most people forget other contrabutions. Like Majora's Mask, A game much better then OOT. Insanity is indeed epic as Foxby said, I mean NGE's insanity bit is basically one of the reason why's the anime is a mega popluar anime and usually voted at the top of anime lists. FFVII is over-rated. Also Foxby, Isn't Edward a annoying vamp- Never mind. |

Personally I dont think anything is wrong with the FFVII series. Sure I think Cloud is kinda mental, and taking the personal of Zack is a little stupid, but he was overall an alright character. Barrett is badass because hes a steriotypical black man.... with a gun attatched to his arm. Tifa certainly does have EPIC BOOBAGE which is awesome in ALLLLL the hentai shes featured in. Aerith (or Aeris.... it keeps changing in the FFVII and KH) just annoyed me in the original FFVII but I liked her in Crisis Core, go figure. Cait Sith was a pointless character, Vincent was emo and wierd, Yuffie was cute but kinda annoying character in general. The plot got lengthy and really boring in several parts. But like every fan would say, (along with Joey) It defined the series, and the genre. If you ask a person to name an RPG game, theyll immediately think FFVII Good game, In fact I wanna play it again. Hopefully theyre working on an updated version of it for the PSP. |

I love that Zero made this. To me, Hate FF7. FF8 is superior to me. FF7 can't even hook me enough to play it more. I just got Vincent in it last time I played. And FF4 is the most pwn FF game I've ever played. It absolutely SLAUGHTERS FF7. |

I personally like FFVI one the most, if just for Kefka >> Though I think FFVII gets a bad rap now, to the point where claiming to enjoy it will get you labeled as some idiotic gamer who has absolutely no taste. Sure, the squealing fan girls and the game's constant praise hasn't exactly helped matter though I think the game had a solid, interesting story for its time and not to mention the materia system was certainly interesting as well. |

FFIV... that was with Cecil, no? The FF games all have the habit of being incredibly slow to start, although there have been a few (FF1, 4, 7, 10) that were actually good at the beginning AND the end. I honestly can't tell where 12 picks up... people keep telling me "Oh, you'll LOVE the next part!" but... I don't. |
