Hokay, so as you may know, I went to Wisconsin for Spring Break. NOTE: Any time not otherwise specified was spent playing Pokémon. Also, this is hardly worth reading. MONDAY Landed in 'Scansin. Dad's mellowed out a lot now that he... well, lost. He's not sad or anything, but he's trying to be a lot nicer. I hardly have a problem with Dad ethically anymore (there are a few things, like his good ol' gay-condemnation, though it's not outright hatred). Actually, he's beyond nice. The first things I had in Wisconsin were strawberry milk, ice cream, and KFC. If you know me, those are two favorites and a "hey ice cream's pretty awesome." The problem is his hygiene habits. I'm a little bit of a germaphobe, especially when it comes to food. In his fridge is a dead fly; there are tons of dead ladybugs in the light above the basement living room; there are several spiders that are big enough to take down a rat; the glasses had funky crusty things clinging to the outside; the bowls had funky crusties living on the INSIDE. The towels had dog hair (at least, I hope it was dog hair) on them. I'm also a big etiquette buff (yeah, Foxby, etiquette, really?). I wasn't about to wash their "clean" dishes; that'd be just plain insulting. When I brought up the dead fly in the fridge, Dad set a beer can on top of it. He does have all my favorite channels, though (Comedy Central and the cartoon ones). So that's cool. TUESDAY Didn't do much of anything on Tuesday. Made some Mac and Cheese, though. Found out I am WAY better at making spirals. WEDNESDAY Saw my Grandparents H, and GPaH took me to my Gparents G. He gave me a nice rant about how great my dad is on the way there and still seems pretty certain that the only reason I ever disliked my father is because my mom manipulates me. She tries, but all my dislike of him was my own. Anyway, both sets of Gparents doing well. I got a card from the G-Gparents, saying "Merry Christmas or Whatever" with twenty-five bucks in it. It was awesome. (They never know when they'll see me.) Later that night, I went to visit my brother, his fiancée, and my stepdad. They're all doing awesomely, and my brother's house is actually hygenic. I stayed there for the night. Now, this is where my brother becomes awesome. He's some sort of IT wizard, so he tends to have cash out the wazoo. Not quite at the moment (marriage ceremony, EXPENSIVE), but he does own the best set of headphones money can buy for X360's. I got to play Guitar Hero 5 for the first time while wearing them. THURSDAY Woke up, headed back to Dad's. Went to church. FRIDAY Church again. However, then my friends Aubrey and Devin picked me up. They're quite awesome, but we didn't have any idea where to go, so we went to Beaver Dam. I was raised in Horicon, which is about fifteen minutes away; they were raised in Lomira, which is about, oh I dunno, an hour away. Aubrey was driving and asking Devin for directions, so we ended up nearly lost, but then I told Devin to stop guessing and told Aubrey how to get places. We didn't get ahold of Zach 'til like 7, which meant driving to Fond du Lac (which is an hour away). Zach's the Jew-glue that holds us together, so we cruised over there and played... Guitar Hero 5. I unlocked most of the stuff while they beheld my Guitar Hero awesomeness (hearing them praise me for Guitar Hero is like mental blowjobs), and I even got to sleep over. Problem? There are no spare beds. I got to choose between sleeping with Zach or sleeping in a mushroom chair. I chose the mushroom chair. It hurt. SATURDAY Went back to Dad's. Crashed in a bed that wouldn't kill my neck. Made an easter egg scavenger hunt. Saw my stepbrother and his kids-- little brat is little and bratty. SUNDAY Church! Food! More food! More stepsiblings! Grandparents! Little Brat got a toy monster truck the size of a baby for Easter and complained that the "wheels weren't big enough." They were plenty big, just not ridiculous. Then, I took Little Brat and my 15-year-old stepniece on that scavenger hunt. When Stepniece found the first egg, Little Brat threw himself at her and started punching her because he wanted to read the clue to the next one before she did. So he wasn't allowed to play anymore. So we finished and ate and everyone went home and I went back to sleep. MONDAY Woke up. Chilled. Packed, went home. |

Ehhh, most of it was spent layin' in a bed. Oh, did I complain about how cold that basement is? Wasn't terrible, but I'd guess 50-65 degrees). Also, someone sneezed in church. Cue twenty "God bless you"s. I was kinda hoping there'd be a ray of light beaming down on them and a heavenly chorus or something. That'd be kinda sweet. |
